Don't even know where to start. The story started off with a sex scene. I got past that. He's 25 , 3 years out of college and has built an empire and is a billionaire?? When Andre comes in again in the second chapter comes across as arrogant and a total jerk. Nothing about him to like. The h wants to get away from her rich family and goes to work at a farm/ranch. Andre goes for a month and meets up with her. After less then a week he's changed his whole outlook on life. I found it hard to believe someone like him could change that fast. By 25% in I was checking how much was left to read.
The wording was off. Just and example: "Royal blue jeans" are called dark washed. "The last moment you danced right down to the moment" Sorry too much didn't work for me Good story idea, just not carried out very well. I've read other things by this author and really enjoyed them Don't know what happened this time.

The blurb was so misleading. Some of what the blurb states did not happen. This books was not what I thought it would be. It moved slow. There was not real excitement in the book. Her family was mean and only cared about money. Nobody went looking for her when she left. He brother was verbally abusive. Andre left his job for a month and when did he ever check in if he was the owner. There was no internet access but come on this is 2020. She knew what was wrong with her. I do not believe she did not know when her body was changing. This book had me wanting to stop reading it but I finished by skipping a lot of the inner dialogue.
It's like a hallmark movie. It wasn't what I look for when it comes to ultra rich man love story. Lily and Andre were both kind of full of themselves and never really had problems besides Lily's relationship to her family who were even more selfish. It's full of lots of fluff and no real problems besides angst and misunderstanding. Biggest issues: Most are petty and not really big just my opinion
I Loved Lillian and Andre's story and so glad they got a second chance at love. He was her brother's best friend and her childhood crush but according to her family he was forbidden. Her family was wealthy, successful in business but ruthless and unkind. She was different from them and longed to get away. She graduated from business school but refused to go into business with them. She enjoyed her job working as a barista in a local coffee shop even though it embarrassed her brother. Fate brings her and Andre back together at Rosemary Farm where they reconnect. They have both changed so things aren't that smooth and she ends up with another broken heart. This book is well-written but will take you on an emotional roller coaster. The drama is intense at times. The characters are well-defined and likable and truly made for each other. This book will keep you page turning as you get caught up in their lives, secrets and their undying love. No spoiler here but do they have their ever after love together? The book does not have a cliffhanger. I read a free book via Booksprout and voluntarily chose to review it. you will enjoy this one.
Lilly grew up rich but her family wasn’t very kind. Instead of using her business degree so works, at a farm/resort. Andre was her brother’s friend, her prom date and crush, now a billionaire in need a break. They bump into each other on the farm and sparks fly. When she discovers she is pregnant will she tell him? Fast-paced read with loads of drama, suspense and steam. Great characters with lots of depth and an entertaining story. I liked it.
This storyline had me from the start it has a brother’s best, a secret pregnancy and a runaway lover. The characters are well developed and engaging and the storyline was a hit for me from beginning to the end.

Tired of being forced to join the family business lilian packed her bags and left her parent's house to get a life of her own. That life included running into Andre and falljng head over heels. It is never easy but it works its way tbrough.
I was given an arc in return for my honest opinion
Looking for a sweet and steamy second chance read then look no farther, this book had it all. Lillian and Andre were high school sweethearts that were great together but when it came time for Lily to decide on her future, she knew she never wanted to be a New York socialite only chasing money, she wanted more. After a hard breakup and years apart, she finds herself still not wanting to join her family in the rat race of business, so she decides to find her purpose. Andre finds himself surrounded by everything he has ever worked hard for money, success, women, but none of it is filling the emptiness he feels inside. He is out to find if he is just complacent or if he really is missing something more. When he arrives to Rosewood Farms, he never expects to see the girl he let go and regrets. Now he is out to make it his mission to win her back no matter what. These two have a chemistry that has lasted over the years and both full of regret at how things ended seem to want more but can Andre give up his life of luxury to make it work or can Lily trust him again to realize she is her own person capable of making her own choices? I enjoyed reading this book it was sweet, intense, and everything I enjoy reading about.
Lillian grew up in a wealthy family where their main job was to make more money... everyone! Absentee parents and an oppressive and verbally abusive brother has weighed heavily on her shoulders for years. Now a grown woman Lillian has gained the strength to stand on her own even though she is doing it from a gilded cage. I can imagine that it would be soul crushing to live in that atmosphere where money markets means more than family relationships. Fed up with their manipulative tactics Lillian takes matters into her own hands and flees her family and the city to find her bliss... Andre grew up with money. So much so that he embodied everything that Lillian despised. The love of money, arrogant, verbally abusive and entitled it is all due to his hard work right??? The more money he obtained the farther his life fit in with reality but with an overpriced lifestyle that placed more value on money than it did on being a compassionate, kind and caring individual. After a chance meeting these two reconnect through nature ... all organically with no technology to interfere in a cleansing they both needed in order to grow and mature to who they truly want to be. The level of maturation that took place in their story was admirable. It is not easy to look at yourself much less be honest with yourself when you see areas that need a serious overhaul. These two took the leap not for each other but for themselves and to be the best they could be for themselves and how they wanted to live their lives from that day forward. It was truly refreshing to see a solid couple who are willing to do what it takes and fight for what they truly and organically want without all of the trappings of money and gadgets just good ole nature and communication. This was a wonderful novel with all of the feels!

