Unlovable

I think lyrics to a song can define the most important moments in life and in this book, it defines each chapter. The chapters start out with lyrics to a song and throughout the chapter, I tie the lyrics in with Bible verses and real life experience to show that everyone struggles but what really matters are our faith and trust in Christ. We matter because God proved that we do by sending his Son. The thing is, this is such basic information, we know God loves us, but we are so inundated with society and things people have said to us that have cut deep to our core that it's hard to believe. It’s hard to believe that we matter and we are worth it. It’s hard to believe that we are lovable, but, we are and God proved that by sending his Son. Let the lyrics of these songs, the stories of the Bible, and real life examples show you that you are truly loved by God and that what you have done and are doing isn't going to stop God from loving you.You are exactly where you are meant to be for God to use you and for God to show you His love. It’s a short read (takes about 3 hours) but in that short time, the effect is transforming. Finding our identity as a daughter or son in Christ makes all the difference in our day to day lives and how we handle things that come our way. This book is worth your time.

This is just like having a conversation with Renee. She’s open, honest, and just fun! But most importantly, she’s showing you the love of Christ, the love He has for you, and how to love yourself. A fun, bonus - she adds a song to each chapter. And wants you to meditate and really listen to the lyrics. It was a really sweet, quick read that reminds me I’m loved by my King.
Do yourself a favor, go get the book, listen to these songs, read her words and feel loved!
