Kali Meditation Book III Chamunda Sadhana: Daily Practices for the Oldest Form of Ma Kali as Worshipped in the Kathmandu Valley

Rate this book
Ma Chamunda is the oldest form of the goddess Kali. Skeletal in appearance, frightening to many, yet she exists as the Divine Tantric Mother who teaches us, protects us, guides us, and nurtures us. She is the force that brings us into existence at birth and calls us home when our time has come. She is worshipped in both Northern and Southern India, and especially in the Kathmandu Valley of Nepal. This volume is dedicated to Chamunda the Mother in her many forms. It presents her stories, her symbolism, and several practices for her devotion. It is the product of more than ten years of research, devotion, pilgrimage, and direct teaching. This book includes practices from traditional yoga, meditations from some of the earliest Tantric scriptures, methods of puja (devotional practice), and practical applications for all aspects of one's life. The practices contained in this volume are suitable for seekers of all ages and backgrounds, for beginners and experts alike, for the solitary devotee, and groups both large and small.
