My eyes have been locked on Chandler since I first laid eyes on her since middle school. Beautiful and smart, she’s my dream girl and I’ve never wanted another. She’s it for me, but I can’t do a damn thing about it because she’s my best friend’s girl. Davis, Chandler, and I have been a tight unit for a long time but the bonds are beginning to show some strain.
I’d like to blame it on the pandemic but the truth is it’s getting harder to hide my feelings for Chandler. I can’t tell her because I’m not the type of guy who’d stab a friend in the back.
Knowing the right thing and doing the right thing is hard as hell. My heart tells me to go for it and my head tells me if I do, I stand to ruin three lives. The more I’m around her, the more my defenses crumble. All I really want is to go all in.
La pandemia cambio la vida de todos en un abrir y cerrar los ojos. Los padres de Chandler están atendiendo todo el día en el hospital y ella estudia en casa para graduarse ese año.
Y todavía ama a Berkley como el primer día en que lo vió. No puedo olvidarlo.
Me gustó...
No me gustó...
I'm so disappointed in this book idk maybe it was the wired chapters or some of the errors?? Idk I wasnt feeling it..and i love the FU series... ugh or the fact the whole reason this couple couldn't be together because Berkley (H) thought his best friend wanted the h. 😒😒😒 When it was allllllll a misunderstanding and that friend only saw h as a friend. I was tired of the sneaky around Berkley not being man enough/alpha enough to go after his girl. If his friend never did.. boy I'm sorry fk the bro code.. if you think shes the love of your life do it. Lol
I didnt finish it so not giving it a rating..

-no cheating -no ow/om drama -dual virgins ❤️ -pushing away by hero -no violence but heroine had been attacked in the past -epilogue several years into the future
It's the first time I read a story set in our current state of the world. How do young people cope with the pandemic and love at the same time?
This cute story focuses on the characters' mood in this situation while giving readers a young romance filled with misunderstandings and blooming lust.
Three friends, but how many couples? The male character is convinced he cannot have the girl of his dreams because she is his friend's girl. That provokes some angst and pent-up emotions and desires that make the story entertaining. I liked the whole debacle around the computer. The mix of high school love and living in times of our very own pandemic is quite relevant.
The couple ends up realizing how deeply in love they are, but still fight to keep their circle of friends intact. The final chapters are sweet, hot and fun as they make plans for the future. The epilogue is actually hilarious! Good read.
I love young love! These two are part of a group of five friends - with Chandler being the only girl. Berkley wants Chandler, but believes she and their mutual best friend, Davis, are together. Or that Davis at least wants her. Chandler wants Berkley and she is not with Davis. Davis doesn’t want the dynamics of there group to change and is oblivious to these two wanting each other. Whoa! This is a sweet romance story set within high school during the pandemic of (I’m assuming) the coronavirus.
I was super excited to see another FU High story come to my email. Berkley is big, strong and gorgeous. Chandler is funny, loves to bake and cook, and totally 100% in love with Berkley. Loved this quick read.
HERO - Berkley Knox. High school senior. Built like a tank. Messy short dark hair and dark green eyes.
HEROINE - Chandler. High school senior. 5’4. Long chestnut-brown hair.
OVERALL THOUGHTS - Just a note before you begin reading - I think chapters 17-20 are completely out of order because I was seriously confused while reading them. After careful review, I think the order (based on the current chapter numbers) should be 18, 20, 19, and then 17. The first 16 chapters are fine. ***UPDATE: Ella noticed the error and it should be fixed now. (9/22/20)
Another note - this is set at the same school as the first three stories in the series, but it takes place several years later. None of the previous characters make appearances, though Carter Franklin is briefly mentioned due to his high school football accomplishments. OH, and this story takes place in current times meaning the pandemic is also happening for the characters. If you don’t like reality intruding on your romance novels, you might want to sit this one out.
What we have here is a friend group of five, but the main story revolves around the core trio - Berkley, who’s in love with Chandler; Chandler, who Berkley believes is in love with Davis; and Davis, who Berkley believes is in love with Chandler. In reality, Chandler’s had a crush on Berkley for a year or so now and doesn’t think he feels the same way. Berkley doesn’t make a move on her because he thinks he’d be betraying his friend Davis. Davis, meanwhile, does not view Chandler as a love interest, but also has his reasons for wanting Berkley (or any guy, really) to stay away from her. Teenage drama is exhausting, amiright?
I found myself confused over several things. The first is the names. Lord, I could NOT stop my brain from wanting Berkley to be the girl and Chandler to be the guy. I blame “Friends”! LOL I struggled so much with this, but that’s obviously not the author’s fault.
