Wells Brothers #3

The Cowboy’s Second Chance Family

Rate this book
Avery Collins is stunned when her ex, Tucker Wells, stumbles through her door during a snowstorm, pretending ten years haven’t gone by since he broke her heart. Tucker was the love of her life—and the father of their daughter, Shanna—and now he’s claiming amnesia. Well, Avery’s not buying it. At least not at first. What happened to the man who said he didn’t want children, who told her becoming a veterinarian would be a huge mistake? This Tucker is bonding with Shanna and praising Avery’s practice. He’s acting like a better, nicer, sexier version of the boy she once loved. As Shanna’s father, Tucker is definitely back in Avery’s life. But would it be so bad to let him back into her heart?

After years traveling the world as a photographer, Tucker wants to settle down and finally do his part on the family ranch. Though his mind is a bit muddled after falling from his horse, he’s thinking clearly enough to know two things: He’s still in love with Avery and he wants to get to know the daughter he’s just discovered he has. It’s clear, though, that Avery is more than a little wary of him—and for good reason: the story she tells of their breakup definitely paints him as a villain. He might not remember breaking her heart, but Tucker is determined to do what he can to make up for lost time. Yet the harder he tries, the more Avery pushes him away. If only he could remember what made him leave her all those years ago, then maybe he could find his way back to her now…

This is a Cowboy Romance, and this is the third book in the Wells Brothers Series. I have read and review the other books in this series. This ones is my favorite one by far. This is a short book just over 100 pages, but there is so much packed in those pages. This is a fast pace well written book. I am so glad I picked up this series. This book is about Tucker Wells and Avery Collins finding their love for each other again. They dated in High School, but they broke up and both of them still love each other. This book as so much drama and it is so sweet as well. I love all the characters. I wish that this book had some of the other brothers in it a little bit more. I was kindly provided an e-copy of this book by the publisher (Relay Publishing) or author (Leslie North) via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review about how I feel about this book, and I want to send a big Thank you to them for that.

I adore a good second chance romance, and this is a couple that badly needed to start over again. I liked the way the author gave them the opportunity to “reset” with Tucker’s head injury and amnesia. This story does contain a couple of themes that I don’t like as much in romance; I’m not going to go into that in any depth because at least one of them goes deep into spoiler territory. I loved Shanna. She is an element of pure joy in this book. Her parents, on the other hand, left me quite frustrated. Both Tucker and Avery want what they think they can’t have anymore and they’re pretty busy protecting their own hearts. Avery, especially, is so deep in her defences that she seems willing to cut off her nose to spite her face in order to avoid getting hurt again. I thought the ending was absolutely adorable and I enjoyed the story overall. I’ve really liked getting to know the Wells brothers and I’m sad to say “goodbye” to them now.

After years of combining his love of traveling and photography he finds Tucker finds back in his hometown and helping out at the family ranch. An accident leaves him injured with temporary amnesia at the door of the girl whose heart he broke a decade earlier when he left her and his hometown behind.

Avery has created a new life for herself as a single mother and she is now a vet on the brink of owning her own clinic. She doesn’t need the complications and heartbreak that having Tucker in her life brings so she will help him heal and send him on his way. The only problem with that plan is that when he wants a second chance with her and her daughter will he be able to prove he is not the same man who left her or is the pain of the past too much to overcome?

Tucker is a knucklehead. He shows up on his former love's doorstep with amnesia and can't understand why she isn't thrilled. Avery was dumped by Tucker but left with a constant reminder of him, their daughter Shanna. I thought the chemistry was good between the two and Shanna was cute. The best part was the sign, an important connection from the past that's helps with the new healing of the present. It's a good read for all cowboy romance lovers. Thanks to NetGalley and Relay Publishing for the advance copy in exchange for my review.

Misty's Corner Review :

I enjoyed the first two books in this series, so, naturally, I read book three featuring the youngest of the Well’s brothers, Tucker! I found the blurb intriguing; amnesia, lost love, and second chances. For the most part, this was an entertaining and fun read. I did find the end a bit frustrating, though, the abrupt problem with the quick resolution. The love story was a bit awkward at times, but it had its moments. The sweet redeeming quality, for me, was when Shanna discovered her father Tucker and their shared love of photography... and her cousin Joey!

