I will say this again. I LOVE & ADORE MATT and RED ❤❤❤
This book was an emotional rollercoaster. I had certain expectations (thanks to Misha) BUT nothing prepared me for it. It was so good to go back to my favourite book duo and read about their love and struggle as a married couple.
The love between these two had me swooning. I legit felt like I was a present throughout the book.
Matt, my beautiful firefighter man ❤ i was blown away by his vulnerability in this book. In Deying Red, Matt is an ALPHA male and we don't really read about his sensitive side. This book was like reading his hearts desire and I just fell for him even more ❤❤
Michaela, my girl ☺️ she is so brave and strong but fmd I wanted to slap her a few times 😂. Her love for Matt is so beautiful and pure, I just wanted to cry (I may have let a few tears escape).
I really enjoyed this book and I am very excited for the other brothers stories. I hope these stories don't end 😂❤

After getting married, Matt and Michaela are living in their bubble until the bubble pops and they are faced by hardships life throws at them.
This story beings with a lot of romance and steamy scenes that will make the readers fall in love the characters again. It then proceeds to become emotional which will tug the hearts of its readers that will make the readers wonder whether there is an HEA. And not to forget the hilarious again end note by the characters that will again leave the readers grinning.
Personal Take:
I am still comprehending how these two short continued stories made me go thru an emotional roller coaster. I couldn't put these book down once I started to read them. Thoroughly loved the end notes.

The book continues where Unraveling (Book 1.5) and Denying Red (Book 2) left us off. They seem to intersect in some of the same moments but from POV of Michaela and Matt's side. I liked it since there were moments in Unraveled that made me curious about what they said.
Michaela discovered something significant that she feels that she needs to face alone and spare Matt the "burden". She decides to sacrifice their relationship for the greater good. Too bad, Matt has other ideas on his sleeves when he learned all about this secret.
Matt was a lot more vocal with his thoughts and learned to "fight" again for them in this book. He stepped up amazingly and was the "calm" and "sanity" Michaela needed to charge through the challenges she needed to face. I'm such a sucker for Matt!
I am so not happy that Michaela is deciding to deal with her problems independently, instead of fighting as a team. I understand that she's a strong woman and knows she has the strength within her to do it, but in her case, why? She has a wonderful husband that she can lean on when days would get bad, but she didn't see it that way.
The rest of the book moves at a faster pace after one big issue gets resolved. I am still running from a high from Unraveling that I got blind-sighted by the plot of how gut-wrenching it would be. Yes, I am a sucker for this and recalled that Denying Red tore me up! This book still had the same formula of tearing my heart and putting it back in its place.
This book is for readers who want tear-jerking action and lots of heartfelt confessions, and quotable quotes - this is the book for you! I had so many highlighted that the ones indicated here are some of my favorites without giving away anything. (Note that many of my favorite quotes are from Matt - which is rare because we all know that the male dominate rarely express feelings versus commands.) It's another lovely and encouraging read about redemption, healing, and I can't believe I'm saying this - "stronger love than in Book 2"!

You have read Denying Red, and the ending didn’t satisfy your need to know more about Matt and Michaela's HEA, then don't be upset, this novelette will reply to your desires.
Once again we can see how strong and beautiful these two characters are, and how they go over everything life throws at them.