The REAL first is phone numbers. There’s a scene early on where Berkley and Chandler exchange phone numbers which I thought was a little strange. I had assumed that since the book describes the teens as being in a friend group, numbers would have been exchanged between everyone early on. Sure enough, not long after that scene, there’s another that mentions a group chat that they’re all part of...wouldn’t that require Chandler and Berkley to already have each other’s numbers?
Then there was a comment made by one of the friends, Mike, later on. He said that Berkley is a straight arrow - no drinking, smoking, drugs, or sex. Berkley admits he
Then there was Davis. In Chandler’s POV, the author insinuates that . Then in Berkley’s POV, Davis admits he’s
So that was just the confusing stuff. There’s also a lot of stuff I just didn’t care for, but this review is already long enough. I’ll probably mention a few under the safety tag below, but for now I’ll end this and say that while it was good in general, it wasn’t the best of the series. In fact, I felt kind of uncomfortable the entire time I was reading it for various reasons.
There wasn't really a set-up for sequels nor does the author mention there would be any in her note at the end. I'm curious about Davis, just as I'm sure the author intended. Syracuse was portrayed as someone who sleeps around so I'm not sure how he'd work out as a future hero. Maybe he's all talk? Mike was kind of generic, but not in a bad way. All I really got from him was football player and likes video games...basically a normal teen. I guess we'll see!
He's All In was a short but sweet read. I loved Berkley and Chandler. Chandler was a sweet girl and Berkley was broody and swoony. They were really cute and great together.
He’s All In by Ella Goode is a quick and steamy read. Chandler and Berkley have been hiding how they feel about each other, but the day comes where they can’t. But it has always been David, Chandler and Berkley. How will things change if Chandler and Berkley become a couple? A sweet story with light angst and a great epilogue.
As much as I enjoy Ella Goode, I don’t really care for teenagers having sex. Reading about it... Even if they do have an epilogue that is about 20 years later and they have kids on their own. It’s just not for my taste to be honest.
My first pandemic read! And it delivered. Catching up with the crew from FU High was hilarious. The dialogue and banter had me giggling. The boys are clueless in only a way males can be.
Chandler has crushed on Berkeley forever. She thinks her feelings are unrequited, what she doesn’t realise is that he’s been in love with her for a while. But he’s never made a move thinking their best friend Davis is her guy. When he comes to the realisation that they aren’t a thing all bets are off. He’ll make his!

He's all In by Ella Goode is the story of Chandler and Berkley. Davis, Chandler and Berkley are friends. But Berkley has a crush on Chandler but thinks Davis is interested too. But this story ends with just two of them together. This was a quick hot read.
The story between these two, reminds us of how complicated relationships were in high school. So concerned with how other people see us and worried about alienating our friends. Great story about friendships and how our parents effect the way we see life.
Both virgins in high school set during pandemic confinement...not my expectation of FU High school.
Berkeley thinks Chandler and Davis are a couple when he’s actually her protector. There’s slight miscommunication- they are only eighteen.
It was routine to walk to get snacks ending in a day neither one will ever forget. Davis found someone cornering Chandler at a petrol station, luckily he got there before anything more could actually happen. It took three people to pull Davis off the man who had tried to force his unwanted attention on her. That was the day that Davis had staked a claim on her to protect her from unwanted attention. He made it his mission to ensure they kept their distance. Everyone became convinced they’re a couple, including their friend, Berkeley. In reality Davis is a very protective brother. One that she adores for all his kindness.
Berkeley is quiet and unassuming-he caught his father cheating with a woman (not his mother) on their dining room table, Davis was with him at the time.
Years later into the future ... “I can’t believe it’s raining this hard. How am I going to get to prom in the middle of a hurricane?” Baker wails. “The rain will die down.” “It’s not a hurricane because we don’t live near any body of water. It’s a thunderstorm,” Mav says flatly, not looking up from the book he’s reading. I think it’s Nietszche or some other unpronounceable philosopher whose works I don’t understand. How I ended up with such a brainy kid I don’t know. I was smart enough in high school and managed to get a master’s in business, but I’ve got nothing on this one. He doesn’t even look like a braniac at six four and two hundred plus pounds, but to the high school coaches’ dismay, he doesn’t have any interest in sports. If his nose isn’t in a book, he’s sleeping—unlike my daughter, who’s all motion, no rest. She spins around and points a finger at her older brother. “It’s a metaphor.” “Metaphors are figures of speech describing something abstract. Rain is not abstract.” He flicks to the next page. “I hate you.” Baker stomps her foot, looking more like six than sixteen.
“Let’s have people over here,” Chandler suggests. “No.” “Why not? We can turn the library into a dance floor. It’s large enough if we push all the furniture to the walls. We’ll get a caterer to come in and make punch and finger food. I can whip up some pastries.” Baker scrunches her nose and shakes her head. “It’s because of you, Dad,” Mav informs me. “Me?” I point a finger at my chest. “Yeah, she wants to make out with her boyfriend and can’t do it when you’re around. If the party was held here, you’d be around,” he explains. “Did you say boyfriend?” “God! Mav. Do you have to have such a big mouth?”
