I've been reading my 6/7 yr old son these books and they can't publish them fast enough for us. I was surprised that even though this is a middle schooler somehow they knew what he needed to hear because each book has a life lesson that ironically was sometimes appropriate at the time of reading. We've read a few other minecraft books like these and as a parent I suggest these hands down because each book has a "lesson" such as stealing, lying, cheating, trying to be cool to fit in, etc. I highly recommend this series.
The book was pretty good, it followed the main character Zombie. The book was about Zombie facing problems in middle school like Zombie wanting to fit in. I thought that the book was funny although some parts of the book were just straight up boring.
I liked this book because I like apples. In the beginning, Zack's little brother, Wesley, was saying a bad word (@#$%?&). Zack taught Wesley the "word." There was this new kid, who moved into Zack's school, and he said the bad word at Zack's school. In fact, people in Zack's school say the bad word a lot. And Zack was growing a new tooth, so people were making fun of it because it was so white (Zack was a Minecraft zombie, so his teeth were brown and green).
One thing I love about this series of books is the message that instalment has.
This one sees zombie want to get in with the cool kid crowd when a new kids comes to school Blaze. He is one of those trouble maker who cuts classes cusses and ends up getting zombie in on it too, his friends steve and the gang notice how he has changed after hanging around with blaze, but this story shows you that no matter what you look like, how you dress or how you act your true friends will always be there for you when you need them, cause let's face it blaze was anything but a friend to zombie. Glad he saw the light, and even my kids recognise what kinda friend blaze was to zombie so it's a good thing and a good talking point. The kids want more so on to the next book!
Pretty much every Zack Zombie book has a great lesson and plenty of adventure! My mom and and I read this series together and I was worried Zack wasn't going to learn his lesson which would have made me real sad!
Diary of a Minecraft Zombie was a really good book because when I was younger I used to play the game called Minecraft. The author of this book is Zack Zombie, and he really did good on this book. I that only part I didnt like about this book is that it was too short but at least there are more series to this. My favorite character was Steve because of what he does to help his friend out. "What can really go wrong" is my favorite quote because is bringing his friends over to steves village and every time a creeper make a wierd noise means he is about to blow up. My least favorite character was Jeff the kids that thinks he is better that everybody, he is one of those kids that try to humiliate people for their fun in stuff. I really liked this book I can't wait to read the next book of this series.
