Storm is the seventh book in Tarin Lee’s Wylder Mountain Heroes series. In it we meet Gwen, a photographer and Storm a reclusive marine while both are out in the woods. She escaped a harrowing mugging attempt, and he was just out for a hiking with his dog, Thor. When their paths cross, Gwen is petrified and holds a gun on Storm. Recognizing that she needs help, he tries to calm her and takes her to his cabin to help her.

I enjoyed this instant love romance. I find Ms. Lex’s writing style enjoyable. Her characters are well-developed. I appreciated the case of instant love and electric chemistry for her plot theme. I appreciate the way she uses the main characters internal struggles to build suspense and move her plot along. Additionally, she is quite adept at using dialog, point of view, and descriptive language to hook her readers while endearing these characters to her readers. This HEA romance is a perfect read for a weekend

First things first; I really like the cover of this book!
Storm is the seventh book in the ‘’Wylder mountain heroes’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. This book is Storms book who we briefly met in ‘’wolf’’. When Gwen and her friend’s lives are put into danger, Gwen needs to find help. What she doesn’t expect is to find love whilst doing so.
The chemistry between Storm and Gwen is clear to see and I liked them together.
I thought Thor was adorable. I liked how she led Gwen to Storm.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.

I don’t know how I can even express my love for this book. It felt like this was something different from the rest of books and it just took my soul and made me see things a whole different way. Storm finds Gwen coming through the woods with his dog Thor. She’s running from two men who attacked her friend and tried to hurt her too. The story between these two is amazing and the chemistry is out of this world amazing and swoon worthy. The epilogue…now that’s a whole other story. We usually see about 10 maybe 20 years max into the future but this one was 53 years into the future and I was blown away with the message left at the end. It made me feel at peace and I hope other readers that are reading my review get this book and feel the same way I did! Thank you Tarin for another fabulous book!

Storm and Thor have found a forever love! This is about Strom and Gwen. The story starts off with Storm looking for his dog Thor, who has been gone for hours and it is starting to get dark. He finally finds her, but she hesitated to go with him as Gwen is there and she needs her. Gwen on the other hand has just escaped where two men acting as guides took her friend, Reece’s money but then just wanted to kill/hurt them. The story is short but note that Storm has not had a woman live with him since his only daughter left their home to marry off. Gwen has never been with a man and her first attraction and love was for Storm and Thor!

Thor an unlikely name for female dog has found a woman in the woods. Her name is Gwen . She is running away from two dastardly man who attacked her and her friend while supposedly giving them a tour in a restricted area in the woods. As she is finally got away from them chasing her, she is tired. Thor comes on her scent and directs her to higher and safe around. This is where she meets Storm. After talking to Gwen, storm takes her to safety. From there they’re bantering and her adrenaline she feels safe. Storm is thinking he wants her to stay. Considering he doesn’t have indoor plumbing for personal usage is Gwen going to be willing to stay with him? No cliff

Gwen is hiking with her friend in the forest. They thought they had hired a legit hiking guide only to find out they were robbers. Her friend warned her and she took off running. She ran until Thor found her and lead her to his master, Storm. Storm brought Gwen into his cabin and after they got warm and dry she told him her story. Storm finds Gwen to be feisty, spunky, independent, and good friend. Storm did not expect to ever have any woman in his cabin, now he doesn’t know if he wants her to ever leave. This story had amazing characters, great storyline and great story of lust, passion, everlasting love. For sure, read the epilogue it was unbelievable emotional.

Gwen and one of her best friends, Reece, are on a road trip to visit the U.S. National Parks so that Reece can take pictures of the scenery. The next stop is the Wylder Bluffs park even though this one isn't on the agenda but close by. They make an error in judgment when two men say they will be their tour guides. Gwen is forced to run for her life when the two men attack Reece and come for her. As night descends, Gwen is found by Thor, a dog who belongs to Storm. Storm lives on top of Wylder Bluffs and loves his quiet life when he isn't working. Storm takes Gwen into his home and wants to keep her for himself. This is book #7 of "Wylder Mountain Heroes" series. If I was ever lost and found by a dog, you betcha I would stay with a man like Storm!

This takes place right on the heels of the previous book, Mikah, which is just amazing. Full of action, danger, instalove, and insane chemistry, this is the perfect story for just a quick break. Storm is gruff and grumpy and loving and OTT protective. I love how Gwen falls under his care as soon as he spots her. Gwen is adventurous, brave, and surprisingly accepting of Storm. But Storm's dog Thor is the one who will steal your heart. Fast-paced and highly entertaining, this is a story not to be missed. Happy Reading!!

Storm is a reclusive Marine living in the mountains when Gwen comes across his path. It's insta-attraction for them in this curvy woman/older man romance. The story has drama with scary moments and covers a range of emotions. I love the idea of a man who wants to give you everything you need because he knows you're all he needs. There is a perfect ending in the epilogue. Beautiful in intentions and dialogue. An enjoyable read - short, sweet with heat!

Storm's daughter is married with children, leaving him living alone in the mountain wilderness. Just the way he likes his life - quiet. Gwen and her friend trust the wrong guys to guide them into the Wylder Bluffs for a photography session. She finds Storm's dog, then finds Storm. He's gruff. She's sweet. They're perfect together. I love the epilogue, set so far in the future. This is the seventh book in this terrific little series, with each book just a little better than the last one.

The writing will draw you in after only a few pages and have you finishing the book in one sitting.
There is the perfect amount of angst and romance and grit to keep you hooked.

I loved how their relationship unfolded so we could see these amazing characters grow in ways you never expected.
I would suggest picking up a copy asap, you will not be disappointed.

So this amazing mountain man has been hidden in the deepest depths of the Wylder Bluffs. He’s living very remote with only his Labrador for company. He is not sure how to handle it when the woman of his dreams comes crashing into his secluded existence. And yet, they seem to find a way to heal each other. So heartwarming. Loved it.

Gwen found her home when she found Storm. Their meeting might not have been under exceptional circumstances but it led her to him.

I was excited to read this since I wanted to see how Storm would get his story. Gwen frustrated me by not listening to her friend but it did lead her to Storm. However, somewhere between when they met and the end, I was confused. I didn’t feel that sizzling chemistry although I could see there was some connection. By the epilogue though I cried because how could I not?

An insta love story of when Gwen is rescued by Thor and meets Storm. Cute meeting and a lot of courage to keep pushing herself to safety. Even though this was such a fast pace, you could understand the peace they brought each other. Beautiful ending for a surprising couple.

I enjoyed Storm and Gwen's short story. It's an intriguing fast paced story with a mix of sweet and sexy. Gwen and her friend are duped and she has to run for help. She is taken by Thor to Storm. Storm is ready for action, takes charge and protects. The attraction is instant between these two. I really like how it developed and ended.
