They say Brogan Creed is a corporate death wish to those that capture his interest. The Grim Reaper in the flesh and cloaked in a stylish suit. Ironically enough, the city that loves no one and nothing covet him like some type of mythical God. The nicknames for him prove as much too.

His relevance in my life wasn’t a factor until I found myself at the opposite end of his boardroom. On his territory. Governed by his rules.
Those eyes, though… I felt them watching me, stalking me, intruding. Is that even a thing? Unique and intriguing and familiar in a way that makes no sense at all.
Call me crazy, but I know this man is destined to alter my life. Little did I know just how profound my instincts truly were. My life will never be the same, ever.

Is it natural to want to toss a perfectly peaceful southern girl from a high-rise building? Maybe… My thoughts are wicked, and let’s be honest here; It’s not out of my character to think such things.
Spoiler alert… Those allegations that I’m a business bastard with crippling corporate follow-through aren’t just rumors. Those are simple facts.
But Brealyn’s silent thoughts are delivering a brutal message, ball bat style. A sweet, southern accent that haunts. Her opinions of me were shared inside my mind like an emergency broadcast for the hearing impaired.
This woman doesn’t belong in my boardroom. She doesn’t fit in here at The House of Creed. Quite frankly, this lady doesn’t belong in my hateful city period. She’s destined to become another New York statistic. And I feel obligated to save this beautiful butterfly caught up in my hailstorm.

This book is so good, a forbidden love story mixed with a little fantasy, the perfect recipe to become an unforgettable one.
Brogan Creed is a man of his own league, powerful, dominating, a force of nature, he's the Wall Street God! He also has a lot of "gifts" that make him a Lone Walker.
Brealyn is a sweet but strong girl who falls in love with the perfect but wrong man. I liked her a lot, she's the opposite of Brogan's ruthless way of being.
I need the second book now, the cliffhanger made me a frustrated woman, that's why I gave this story only 4 stars!!🙄 And I hate Channing so much!!!
I can't wait to see what happens next and what Brogan will do to be with his soulmate.

This book knocked me on my bum. I was not expecting how well it was crafted or how intriguing the story would be. I was captivated by Brogan and trying to figure out "what" exactly he was. I still am not entirely sure. I loved how he could read thoughts. At first I thought he was a vampire. But as the story progressed and I saw his brother Channing was like him, in a manner of speaking, but different, I knew he was more like a Demi God.
Fantastic, nail biting suspense, intriguing characters, and mystery kept me on the edge of my seat in this slow burn romance. I'm not the biggest fan of paranormal romance, however, if it was like this book, I would be. I'm anxious to see what happens next.

“A faith to live by determined a righteous path. Choose your footfalls wisely”. This set the tone for the beginning of this series. Does love disintegrate? Once you feel it’s draw, can it stop? Brogan is the devastatingly handsome Wallstreet God. He never anticipated the sweet Southern beauty would overtake him.

I really tried with this book ..I really wanted to love it because the premise of the story was different and interesting and it was a new to me author but there were too many typos..misspelled words...too repetitive..very immature dialogue and for the love of everything holy ..can we give the Virgin trope a rest!!! The heroine is in her mid 20’s FFS...ugh!!! I tried to look past all the technical issues but the writing wasn’t strong enough for me to get invested in anything that was happening.

Did not know what to expect when I started this book but I am in love with the Creed men. They both just so hard. There are some twists of the unnatural kind but I am there for it. There is a second book Seed of Sin and I am reading it after this one. Just know I loved this book

Well here I am again. I've taken a dive into this Author and am loving every minute.
I can't believe that I actually cried while reading this book, a 1st for me.
I can't wait to start the next one.