You can read this book as a standalone; it was a quick read between thrillers. Many thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for my complimentary copy. I have honestly and voluntarily reviewed this title.

Thanks for reading!

This is sweet second chance romance with a dash of spice and a few unexpected twists. Tucker and Avery were teenage lovers who broke up over ten years ago, leaving her alone and pregnant and both of them heartbroken. He became a professional photographer who roamed the world on assignment, while she became a veterinarian and a mother. Now both are back in their hometown, and are at a crossroad in their lives. He has retired from roaming the world and is ready to settle down near his family. Avery has just bought the vet clinic in town from the retiring veterinarian and hopes to create a financially stable life for herself and her daughter. An accident, Tucker’s bout of amnesia and a snow storm give the two former lovers a chance to meet again. He doesn’t remember their breakup or the reasons behind it, and still feels the love he carries in his heart for her. She remembers what happened between them and all the years after when she was alone, struggling to complete her education and raise their daughter. Yet, she can’t turn him away when he needs first aid and shelter from the storm. Gradually regaining his memory and discovering he had a daughter has Tucker in a turmoil. Only one thing is clear....her will do anything to win back Avery’s love and to be in her and their daughter’s lives. The pain and disappointment from the past are hard to release, and new missteps and decisions threaten to part them again. Is a happily ever after really possible for them?

I admire Avery’s strength of will, grit and determination. She raised her daughter alone, and still completed her veterinary education. She is also willing to give love a second chance, which makes her brave, good-hearted and forgiving. Tucker was harder to like at first, but the conclusion of the story sheds some light on their past breakup and the reasons behind it. He had good intentions, but he totally screwed everything up. They are deserving of their second chance.

Brother Tucker is the hero of the third book in Leslie North's Wells Brothers Trilogy. This is a quick second chance romance.

A confused Tucker Wells appears on Avery Collins's front door in the middle of a snowstorm that is generating white out conditions. Thrown from his horse, he's suffering a pretty good bump on the head that has taken away the last ten years of his memory. He doesn't remember having broken up with Avery right after high school graduation. Avery has recently returned to town to start a Veterinary Clinic and she's living with her ten-year-old daughter, Shanna. Avery is suspicious. Has Tucker really lost his memory? Or is he faking it because he wants something? Avery doesn't trust him and she's harboring deep hurt that Tucker's doesn't remember having caused. But she is also harboring a huge secret and she doesn't feel much like revealing it now. (I have to say the "oops I've kept a "certain secret" from you for really long time" story isn't normally my thing. There is no excuse for deliberately withholding this sort of info, imo. But I really liked Tucker.)

As Tucker gains his memory over the course of a week or two of the action of the story, old hurts have to be forgiven for Avery and Tucker to be happy. In the end, I just don't like the prickly Avery as much as I like Tucker. And I really didn't like how Avery didn't apologize to Tucker for keeping that secret from him. That's got to be one of my pet peeves about this trope. Too often, the apologies --- and groveling -- are one-sided. I was hoping for more.

A heartwarming HEA & a nice hero elevates this to a 3 star read.

I had not read the first two books in this series (The Rancher's City Girl and The Cowboy's Baby Agreement) so I read both of them quickly before I settled into The Cowboy's Second Chance Family. It's not totally necessary to read the others first, but those characters are mentioned a handful of times in this book so I'm glad I did.

Like the first two books in this Wells Brothers series, The Cowboy's Second Chance Family is a quick read. Each of them only took me about two hours each to read. I feel like I liked this book the best for some reason, but honestly - I liked all of them. They each had a little tension, a little romance and a lot of life thrown in together.

There are three Wells brothers and two of them get married off in the first two books. So this book is about the remaining brother, Tucker. He is a photographer who travels the world, but he came home for one of his brother's wedding so he is spending some time relaxing. While home, he decided to help his brothers with the ranch chores and he ended up getting hurt during a snowstorm and coming down with amnesia. He stumbled to the vet's home and he was totally surprised to find out that the vet had retired, but Tucker's own high school sweetheart, Avery, had purchased his practice and now lived there. She let him in reluctantly, but he could tell that she was really mad at him - and he didn't know why.

Slowly Tucker begins to recover his memory allowing Tucker & Avery some much needed closure. This is a sweet story that I really enjoyed.