Baker picks up the skirts of her dress and runs down the hall. “Boyfriend?” “I’ll kill him.” I start for my bedroom. “You can’t. You don’t know who he is.” What did Baker once call Maverick? A know-it-all? That fits. “Tell me then.” “No.” “Why not?” How did I go so wrong with my kids? “Because then you’ll call him and make threatening noises which will make Baker cry. Baker crying will make Mom cry and then you’ll be in a terrible mood because you hate to see Mom cry. Mom crying and Baker crying and you being in a piss-poor mood means a bad day for me, so no, I won’t tell you who he is.”
“I will tell you that if he gets out of hand or hurts Baker, I’ll pound his face in and feed his dick to the fish in our pond.” He slaps me on the shoulder with his book. “I got this, Dad. Might as well call up the caterer since the hurricane is going to keep us from the party.” “I thought it wasn’t a hurricane.” My son arches an eyebrow. “You’re going to argue with Baker? Good luck.” He’s laughing as he walks away. Chandler returns soon after. “Were you two telling jokes?” she asks, gliding over to me. I catch her up in my arms and place a kiss on her lips. “Yeah.” We were bonding over him pledging to make a eunuch out of Baker’s boyfriend—a boyfriend I didn’t realize she had.”
“Leon is not her boyfriend exactly. Just a friend that she likes.” I’m being buttered up for something—probably the party here. She isn’t aware that Mav has already talked me into it, and I don’t plan to enlighten her any time soon. I enjoy being bribed with sex. It’s one of my favorite activities. “That sounds like a boyfriend to me.” “We were young lovers, too,” Chandler reminds me. My eyes widen. “L-lovers?” “Shhh. It’s going to be okay. Just like we were okay.” “But we got married. My baby can’t get married. She’s sixteen.” “She’s not getting married. She’s just exploring young love.” “This sounds like the worst thing I’ve ever heard.” I no longer want to be bribed with sex. I need to have a talk with my son. Maybe buy him a sledgehammer. And a knife. Possibly a chainsaw?

Berkley has been in love with Chandler forever, but she’s his best friend Davis’ girl. He can’t be going after her. Chandler is in love with Berkley too, but she can’t get him to notice her, no matter what she does. With the pandemic happening there is no school and no football which has left Davis very melancholy and depressed. Worried about him Chandler and their friends try to spend more time with him. That means Berkley has to spend more time with Chandler, talk about a double edged sword. While trying to fix her computer, they end up kissing, feeling guilty he yells at Chandler and leaves. But only to the backyard, he’s there when Chandler steps outside. She decides she done with their weird dance, she asks him if he wants her, he says, “More than my next breath.” Swoon!! She wants to know why he won’t go after her, he says he can’t takes Davis’ girl. Chandler tells him Davis is her friend and she doesn’t feel that way about him. The two kiss again and decide to keep their relationship a secret from their friends, especially Davis. They sneak kisses and touches whenever they can until Davis catches them and thinks Berkley is forcing himself on Chandler. He punches him a few times and Berkley does not defend himself. Chandler explains everything to Davis who feels bad and says he will apologize to Berkley. But Chandler stops him, she says he needs to fight for them, he needs to believe in them. He comes over and tells Davis Chandler is his and he loves her. Super sweet epilogue years later with their two children as teens. I was worried this was a love triangle, I hate those, someone always has to lose and that’s awful. I liked how strong Chandler was, I liked Berkley’s need to be a good friend, he should have fessed up sooner but he’s only a teen boy working through so many issues. I loved that they were dual virgins. I hope we get a book for Davis.

Book 4 in the #FUHIGH series, 'He's All In' by Ella Good is a story written about high school kids who go into lockdown during a pandemic. Berkley has been in love with Chandler since the moment he met her a few years prior. The only reason he has never pursued her is because he thinks she belongs to his bestfriend Davis. Chandler has has a crush on the quiet Berkley for a while but always assumed he only saw her as a friend. Being in the same friend group, these two never tried to make a move on the other until the pandemic where they are in closer quarters and finally give in to what they both want. This was a sweet story of loyalty and miscommunication. Loyalty because Berkley tried so hard to stick to bro code but couldn't resist after all these years, and miscommunication because if they knew how the other felt, they could have been together sooner had Berkley known she wasn't Davis' girl and that they had a crush on each other. The only downside to this story is that it didn't really put much emphasis on FUHIGH. Yeah I get that they were all in high school and there was an epidemic but maybe more of the school could have been mentioned. Also, am wondering if the other characters in the book Davis, Syracuse and Mike will get a mention if any more FUHIGH books pop up? Although a few of the chapters were jumbled up towards the end, I still got the gist of the story and have been told that Ella has had Amazon fix the mistake, so hopefully those of you who read it after will get a better understanding of the story.