Enough room for growth This book is about Lillian and Andre. It was a heart-breaking and heart-warming story in almost equal measure. Lillian is a real outcast in her family. She is nothing like them, and wants so much more for her life, than to be a robot and join the family’s business, even if it would make her incredibly wealthy. Money cannot buy happiness though. Andre was her high school sweetheart and they were together for four years. Things did not end amicably for them, and Lillian’s heart was shattered when they broke up. Andre is also one of her obnoxious brother William’s best friends. He too is a rich and successful businessman that has worked hard for his fortune and all of his material things. But he finally feels like something in missing in his life. Lilly leaves her home with her family to work at Rosemary Farm. It’s a simpler life she’s after, and she’s hoping that is just the place to find herself, and do some real good in her life. She becomes quick friends with Anna, the daughter of the owners of the property. Lilly also loved the tiny and adorable house she was using as her temporary home. Lillian’s sense of accomplishment, even after just that very first day, warmed my heart and had me smiling form ear-to-ear! She LOVED being at the farm (even I felt how relaxed and seemingly at-home she felt), but her heart didn’t feel entirely full – what was missing? Andre’s friend Greg convinces him to go to Rosemary Farm to unwind and recalibrate – he does it himself every year. When he arrives at the farm, he questions himself about who on earth would pay to go to do farm work… him! As he walked into his tiny room, he’s shocked by the tiny room on offer, wondering where he’ll be able to set up for work – this of course defeats the entire purpose of his getaway! And he’s going to be stuck there for an entire month! He came across as a bit of a twat to me, at first. He was given his itinerary, and to kill some time, he decided to enjoy the meticulously maintained gardens. At this time, he had some out-of-character thoughts about the beauty of the place. I loved the way he described the sunset – “it looked like someone had melted one of my gold watches and threw the metal across the sky.” Lilly was in the stables, and she went to take the reins of a horse, the person standing behind the horse recognised her. It was Andre, asking Lilly if it was really her. They hadn’t talked since the night before she left for college, and after a bit of a catch-up, she surprisingly agrees to go to the square dance party in the barn with him. They still have an obvious attraction to each other, and the spark between them is still electric! He was overwhelmed with feelings for the woman who he’d let go once before. He thought she’d matured so well, with features making her look handmade – everything purposeful and exquisitely designed. Lilly too admitted that she’s falling hard and fast for him again. But last time she let him in, he left a jagged tear in her heart with the way things ended, and she was understandably scared to get hurt again. Nobody in her life (her family) thinks she has any value. She’s worthless? He was reassuring to her too, which she appreciated. She liked having him to talk to about it all. She kissed him deeply. And as she broke the kiss and walked back to her tiny home, he thought he stood in the dark with no fear, with no worry about what anyone thought of him. No material objects had mattered – not the cars, the houses, the money. He was too busy falling in love again. From this point, there are a lot of emotions, both good and bad, with highs and lows, love, passion, betrayal, doubt and hurt. Her feelings of self-worth (or lack thereof) really do stem mostly form her own family I think – they’re horrible to her! Even her brother - whom she used to be close with - was an absolute turd! But through all of the emotional upheaval and turmoil, Andre works hard to prove himself, by making some HUGE changes in his work and personal life. But with an additional and unexpected surprise, will she be willing to forgive him for running out on her again, and take what he has to offer? I wish this book didn’t have to end. I was enamoured by the characters and the journey they were on both together and apart. It made me want to go to Rosemary Farm – it sounded like such an idyllic place! I give this book four and a quarter simple stars. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
In this second chance romance, we see the rekindling of high school sweethearts Lillian and Andre as they find themselves again at Rosemary Farm. Both struggling with the isolating nature of the concrete jungle they know so well, they decide they need a break from the hustle and bustle of New York City and stumble across each other for a second time. Things had gone so wrong when they were younger, could this time be any different?
Lillian, born and raised in the city, has come to despise everything she knows. The wealth her family loves to flaunt, the greed and selfishness they harbor. Lillian isn't like them, and knows in her heart that her life is missing fresh air and freedom. After yet another fight with her brother William over her not joining the family's business, she takes a risk and travels four hours away to Rosemary Farm. There she comes across her ex Andre, looking so familiar yet so grown up too. The passion between the two feels as though no time had passed and they use this opportunity to learn new things about themselves and each other.
Billionaire's Secret Baby is a fast read, easy to get through and has a happy ending waiting in the conclusion. Overall enjoyable, but perhaps misleading at times. Based off the cover alone, I never would have assumed this book would take on more of a small country side romance versus the city aesthetic it portrays. Though Andre is a highly successful billionaire, it feels almost like an afterthought to the plot of the book. In fact, we never get much character development for him besides how he didn't know what he was missing in life until he rekindled with Lillian.
Definitely some insta-love vibes, though we know the two had some unfinished business when they were younger. Both characters, particularly Andre, were lacking depth and I found it hard to connect to them and their romance. Though mentioned several times throughout the book, we never got insight to their first relationship together other than some minor details such as an argument. I think some flashbacks to them in high school could have definitely solidified their love to something solid that could withstand time spent apart rather than the flimsy snapshot we got.
After reading, I was truly so shocked by this book that I had to go and reread the description. I thought I had somehow missed something, but no. This book was definitely advertised to be something much different. "He's forbidden, and I know he'll break my heart. I also know that if my brother comes to know he will break his nose." Not really forbidding but maybe more like they grew apart? And it's implied that one her brother's 'best friend' would beat Andre up if he hurt his sister, but his relationship with both characters is strained at best.
Again, if the cover and description were different, I think this book would have a much better time at reeling people in. It offers a second chance romance, country side, farm life, and pregnancy. I would give the book a shot, but I wouldn't let the description sway you too much. Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for my ARC in exchange for my honest review.
All He Needed Was Lilly and Some Fresh Air …. so why do hearts break?
Okay, we all know from the title that there is a baby in the picture. But what we don’t know is what leads up to the baby. Is hope lost? Is forgiveness even possible?
Rosemary Farms sounds like the perfect get away. All those rich, workaholic money grubbers have a lot to learn, and learn they do when they visit the farm. It’s simplicity at its best. It’s a place where money can’t buy favors. It’s a place where the wealthy learn that the dollar bill doesn’t bring peace, rest or fulfillment. And it doesn’t buy love❣️Lillian, or Lilly, knows that all too well.
Lilly lived her whole life with money hungry people. If you didn’t follow the family fortune, you were worthless. Ahhhh, but Lilly’s worth proved to be much more than feasting on the family’s almighty dollar. She finds herself at Rosemary Farms. And then there’s her ex, Andre. He’s one of those money grabbing, no bars hold man. He knows what he wants and no one better get in his way. Not even his four year girlfriend, Lilly. He finally sees the light but not before getting a rude awakening.
🤔 PONDERINGS AND OBSERVATIONS 👁
… In Chapter 7 Lilly opens up to Andre and reminds him of his harsh words to her the night they broke up in high school… It was prom night and they saw life very differently. Now, years later, she still remembers. He hurt her, his words were cruel that night, but where is his apology? It’s been six years and he knows the pain his words caused but, after her confession, he remains quiet. Tsk, tsk, Andre. What takes him so long to man up?
… Lillian: “That fight had broken my heart deeper than anything else ever had. I didn't think I could go through that again.”
… This definitely is slow burn, but the emotions and drama build as the book continues
… Ahhh, he has everything money can buy, so why is Andre so miserable?
… What on earth is going on with Will? Can he even get any colder? That boy sure needs a comeuppance. Yep, I said boy because he surely isn’t being a man. I wanted to see him learn a thing or two. What really caused his change from loving brother to an aloof, arrogant monster.
… Hmmm, I learned something here. Lilly sprayed lemon juice in her hair for highlights.