I was provided this book in exchange for an honest review. The opinions stated above are mine without biases.

Liam had no one else to send out to check on the cattle, so Tucker offered, even though a snowstorm was imminent. The cows probably hadn’t gotten out of the pasture, but there was always a chance a part of the fence had been knocked down. Now that he was probably going to stay here on the ranch, he needed to do his share of the work. Suddenly his horse took a wrong step and he was thrown as everything around him went black. He was confused when he woke up. His horse was lame, so he walked until he found a farmhouse. He remembered it was the old veterinarian’s house. He put his horse in the barn and went to knock on the door. Dr. Oates was more than likely home. He would warm up and then head back… but to where? A girl answered the door who looked like his girlfriend, Avery Collins!

Avery and Tucker had broken up 10 years ago as Tucker pursued a career. He left Avery alone and pregnant, having told her he didn't want a wife or children. Avery had purchased the veterinarian’s home and took over the business when he retired. Avery sees that Tucker is bleeding from his head and appears to have amnesia. Will she try to tell him about their daughter? Will she ever want him back in her life?

4 1/2 STARS!!

I am a huge Leslie North fan and this one didn’t disappoint. This is the final book in the Wells series but you can easily read it on its own as I did.

Tucker spent years traveling for his work as a photographer. Now he is back home and helping out on the family ranch. An accident in the middle of a storm leaves him with amnesia and seeking shelter from the woman whose heart he shatter years before.

Avery loved Tucker when they were younger but when he left her behind it left her shattered. Now he is back and doesn’t remember anything from before. He wants a second with her and the daughter he didn’t know they had created.

I will say that Avery frustrated me at times because she was so lost in her hurt and pain that she refused to see the gift of a second chance it seemed.

I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review. This review was originally posted on Wickedly Romance

Tucker Wells told Avery Collins he was suffering from amnesia after being thrown off his horse when he knocked on Avery's door during a snow storm. He didn't remember the ten years they have been apart. They were high school sweethearts. Now Tucker wants to get back together with Avery. How Avery and Tucker find their HEA after ten long years apart makes for a very enjoyable read. This book, The Cowboy's Second Chance Family by Leslie North is the third book in this author's Wells Brother's series. Readers who like to read second chance romance stories will enjoy this story.

Detailed review to come. I just finished the book at 5am in the morning. I completely regret reading this book. This is not the first Leslie North book I've read. I've read others, but they always left me feeling unsatisfied or frustrated. This book was the last straw. I don't think I will read her books anymore or putting her on pause.

What got me so angry? A scene toward the end of the book. The zero begs the heroine to renew their relationship after he cruelly broke up with her ten years ago. He begs her again and again. The heroine is rightly hesitant. But she gives in. They have sex. The next day, the zero packs up and leave. He said he couldn't be with her because "You haven’t told me something, and I can’t—I can’t do this if you’re going to keep it from me." (The book starts with him having amnesia and not remembering how they broke up). BUT the heroine tells him everything. He broke up with her not because he thinks she lied (she didn't), but because he feels guilty about something but don't know why. He literally broke her heart again. He also just found out they had a daughter so he left her too without warning. He goes back to the city to takes pictures because he is a photographer. Eventually he starts to remember. He remembered that he broke up with her years ago because he loved her and wanted her to follow her dreams. BULLSHIT. He was not celibate during those ten years. He never once reached out to her or found out what she was doing, even when he decided to retire and go back home. If that is what his love entails, it's not worth much. But my main problem was the writing, where was the plot flow. He tells her he wants to start over with her and be a family with her and their daughter and literally the next page he breaks up with her saying he can't have a family with his amnesia. I had to read it again thinking there was some missing pages. This is my frustration with this author. Some of her other books were like that. The conflict comes out of nowhere and doesn't feel fully resolved.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Avery Collins and we get Tucker Wells story. When this book opens we find that Tucker is still home on the family ranch and they need help with some missing calves. After years of traveling as a photographer he wants to settle down like his brothers have but he just hasn't found the person to do it with. Well he knew he found her once but would she ever take him back again. After finding the cattle and a snow storm rolls in he is thrown from his horse. The closest place he can find is old doc Oats place. The thing is it is no longer doc Oats place it is now Avery's but he can't figure out why she looks older and why something between them doesn't seem right. Avery can't believe the man who shows up on her doorstep is none other than her high school boyfriend. The one man she never thought she would ever see again. The same man that said he didn't want a wife or family. Well he has a family but her daughter doesn't know her father and he doesn't know about her. Now with his claim of amnesia will that all change? Will these two find a HEA or will the sins of the past make a future impossible?

