Here you will find a variety of genres from science fiction to horror, to fantasy and many dimensions in between. The stories found here all begin with scribbling on the corner of a napkin. The rest is left to the imagination. Who knows what could happen or what dangers lurk at the end of the journey? It all starts with the simplest of paper that takes each character on a journey to change for the better (or worse) than how they started, by honoring the scribbling on a napkin.
Philip K. Booker’s love of storytelling and fascination with things strange and unknown led him to leap headfirst into the emerging geek culture as a teen, embracing roleplaying games, LARPs, and sci-fi and fantasy books, movies, and television. Through these loves, he met his wife, Heather, who humors his varied obsessions. They live near Chattanooga, Tennessee, with their five children, known only somewhat jokingly as Clan Booker (trademark pending). He writes stories across all genres, but tends to focus on Urban Fantasy and Science Fiction. His pieces are often littered with humor, snark, and pop culture references. Rekindled Embers has been his first published Romance (included in Men in Uniform), but he may return to the genre again in the future. He is a contributing member of The Corner Scribblers writing group. When not writing or hunting the fabled full-night’s sleep; he enjoys playing games like Munchkin and Pandemic with his friends and family, attending conventions, serving his local Church, and drinking lots of coffee.