Billionaire’s Secret Baby : Brothers Best Friend Romance by Jennifer Hartley. This book is a romance with a lot of tropes. Some include second chance, brothers ex best friend, billionaire, and a secret pregnancy. Starting this book, I was really excited to see how this would work out. How a rich billionaire would come to a farm and work for free, hard labor at that. I wanted to enjoy this book, but it totally missed the mark for me. The story had quite a bit of problems from beginning to the end. For the most part, the storyline seemed pretty unrealistic—it's hard to believe that a young billionaire would just up and decide to work on a farm with no cell service or amenities that he is accustomed too . That whole setup felt like a stretch and made it tough for me to get into the story. I could not connect with the plot at all, poor rich boy wants a farm vacation, meets his ex, swears he’s changed but continues the same behavior . The main character’s shock at being pregnant felt ridiculous as well as a Dr saying she’s in great condition, but can’t tell she’s pregnant. The book also had a lot of errors—spelling mistakes, grammar issues, and some awkward phrasing. This entire storyline seems impossible with a man that has been down right horrendous to her on two incidents, telling her once that he didn’t want a waste of space freeloader, and the second time he betrayed her to her brother and told her to be with him she must go back to the family that treats her like dirt. He’s mega rich. and from going to a farm he’s now super boss, and has changed so much, and so shortly after their second break up. I don’t want to give spoilers so I will keep some more problems with the book out. I had very high hopes for this book buy it was horrible. It needs a complete overhaul, rewriting and removing points. This was definitely a no for me. I felt the book had potential and I liked some points, which is why it’s a 2 1/2 for me
ARC Review of Billionaire's Secret Baby by Jennifer Hartley * * * * * A surprise preganncy between a runaway rich girl wanting the simple life, and her brother's billionaire buddy who is searching for something he has been missing.
Lilly fled in the dead of night from her snobbish and neglectful family. One upon a time she believed she had someone who cared for her, now they were pushing her to become someone else. Someone she refuses to become. Fleeing to the farm was the best decision she ever made, she just did not expect the universe to throw her a curveball. Andre had everything. He owned a skyscraper and everything in it. He was rich. He was well connected. Yet something was missing. When a friend recommends stepping back from it all and going country out at a lovely little farm, his interest certainly perks when he sees Lily, sister of his friend and rivetting beauty. Sparks fly between them, and they are consumed by their desires, but they are both wanting different happy endings. Will they come to terms on what they want for each other...or will Lilly disappear from Andre's life carrying a secret?
An enjoyable read. Billionaire not really a bad boy, just a little lost and certainly smitten with Lilly. Maybe a little silly with some of the ideals he has which a old school, especially when it comes to Lilly's brother. Lilly has guts, knowing what she was leaving behind to persue her passion with nothing more than a bag and a plant. Thankfully her new home has great people who wish to take care of her. Happy ending. Steamy barn scene. Cool horses. Want to crash in one of the cabins!
Lillian/Lilly has grown up in a rich family and gotten a college degree in business but she never wanted that life so she left to work at a resort/farm in the country. She loved the simpler life on the farm and was happy to be away from her family’s insistence that she make more money for them. Andre was a billionaire who felt like he needed a break from the stress of his business and his friend told him about a resort in the country where you did some farm work but were able to relax with simple pleasures. When Andre and Lillian see each other there it turns out that Andre is a family friend and her former high school sweetheart who had broken up with her because he thought she was a freeloader after him for his money. They become closer during their weeks together. Will Andre leave when he realizes that Lillian will not return to her family business and the city? Will Lillian tell Andre when she finds out that she is pregnant? Can they find a way to a HEA?
I give this story 4.5 stars. I enjoyed this fun story with the rich city girl that longed for the country lifestyle and the rich city businessman who met each other again years after their high school relationship ended. The author did a great job presenting Lillian’s background and how she did not meet her rich family’s expectations. She wanted a simpler lifestyle and was happy in the country but was attracted to her former city boyfriend. The ending of their story and the epilogue were great.

