This was an awesome read! Grant leaves Faith, the day of her High School graduation, by leaving her a note explaining the need to join the military just like his father and brother. Faith is heartbroken but is strong enough to go on to university and then on to working in a pharmaceutical lab. She’s on the brink of finding a vaccine to cure a deadly virus. Too many bad things start to happen so Faith hires Redmond Guardian Services.
Grant has been injured in the line of duty and when Rusty is called as his emergency contact. Rusty convinces Grant to join the team. Rusty sends Grant out on a job and he and Faith come face to face after 10 years. Grant apologizes and tries to get Faith to understand why he did what he did all the while protecting her from whoever wants her lab data for the vaccine.
This was the best book in the Guardian series so far! Faith was strong and independent and made Grant earn her trust again. Grant truly did love Faith and realized how he hurt her. Both grew in their time apart which made them all the better together when they met again.

Captivating from the first page. I loved the characters, the drama, the attraction, just everything about this book. High school sweethearts brought together again unexpectantly during a global pandemic. Faith is a working on a vaccine for the virus when her life is threatened. Grant is hired to be her bodyguard. You need to read this to watch the fireworks. This is book #4 in the Guardian Series I was given an advance copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Become Her Protector is book five in The Guardian's series. I love the Redmond Guardian guys! These guys are truly brothers, teasing each other mercilessly and protecting each other to the extreme.
Grant Roger's joined military as his father and older brother did. They ultimately lost their lives on foreign soil. He also walked away from the girl he loved. He needed to follow in his family's footsteps to serve and protect.
Faith Williams met Grant her freshman year in high school and was sure they would spend the rest off their life together. The day of graduation, Grant left her a note saying he was doing what is best for her and joined the army.
At the end of book four, Be Her Shield, Rusty Redmond received a call about an army buddy severely wounded and in a German hospital. At Grant's side when he awaken from a coma, Rusty offers Grant a job at his company.
Working for Rusty, Grant's second job finds him face to face with the woman he has never forgotten, never stopped loving in the ten years since he last saw her. Faith is working on developing a vaccine at a pharmaceutical company for a virus causing a worldwide pandemic. Her life is danger. Someone wants her dead. Now Grant is back in her life to protect her no matter the cost.
I stayed up all night and read this story beginning to end. It was just that good. I had to know what has going to happen. The story builds and builds then it picks up speed. It has gun fights, car chases, corporate espionage, humor, brotherhood and finding lost love. Grant and Faith together were loving but he was hiding his darkness. Upon finding Faith, Grant's heart is filled with her again, lighting that darkness. As adults that have changed they find a more mature love. In a safe house, they spend the alone time reacquainting themselves, especially in the bedroom for hours in end.
As the other books in the series, Become Her Protector is a thrilling standalone romance with a happily ever after.

Grant and Faith began dating in high school. They were going to be together forever. Grant's father and older brother were both military and died while serving their country. Grant felt compelled to join the military to honor their memory. However, knowing what it is like to loose a loved one, he thought it better to leave Faith and let her live her life rather than leaving her in death. Grant joined the military and Faith went on to school to become a pharmaceutical researcher. She researched and developed drugs to help people. When a virus threatens the whole world, Faith and her co-worker get close to developing a vaccine. After Faith's co-worker is murdered, Faith decides to hire personal security to protect her. When Faith goes to meet with Redmon Security, she finds the none other than her high school sweetheart and the only man's she's ever loved, is her bodyguard. Can these two put their past aside I order to keep Faith safe? Will Grant be able to stay focused with the love of his life in danger?
This book is such a great read! It goes right along with our current state of affairs worldwide and has a gripping storyline with plot twists making it hard to put down. The wonderful characters with their painful past makes this a must read! This is the fifth book in The Guardian Series by Young. Although it is a stand alone title, I recommend reading the whole series.

Great story! Another excellent addition to the series. Grant walked away from his high school love, Faith, but fate has brought them back together. Their story is engaging with an excellent story line and relatable characters. I have enjoyed every book in this series and Become Her Protector is no exception. Great story. I received an advance copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I really enjoyed this 5th instalment of the Guardian series. A real feel good read. Faith and Grant really have to overcome some major obstacles to find their HEA. Storyline is fast paced with enough twists to keep you reading till the end. Great Read!

Good story!
I enjoyed reading this quick story. I liked the characters and the plot. It was fun to follow this along and see these two get back to where they started. This book seems more involved and the characters are more developed.

Topical
I enjoyed the concept of this story set in the midst of a pandemic with Faith and Grant reconnecting after several years, when Faith finds herself the target of a hitman. Minor criticism was several errors not picked up on proofreading but did not detract from the story.

Fabulous!
A gripping read with engaging characters. The story was very exciting, set in a global pandemic. A really great book.