This is another amazing hit by this author. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin the story for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Getting a second chance with a knock at the door

The Cowboy’s Second Chance Family is the third book in the Wells Brothers series. This is the story of the last brother, Tucker Wells, and Avery Collins. It is a sweet and entertaining second chance story. Tucker and Avery had been high school sweethearts until he broke up with her to follow his dream, leaving her behind. He went off to become a photographer and travel the world, which he did. But he left a little peanut of himself behind which Avery never told him about. Instead she has a beautiful baby girl, Shanna, and went to school becoming a vet. Recently she moved back to their home town and took over the old vet clinic with now ten year old Shanna. Tucker has also come back home and when he is injured and a storm is upon him he seeks out a safe place for him to take shelter, for both him and his horse. What he finds when he knocks on the door of the old vet clinic is a lot more than he ever would have dreamed. But Avery is wary, after all he did up and leave her brokenhearted once before.
This is a quick and charming story about second chances showing up on your doorstep when you least expect it. The story-line was good and the characters were very likeable. Overall this is my favorite Wells Brother's story in the series.

I received a copy of this book and am leaving my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

Temporary Amnesia to a Forever Second Chance! This is about Tucker and Avery. Tucker is back home and helping on the ranch when he goes out to round up the herd and his horse is spooked, and he falls off hitting his head. He then walks to the next house over remembering that it belongs to the town vet. This is where the story takes off as he hasn’t been home for 10 years.

Well when the door is open, he sees a younger version of his girlfriend (or so he thought) until he sees her and thinks “why has she aged”. Amnesia from the fall, of course it is only temporary, but he has to remember what happen between them because Avery is angry. The younger version is Shanna, who is Avery’s daughter and his but he doesn’t know it. Avery realizes that he fell off his horse when she sees his injury to the head, so plays along for a bit, but now they are stuck there as a snowstorm won’t allow them to go anywhere. There is an immediate connection between him and Shanna and Avery fears he is going to figure it out but is also confused at how he is with her being that she recalls him not wanting to be tied down. The story gets good and don’t worry she does tell him who Shanna is pretty early in the story, its what happens later that makes this story great!

Tucker came home to the ranch for his brothers wedding and is thinking he may stay and be a partner and help run it. With one Ranch hand down, with a broken leg, Tucker first big duty was to bring in cattle that has wondered off. While out looking for them, a snow storm developed and after finding them and head back to the barn, Tucker was thrown from his horse and hit his head. He wondered on to the veterinarian ranch and who does he see is Avery his ex girlfriend and is wondering why she there and not living with her parents and why does she look older.
Avery and Tucker broke up 10 years ago, right after graduation, Tucker left town to except an intership in a photographer program, and left Avery all alone and pregnant. Before he left Tucker told her he didn't want a wife or have children. Avery is now an veterinarian and has bought the old vet's home and business when he retired. When Tucker arrived at her door thinking it was the old vet's house, Avery notice Tucker was bleeding and had bump on his head and now he has amnesia and lost ten years of memories. Will Avery ever forgive Tucker for leaving her, when she really needed him and should she tell him he has daughter, and will Tucker ever get his memories back and remember the fight he had with Avery, which may change their lives forever.

Tucker and Avery were high school sweethearts but all their dreams and hopes for the future came to an end when Tucker broke up with her, telling her he didn’t want to be tied down to a wife and family. He wanted to travel and realize his dream of being a photographer. He left her broken hearted, and she never told him she was pregnant the night he broke her heart. Now 10 years later, Tucker is back on the ranch with his brothers. When he is sent out to bring in a small herd before the winter storm hits, he is thrown from his horse and receives a nasty bump on his head. By this time the storm has hit and he wanders to the old vet’s place looking for shelter for his horse and himself. Only it isn’t the old vet that opens the door, but rather a little girl who reminds him of his former girlfriend, Avery. He’s confused and then Avery comes to the door and she is still so beautiful but looks older. The bump on his head leaves him with a loss of memory for the past 10 years. An entertaining and heartwarming storyline with wonderful characters that steal your heart. Tucker’s 10 yr memory loss takes a jolt when he discovers Avery’s daughter is his. An emotional read with past heartbreak, rekindling a love that never died, unexpected parenthood, and new beginnings. I loved this book

