Would you like the long or the short version of my bio?

The short? You got it.

I write steamy gay romance books and I love it. I also love reading books. Books are everything.

How was that?

A little more detail? Gotcha.

I started writing my first stories when I was a teen…on a freaking typewriter. I still have these, and they’re adorably romantic. And bad, haha. Fear of failing kept me from following my dream to become a romance author, so you can imagine how proud and ecstatic I am that I finally overcame my fears and self doubt and did it. I adore my genre because I love writing and reading about flawed, strong men who are just a tad broken..but find their happy ever after anyway.

My favorite books to read are pretty much all MM/gay romances as long as it has a happy end. Kink is a plus… Aside from that, I also read a lot of nonfiction and not just books on writing. Popular psychology is a favorite topic of mine and so are self help and sociology.

Hobbies? Ain’t nobody got time for that. Just kidding. I love traveling, spending time near the ocean, and hiking. But I love books more.

This was such a sweet little holiday treat with the boys from Firm Hand and Gentle Hand and I was so happy to be back with them again. I already loved both couples, so getting to see Rhys and Cornell, and Brendan and Raf share their first Christmas together was pure comfort!!

Yes, the spice is definitely still there (because of course it is), but what really got me were those softer, reflective moments. You could really feel how far they’ve all come, what they’ve lost, what they’ve found, and how much they’ve grown together. It hit all the emotional notes while still being hot as hell.

Honestly, it felt like a perfect little bonus epilogue to both stories, and now I’m just crossing my fingers we’ll get even more from them someday. If you loved the previous books, you need this one in your life.

It's an interesting book on Daddy/littles play, which I knew very little, (no pun intended), about until reading this series. It's really rather sweet but like a lot of kink...may not be for everyone....and that's perfectly okay since there is so much in the M/M Romance & BDSM world to visit. This is a Christmas novella. Raf is our "little" in this one. He has always been a disappointment to his parents, especially his father. His ADHD made his life miserable and difficult to navigate through. What makes it worse is that he knows he is attracted to the "Lifestyle" just as much as his best friend Rhys, but he has no idea what form of the "Lifestyle" he is supposed to follow. That is until he literally wound up in the lap of a natural Daddy... Brendan. All Brenden had ever wanted was a “little” to take care of and call his own. When he discovers the boy crying, in the next booth over in the club, he knows his search may finally be over. But the question is can he let his ordeal with his last “boy” go so he can pursue the life he desires most? We first met Raf and Brendan in the first book in this series Firm Hand. Raf has been Rhy's best friend since high school and even though Rhy's has a "boy" of his own he wants his friend taken care of and Brenden was the perfect choice. I've liked all the "Daddies" in this series, and I love Nora Phoenix’s writing style and that she gave these deserving guys a Merry Christmas.

Could Raf get any more precious? And could Rhys get any more perfect? I don’t think so. 😉 I love these guys. I like Cornell and Brendan too, but Raf and Rhys are my faves in this little world.

This is a quick novella with both couples from Firm Hand and Gentle Hand celebrating Christmas together. It's a little emotional because it's the first holiday without Jonas (Cornell's best friend and Rhys' father). It also brings out all the feels with Raf and his childlike wonder on Christmas morning. That was one of the sweetest things I've ever read.

This could probably be read as a standalone, but I highly recommend starting at the beginning of the series.

I absolutely loved this.

I liked the back and forth of all four character POVs, showing how connected these two couples are. I also love how they each show how much they care about all three of the others, both in teasing and serious ways. Happy sigh...

I’ve read this author before. This is a mm contemporary novella with 2 couples from previous books in this series. Daddies and littles, snowed in for Christmas. A great read.

Very sweet, kinky, hawt follow-up to the two previous books. This features both couples getting together for Christmas, but the main fun is watching Raf, in "little" mode, as he experiencing the joy of a real Christmas, complete with gifts given from the hearts of his friends and his Daddy.

Onward to Ford's story. I can't wait.

A Good Time Had By All!

This is a perfectly sweet, Christmassy coming together of “little” Raf & Daddy Brendan, Daddy Rhys & sub, boy Cornell. Both couples are from the previous two books in the Perfect Hands series. The short tale includes a snowstorm, lots of presents and a bunch of sexy times! A cute read! Rating: 3 1/2 ⭐️⭐️⭐️

So sweet

It was so sweet seeing these two couples together and how their friendships tie them together, and how their kinks work for them too.

Eh. This was just an excuse to see the two couples from the other books have lots of sex. They plan to spend Christmas together and there is a touch of plot about Cornell feeling very sensitive about the first Christmas with his friend and Rhys' dad, and Raf playing in the snow and getting gifts while still having issues with feeling rejection. But it was more an excuse for numerous sex scenes (which I mostly skimmed/skipped) to get 20 pages of "where are they now" in. (Both engaged)

Not my thing. Maybe for die hard fans of the other two books.

Listened to the audio which I got for a deal (possibly free - I can't remember) Short audio.