What do you when your wealthy family is toxic? Your brother is driven by money and he's venomous snake and douche? And each day all he does is give you ultimatums? And you're nothing like your family, you run? Lillian wanted a different life than her family, one without the trappings of their wealth. She heard of Rosemary Farm where you can work the farm each day. Tourists flock to it each summer to work the farm to get away from their everyday lives. The farm gives them center in their hectic life or calm in the storm. Andre had been missing something in his life that he could not put his finger on. He had a mass billions, a successful company, featured on billboard, vacationed in many countries and had billions the bank put he didn't feel centered. He was stumped so he called his best friend. Greg recommended the Rosemary farm because he vacationed there every summer to help him feel centered. Andre was a little skeptic at first because of the dirt and grime, and let's face it who really pay to do farm work on their vacation. He was grumpy and mad when he got there until he run into Lillian his whole outlook on the place was change. It's like he did a one eighty on his behavior. Lillian was Andre's ex-girlfriend as well as her brother's friend. The two dated in high school until something was said that could not be taken back causing the broke up. Andre have been pining after Lillian for years, it doesn't matter whose he's with she was the one that not away. On the farm the lure, desirability is undeniable between these two. They spend every chance they get with each other. Their romance was a slow burn of rediscover. It was a delightful story the farm is truly magical.