Tucker and Avery were high school sweethearts ten years ago. Showing up on her doorstep now in the middle of a blizzard she thinks he is playing a game with her, for he broke her heart ten years ago when he told her they were through. He went on to travel the world as a photographer she stayed and raised their daughter who he did not know about. She also worked her way through putting herself through school to be a veterinarian.
Listening to him speak she realizes he does have amnesia but at the same time, she is not cutting him ant slack, for she thought they would be together forever and he blew it years ago. When he finally comes out of his stupor, she tells him what happen back then, though he is upset with himself he is happy that he has a daughter. Avery though as much as she still loves him is expecting him to take off again and he does again just as everyone was getting close and thinking they may work it out. Now, what will happen?
Read this really good story that will keep you going from one page to the next and you don’t have a clue what will happen. I found this to be one of her better stories. I really liked it and the characters. I received this book from Netgalley.com I gave it 5 stars. Follow us at

This was the third and final book in the Wells Brothers Series. Tucker returned home for Liam's wedding, and now Tucker has no desire to return to his traveling career as a photographer. He has watched his brothers with their families, and he wants that now. Being on the road all the time a family would be difficult to manage. Tucker's decision to stay on the ranch resulted in him working the ranch too. He had to go out one evening late in the snow searching for cattle, where he fell off his horse, hitting his head, getting amnesia, but only missing the last ten years, and showed in at his ex-girlfriend's house with her daughter. Tucker could not understand what what was going on. He still felt the same way about Avery as he did in high school. Tucker was not great at communication, he wanted to go ahead and do things and tell you about them later. As a couple that does not work, so it takes Tucker a while to figure his life out. This was an interesting read and Avery showed great love, patience, and forgiveness with Tucker.

Tucker and Avery were so close in high school, but Tucker left for photography school right after and left her there, broken hearted. Ten years later, she finds Tucker at her door, bleeding from hitting his head after his horse spooked and dropped him. She has become a veterinarian and has a practice next to the ranch his family owns. Head injury = amnesia. He slowly pieces together his memories, his heart, his relationship with Avery and her daughter while helping set up the vet clinic. Avery is worried he will leave again once his memory comes back so she is keeping her feelings somewhat closed to protect herself from heartbreak again. The characters are terrific and the backstories that come with the memories coming back was unique and fun. The tension of those memories coming up with why he did what he did scares both of them. So much good is in their lives right now, but waiting for those final memories to hit puts a downer on things. The outcome of the ending was very heartwarming and gave me huge tears and smiles.

During a snowstorm, Tucker stumble in the doorstep of his ex Avery the one woman he love, but when she saw him,she got stunned because after ten long years she saw him again and all the anger, pain and heartache he caused came back again but he didnt remember about that when he hit his head when he fall out of his horse during the storm.Hes claiming he have Amnesia and she doesnt know what happened and the Daughter he didnt know about.. But would it be so bad to let him back into her heart? when i told him my secret.. Tucker is determined to do what he can to make up for lost time but Avery is not convince, afraid because is not only my heart is at stake but her Daughter too..the harder he tries, the more Avery pushes him away. If only he could remember what made him leave her all those years ago, then maybe he could find his way back to her now…

The books in this series are each sweet, steamy, and drama filled romances with a lot of heat and smouldering sexiness. They are well written, entertaining with great characters and a whole lot of chemistry. Really loved this series and this is my favourite of 2020 by this amazing author. Couldn’t put it down and wanted to re-read the whole series all over again. Loved the main characters, they really brought the story to life and keep me turning the pages right till the very end. Who needs sleep anyway lol I also loved that we got to fall more in love with the characters from the first two books. I’m a really big fan of this author as you can probably tell but this has to be my favourite of 2020. This author just brings her stories to life, like your there with her characters as they go on a journey to get their HEA. This has me coming back for more every single time. So if you read anything this year, it should be a Leslie north story. Go grab your copy today. Happy reading everyone!!