The warm a fuzzies

This is a fluffy book full of love and feelings and some wonderfully hot and sexy moments. But the sheer adorable scenes are heartwarming and cute.

I want to hug the characters. I want to play with Raf and cuddle him. Daddy Brendan and Daddy Rhys are just awesome and cool, and Cornell deserves all the love he can get.

PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!!

To my ratings:
A 3,5* is clicked with a 4* but in review marked as 3,5*:

5* - very very good and rare (it would be a Blow-Away-book like ‘Jesse's Smile’ or ‘Joey’ from Angelique Jurd, ‘Save the the kids’ series
from EM Leya, ‘Love’s Tethered Heart’ from C.L. Etta or ‘Liberty’ from Seth King),
it's like an A+

4* - very good and will be often reread and is a WOW-book with interesting plot and surprises (like most of Andrew Grey books and Davidson Kings 'Haven Hart'-series)
it's like an A

3,5* - a really good book, which will be reread a few times (most romances where you can enjoy for relaxing and during waiting times in
hospitals). I can recommend them definitively!
It's like an B+

3* - it could be more then a one-time-reader (2-3 times a year),
it's like a B

2* - it was ok to read, but it's more a one-time-reader (I wouldn't recommend it heartily, but it was ok)
It's like a C-, D

1* - sorry, but that isn't really a book for me (too many mistakes, not nice plot, illogical, so an absolute NO-GO). It's like failure in the
whole line, dismissed, repeat the class

This mini-review is part of a list titled "Kinky Christmas" that can be read in full at The Smut Report

Let’s throw in some daddies. This book is a sort of bonus epilogue sequel to prior books in the series, but it’s a soft little holiday romance snack for the daddy curious. This book features a younger daddy, Rhys, who fell for his dad’s best friend, Cornell (daddy D/s but no age play), Rhys’s best friend, Raf, who discovered his little side with caregiver daddy, Brendan (DD/lb relationship). The couples don’t play together, but there’s plenty of…festivities…as they’re all snowed in at Rhys and Cornell’s house for the holiday.

This novella is a sweet holiday (Christmas) story featuring the two couples we’ve met previously in this series. The dynamic between Rhys and Cornell is not the same as between Raf and Brendan. Still, the previous friendship between Rhys and Raf brings the couples together in a social context where each man is free to be their authentic self within the boundaries of their relationships. There are cute moments for all the characters, even beyond Raf indulging in being a “Little.” There are also plenty of sexy bits to go around, and in the spirit of the season, even the “dark moments” are mere hiccups in the road of life. Consider this a fuzzy epilogue to be enjoyed if you read the first two books. Meanwhile, I can’t wait to finally meet Master Ford in the next installment of this series.

RECENSIONE A CURA DEL BLOG ROMANTIC FAIRIES

Voto 4 stelle e mezzo

Christmassy😄

This was a sweet holiday novella featuring the men from Firm Hand and Gentle Hand. I really enjoyed the two main books and loved that we get to see Rhys and Cornell/ and Brendan and Raf celebrate their first Christmas together.

It has plenty of the heat/sexy times you'd expect from these wonderful men but also some really touching moments where they reflect on what they've lost but also on what they've gained in this last year. I'm glad that we got to see more from these couples and I hope this isn't the last we hear from them.

If you've read Firm Hand and Gentle Hand you will definitely want to read this novella. Recommended.

Another great read!

I loved this novella. I love Rhys and Cornell but I can’t get enough of Raf, especially when he’s little Raf. Daddy Brendan knows just how to take care of him.

It’s springtime, but this book made me feel as if i were reading it during the holidays. Even though it’s a novella, it felt complete. The story didn’t move too fast and I didn’t feel as if I missed anything.

I’m looking forward to reading the rest of this series, as well as the No Shame series.

5/5 beautiful, fun, super-hot, excited, heartfelt stars

They are an amazing blend of sweet, sad, sassy and happy ever after that you’ll love.

You definitely need to read books 1&2 before this one, because it is all about Rhys, Cornell, Brendan and Raf. It's Christmas time and everyone is being a little naughty but it's time to show each other how much Christmas means to them and how much they love each other. Although it's a hard time of year with Jonas being gone. They are coping together, enjoying Raf's exuberance and excitement. And showing the precious little how precious he really is.
It's an adorable short

This is a “spend time with the characters” short in the Perfect Hands series involving couples Rhys and Cornell (from Firm Hand #1) and Brendan and Raf (from Gentle Hand #2) and shouldn’t be read as a standalone. It follows the characters in the lead up to and including the first Christmas Day since Jonas has passed. It’s sweet, fluffy, and spicy but I would have loved more of a plot. Kenneth Obi narrates the audio perfectly. Looking forward to Slow Hand (#4), the next full book!

Holidays can be hot...

When you enjoy characters it's nice to go back and visit for a while. That's what Nora Phoenix has done with Rhys, Cornell, Raf and Brendan. Brought us back for a little holiday cheer and a whole lot of hot steamy shenanigans. So read it, it is absolutely worth every moment you spend with these wicked, loving men.