I read an advanced copy of this book and am leaving a voluntary and honest review. My opinions are all my own.
I really enjoyed reading this book. High school romance that broke down followed by a few years of working and then re-acquaintance. Lillian and Andre were supposed to be the couple to be happy in business and marriage. But Lillian didn’t want the world of high finance, it wasn’t her. They had a nasty breakup. Lillian didn’t want any part of her family’s money or business. Then she ran away to work on a farm and found the fulfilment that she was looking for.
Andre was a huge success in the financial world. He had everything that he wanted, cars, women, expensive clothes and a very successful business but he had built from nothing. But he was still missing a part of himself and he didn’t know what it was, then he found the Rosemary Farm and Resort. While he was there he found Lillian as well. They picked up their romance again and fell in love again until things fell apart. What happens next will break your heart make you feel sorry for Lillian but also for Andre. Never fear there is a happy ending, but you will need to read the book yourself to discover these wonderful characters in the trials and tribulations they go through until they are together again.

Jennifer brings us a great second chance romance about Lillian and Andre who were once high school sweet hearts until differences came between them. Lillian was brought up in a family who was well off and had their own business so when she graduated, they expected her to jump right into same path as them. Lillian wanted nothing to do with this life so she escapes to a farm in the country because she wanted a more laid-back simple life. Once she gets there, she finds out she really loves it and the people there are super sweet and treat her better than her own family. Andre also has plenty of money but decides he needs a break from all the stress so when someone mentions Rosemary farms as a getaway, he decides it sounds like a good idea. He never expected to run in to Lillian. When they meet the old feelings start to stir. Will they find their way back together or will her family interfere and keep them apart? There is plenty of drama along with some steamy moments and a surprise along the way. It was well written and Jennifer always knows how to keep you turning the pages.

Andre and Lillian were high school sweethearts that went their separate ways after graduation. Andre is also the best friend of Lillian’s brother.
Now that the main characters are grown, they have been reunited at a ranch getaway retreat. They are both trying to escape their lives and the daily struggles they encounter. Andre with his job, Lillian with her demanding brother and absent parents.
Overall, this book was just okay. The relationship between the main characters felt forced. The way that the FMC was treated by her family was just gross.
The situations in the book were just a little hard to believe, she even went to the doctor when she felt sick and he told her that she was in perfect health. Every woman knows that the first thing every single doctor does to females is make them take a pregnancy test. 🙄
No cheating or OW/OM drama, slight third act breakup but resolved in the end for a happily-for-now.
Thank you to NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this title.
3 and 1/s star... Lillian had privileged life. She graduated from college and she was trying to figure out what she wanted to do with her life. She felt she was trapped in the penthouse and waiting for an opportunity to escape and find her true calling. She was being pressured by her brother to join family's company but she was reluctant to join and wanted to escape. So one night she packed her bags and left a simple life in the farm. Andre was young billionaire who had everything but seem he is missing something from his life. When his good friend offered an month at a farm, he wasn't really excited but he wanted to get away from it all. Farm life is not easy, but having freedom from her family meant everything to Lillian. When she saw a new client, she never thought she would meet her ex-boyfriend Andre. They were young in love but they couldn't do long distance relationship so they decided to part ways and it didn't leave great feelings to Lillian. Now he is back looking better than ever. Andre didn't like the simple life at the farm at first but seeing Lilli again brought many feelings back and he was willing to try again. However, before they tried their second chance, Andre left in a hurry and Lilli was pregnant. What will happen to Lilli and the baby? Will Andre come back for both or is Lilli too strong willed to take care of her baby on her own. Story was sweet yet it seems it, but it's missing some key story lines. It felt a bit short. I enjoy reading secret baby trope but this one felt just bit short. It was short and easy to read.