This book brings us Avery, Tucker and Shanna. Avery and Tucker were high school sweethearts. They thought they had everything planned out. However, they both had different dreams, and Tucker left, thinking he was doing the right thing. Tucker also told Avery that he didn't want a family, so she never told him about Shanna. Now it is ten years later, and Tucker has an accident, and has amnesia. Avery doesn't believe him at first, but the more time they spend together, she realizes that he has lost his memory. With a snow out, Tucker has no choice but to stay with Avery and Shanna. He gets along right away with Shanna and Avery is very conflicted. She finally tells Tucker the truth, that he is Shanna's father. He is shocked, but also very happy. Avery has a hard time believing Tucker with wanting to be a family. She was hurt before, and she refuses to be again. This is a great story with a HEA. I did receive an arc for an honest review.

WOW..This book is great!! Leslie put together a story that had you cheering, cursing and crying all at the same time.
This is the third Wells brother and you will not be disappointed. You will also catch up on the other two and the ladies that tamed them.
(Avery Collins is stunned when her ex, Tucker Wells, stumbles through her door during a snowstorm, pretending ten years haven’t gone by since he broke her heart.
Though his mind is a bit muddled after falling from his horse, he’s thinking clearly enough to know two things: He’s still in love with Avery and he wants to get to know the daughter he’s just discovered he has.
If only he could remember what made him leave her all those years ago, then maybe he could find his way back to her now…) from author play on words.

The journey to find the missing pieces of his mind is a heck of a trip and you do not want to miss the ride.

This is book three in the Wells Brother series. This is Tucker, the youngest Wells brother’s story. I’ve really enjoyed this series and am sad to see the Wells brothers go. Each book is a quick read and can be read as a standalone. Tucker and Avery were high school sweethearts, but Tucker walked away from her to follow his dream of being a photographer It’s been 10 years and now he’s back to stay. He’s knocks his head when he’s thrown from his horse and ends up with amnesia. He can’t remember what happened over the last 10 years. Avery’s older and wiser. She’s not falling for Tucker again or at least that’s what she keeps saying to herself. Plus, she has a daughter to take care of and a vet clinic to get up and running again. Will they find their way back to each other? Will their secrets keep them apart?

Wells Brothers series is wrapped up in a pretty little package

Avery, a veterinarian, is surprised when Tucker, freelance photographer and the youngest Wells brother, knocks on her door and doesn’t remember anything from after high school graduation over ten years ago. As the story progresses his claim of amnesia seems true, only part of the past is revealed, and if they want to have a chance at a future the full story of the past must be shared. Leslie North’s The Cowboy’s Second Chance Family highlights the hubris of youth and how the choice we make back then can have unforeseen consequences. The Wells Brothers series is wrapped up in a pretty little package in this last book and I can’t wait to see what Ms. North has in store for the reader next.

He loved her too much and her dream in life to tie her life on hold for his!

This is a sweet and mostly clean romance with high school sweethearts who was forced apart by Tucker himself. His dream was to travel and a photographer While Avery’s was becoming a Veterinarian. He decided for her no matter what she wished to do.... his mistake cost him his love of Avery and their 9 year old daughter when he returns 10 years later to only get thrown from a horse. Knocks of the old Vet’s door with amnesia only the old vet is now a slightly older Avery.... he lost 10 years with the hit on his head and he’s explaining the ‘last time’ they were together, error the final breakup fight... Told in both POVs. No other women or men drama. Their daughter Shanna helps brings Avery and Tucker’s story more complete and she gets her fair share in the story and not be pushed out like some stories I’ve read before.

Tucker and Avery were high school sweethearts. He left town to pursue his dream. She was pregnant, went to college and vet school while raising the daughter he never knew about. She's back in Benton Ridge to open up her practice when he stumbles back into her life. He has an accident, leaving him with amnesia. The only thing he remembers is his love for her, and he wants to win her back. They have some surprises and setbacks along the way. Tucker is a likable guy who just wants to be happy, ready to settle down. Avery is patient and forgiving with Tucker most of the time, until he crosses the line, fixing things in her life one time too many. Shanna is such a sweet child, the light of their lives. Smart and observant, she figures out that Tucker is her dad. This is my favorite book in the series, and a terrific way to end the stories of the Wells brothers.