I adored this story! This story is set in the pandemic, highlighting the restrictions and stresses and uncertainty that come with it. Some are affected more than others, and this story very much reflects that. This book also has strong friendships and interesting dynamics amongst those friendships. The core group of 5 friends support each other, love each other, and understand one another as no one else does. Berkley is an anti-social, highly intelligent, abrupt, massively built alpha. He's been in love with Chandler for years, but is sick over it, thinking she belongs to his best friend, Chandler is a sweetheart, upbeat and positive, with a loving and caring nature. She's loved Berkley for awhile, but believes he'll never see her the same way she sees him. Soon, though, each begins to reveal their feelings, and a showdown is inevitable. The love between Berkley and Chandler is no less real just because they are young. Welcome back to FU High, where I hope we'll get many more stories! Happy Reading!!
I really love Insta-love book that take place in high school like this one and I loved the other FU books by Ella Goode and this one was an interesting addition to the FU world. My major complaint with this book is that the story was very disjointed especially the ending when it went back and forth between the chapters in the present and the future, also there wasn't a smooth transition between the chapters which again added to the disjointed feel. I did like though that this takes place during the pandemic and that it touched on how students are being impacted currently especially the seniors. I really hope we get a story for the other 3 guys we meet during this because I really would love to see them meet their match. Overall this was an ok addition to the FU world but hopefully we do get more of the one day soon.
I had one really big pet peeve with this book. The whole fake relationship between Davis and Chandler. For one we don't really learn exactly why they needed this type of relationship except she might have been cornered by another guy? I couldn't understand why Berkley wasn't included in this or why he was never told, especially since he's suppose to have been such good friends with Davis.
The close tight knit group of friends are just trying to survive their last year of high school during a pandemic. While Davis slowly starts to lose his mind because he can't play football, Chandler and Berkley put their feelings and relationship on the back burner to take care of their friend. I'm kind of hoping we might get a story on Davis and see how he reacts when he finds someone that is more important to him than football.
Short and sweet friends to lovers story. I think I would have enjoyed this book more if I'd read it later down the road when we aren't in the thick of the pandemic. It felt like the setting was just too soon.
The main character names also threw me for a little bit, since they're flip flopped for what the "gender norm" names would be. I kept having to remind myself, no Berkley is the hero and Chandler is the heroine.
I liked Berkley and his reserved and closed off personality. I thought Chandler was so sweet and spunky. The two of them being almost opposites made for quite the enticing romance.
I would have rated this story higher, but a lot of the dialogue was messy and hard to follow due to formatting. It wasn't always clear who was speaking or when their part ended and another character's voice began.
I really could not put this sexy story down. It is a sweet story about long term friendship turning into more. Berkeley is head over heals for his girl Chandler. She’s been part of his friend group for awhile, but he thinks she is with his best friend. He fights his growing feelings and finally can no longer resist them. He has to make his girl Chandler his own. Grab a copy of this book in the fu series. I cannot wait for more to come.
Loved it, it has everything I loved about the series in it, high school, some difficulty in trying to set the tone of their relationship and of course them finally getting together.
The only problem I had with this story was for some reason it seemed a couple of chapters content seemed to be placed in the wrong chapter. So sometimes I got confused. Like the chapters got switched around but not the number of the chapter if that makes any sense?
Not my favorite of the series but I like growl fowl mouth Berkley, just a bit confused in the first few chapters and about Davis and Chandler. Could use more time with Berkley and Chandler together than having to worry about the third wheel finding out. Need more obsession and stalker behavior. appreciated Ella's view on the pandemic. Excited and waiting for her to write Davis's story next.
This is a story between a group of three teenage friends. Chandler and Berkeley are in love with each other but scared to ruin their friendship with each other and Davis, their friend, they chose to stay silent. Until the pandemic happens and they start spending more time together in a effort to support their friend that us going through some depressive times. Great read, love the plot with likeable characters and red hot romance. Highly recommended
3 stars because I DNF... which sucked because I love Ella Goode's quick, sexy stories and one clicked wo reading the blurb. This story lost me in chapter one with the mention of virus, pandemic and masks... im sure loads of people will enjoy it, but reading is my escape from reality and I just can't read books that slap me in the face with a dose of the current reality that I'm hoping to forget about for a little while.
I need more FU! I want Davis to meet his girl! I really hope there’s more FU coming out because those are def my favourite Ella Goode books! I like her others too but FU are my favs! I especially liked books 2 and 3, now Davis needs his book! And Syracuse and Mike! Cmon more FU High books! Who knew high school books would be so great!