I really enjoyed reading Billionaire's Secret Baby by Jennifer Hartley because it was such a steamy romance book about Lillian and Andre. They had dated when they were in high school and had a falling out after she graduated. Andre was best friends with Lillian's brother William. Lillian's family was not kind to her at all. She saw an opportunity to leave and make her own mark on the world. She started working on a farm, it was hard work but she enjoyed it and the people who owned the farm, became her family. Andre needed to reset himself and decided to go relax on a farm at the suggestion of his friend. He meets up with Lillian again and the sparks fly between them again. I really loved reading their story. I hoped that it would work out for them. I didn't like her family at all. I loved her farm family so much. They treated her better than her biological family. I highly recommend reading this book. It is steamy and romantic and it is fantastic!!

This is a love story of a brother's best friend and a sister that has been shielded all of her life and kept away from things. She has always had a crush on him. He became a Billionaire and he could have anything he wants or anyone. Well, he wants her. She got her degree in business but that is not what she wants. She wants a simple way of life so moves to a farm to getaway. He went for a getaway and guess who he ran into. His high school flame. Things get heated up and he wants his friend's blessing which does not happen and when she finds out she gets mad and sends him away. Not even realizing she is pregnant. Do these two end up with a HEA or are they doomed to never be happy with the one that they love. There is romance, intense drama, ups and downs that will have you realing, steamy times, heartache. I can't wait to read more from this series to see what develops. No cliffhanger here.

This was a cute book about a second chance. The characters are both from wealthy families and while Lillian has figured out that she is content with a "less is more" lifestyle, Andre needs a little convincing. But when it comes to falling in love, it can be pretty enlightening on what people are willing to do. After a big blow out where Lily thinks that Andre was all talk and didn't really learn anything, he storms off, presumably writing her off. Leaving her behind with a pretty big secret.
Overall I liked the characters and the premise of the story. Some aspects were a little over the top, but that's what makes a good fantasy! And I have to say that living the farm life through the eyes of these characters makes me want to take a disconnected vacation! I liked the book and would definitely recommend.

This story had me entertained for the most part. It was a quick read which is great if you just want something for a flight or a long road trip. There is a bit of the miscommunication trope but I didn’t mind it. I felt like the part where the FMC didn’t even consider she would be pregnant until she had a pretty big belly was not believable. I understand that some women go through a whole pregnancy without symptoms until they give birth but she had all the symptoms. If I knew that the guy I hooked up with came in me and I started feeling a bit sick, my mind would immediately go to pregnancy. Also, I feel like the blurb and this story don’t match. It says that this is a brother’s best friend but they were not really best friends and the brother wasn’t involved.
I would recommend for everyone to try this book. I wouldn’t consider this a favorite but it is worth reading.

Their lives revolve all around money and she just wants more. Lillian and Andre have a history with him being her brothers friend and as involved with money as her family. They fall in love but she feels a betrayal by him. He not only leaves the woman he loves, but he unknowingly leaves her pregnant. When they get another chance Andre will have to convince her that she and their child are the most important things to him. Lillian will have to decide if she can trust him with her heart again. They both have a lot to work thru to find a happy ending

I absolutely loved this book! It had all the elements I look for in a romance novel - second chance love, a forbidden romance with the brother's best friend, and an accidental pregnancy thrown into the mix. The steamy scenes were hot and passionate, adding an extra layer of intensity to the story.
The setting on a family farm added a cozy and charming atmosphere to the book, and the likeable secondary characters brought even more depth to the story. I found myself rooting for the main characters to overcome their obstacles and find their happily ever after.
While I thoroughly enjoyed this book, I did find some parts of the plot to be a bit predictable. However, the heartwarming moments and sweet ending more than made up for it. Overall, I would give this book 4 out of 5 stars. It's a fun and engaging read that will leave you feeling satisfied and happy.
A Lesson In True Love, Determination And Strength - This is a wonderful story about getting a second chance at love, when it was least expected. Lillian grew up in the midst of wealth, but she always felt like the oddball for liking the simple things out of life and wanting to work in a low paid job. Andre grew up in the midst of wealth too, but after meeting Lillian again, realised his life was unfulfilled. It would take a misunderstanding, revamping their lives and a little surprise, for these two to get their lives to where they want it to be. Andre and Lillian’s journey is worth reading about, so I urge you to pickup your copy of this book today.
