Sravasti

Rate this book
Since Buddha spent 25 Retreats out of 45 in Shravasti, it naturally became the most sacred Buddhist shrine. It also played a very significant role in the history of Buddhism as most of the sermons of the Buddha were delivered in Jetavana-Shravasti. The book is about this place.

This a book about the Buddhist pilgrimage near my house. It's a dry and repeated book. It's written like a text book, that's what I disgusted a lot. Still, I won't say it's just a garbage, for anyone who is interested about the place where Buddha spent most of his retreats and gave most of his sermons, this will be a good one to read.
