Sloan and Ollie are cooking up something steamy in the kitchen - and it's not just-food.
*******
Penniless and alone was not the envision Sloan once had for herself. Growing up in a foster care system, responsibility came at a young age, especially when it came to having to feed her neglected foster siblings with no money to do so. Now at 22, the aspiring chef's world crumbles with the loss of her relationship and mounting bills.
With her best friend Hallie to the rescue, Sloan is given not only a room to rent but a shoulder to cry on. And the best way Hallie knows to get her best friend out of depression? - signing up Sloan for culinary classes will not only get her out of her room but also get her back on track with a chance at the career she was born to do.
Now accepted to the Chicago Culinary Institute, a night of celebratory drinks lands Sloan in the bed of tattooed and gorgeous Oliver "Ollie" Smith. A one-night stand might have been just what Sloan needed to begin healing after her relationship, but learning that she slept with an instructor, and owner of the popular restaurant she was drinking at, was definitely not.
He's convinced she knew and targeted him to risk his career. She's over his Salty attitude and plans to dish it right back. There's just one problem-they can't seem to stop the sexual tension between them in the kitchen.
Chef Oliver just might break what little spirit Sloan has left. Or he might be the one to revive it. That is if their salty attitudes don't get in the way of a budding romance.
Re-read this 'cause I was craving some Wattpad gems and the five stars are well deserved, IMO!
Freakin' loved it. One of my favourite books for sure.
For all those who have lost faith in Wattpad, this might be gold for you. Believe it or not, I have found some serious gems in Wattpad and this is one of them. The writing is immaculate!
This book is a re read for me. I read this on Wattpad maybe two/three years ago and decided to re read it again just because I was bored. This is actually a good book, it was really quick and easy to read and honestly surprisingly good for a Wattpad book. Sloan and Ollie were so cute together and I loved them but I honestly found all the side characters annoying and I also didn’t like the third act breakup towards the end.
