Six years ago, when I walked into that roadside diner in the middle of nowhere Texas, I never thought I’d be staring into the cornflower blue eyes of destiny.
In that moment I wasn’t Zachriel Seal, front man for Destined to Fall. I was just Zach, and she was perfect.
Some would say that night marked the beginning of my downward spiral, it wasn’t - but it didn’t help.
Since then I’ve lived by three rules.
Sex, Drugs & Rock-n-roll.
So why after avoiding this place for six years do I find myself standing outside that same diner, allowing hope to creep into the one place I’ve locked away?
Because for Emogine, I’d be willing to trade one addiction for another.
HER.

This story is an emotional read with interesting characters, intense sexual tension and a plot that keeps you turning the pages, needing to know what happens next. I wasn't expecting such a deep, emotional story but this romance sure delivered!

Zach is a perfect tortured hero. Emogine is a strong, compassionate heroine. The world the author builds is intriguing and I can't wait for the next book in this series.

***Spoilers***
This author is very skilled at developing her characters and making their motivations and struggles apparent. I do not typically enjoy romances that feature the hero or heroine having any form of sexual contact with another partner after forming a connection/having sex with each other but the interactions that happen in this story are explained very well, fit the character and don't cheapen the hero and heroine's relationship at all.

A well-written five-star read!

Em is working as a waitress in her families diner while studying to be a lawyer when a stranger enters checking if it's still open. That stranger is Zach who is actually a vampire rock star with an addiction problem. They sleep together that night without protection and Em finds herself pregnant without the father around.

I feel mixed about this book I liked Em and personally could take or leave Zach. The other fallen guys had me intrigued and the writer is new to me, her writing style is easy to follow, will definitely try another book by Jennifer

One in a million

I was booked from the prologue! I couldn’t stop once I started. I cried a lot in this book. There were parts that completely gutted me and then there were happy tears.
This is my favorite genre. Paranormal- more specifically fallen angels/vampires.
This is book two and I can not wait to read the next one. I have my eyes set on one, but I am going to anxiously await his book.
Absolutely fantastic!!!
A. Chance meeting six years ago leads to the absolute unimaginable future. I can’t give anything away. Just be prepared for an emotional ride!

I def liked this much more than the first book (I mean we all know [and by all it’s just me and my mom, and I tell my mom] I love the secret baby trope). I also think that the internal struggles that these Blood Angels go through is interest, especially Zach which his whole “what’s the point attitude”. However, it kind of turned into a “pussy cured my addiction” and the conflict was just resolved quickly. I have a feeling that there are over-arching plots throughout the series but I guess I will have to get there first.

Wow, not what I expected in a VERY good way!
While it was the cover model who pulled me into volunteering to read ZACHRIEL by Jennifer Field, it is the story that has me awarding 5 STARS in this voluntary review. Jennifer Field is a “new to me” author, and ZACHRIEL is the first “angel romance” for me as well. Well-written, captivating, with just the right amount of angst, ZACHRIEL was absolutely fascinating. Ms. Field is able to build a world with her eloquent prose that is difficult to leave at the story’s end. Additionally, the pace and periodic reveals within the novels made for a tasty treat and kept me reading pages long after I had planned to quit. I found both Zach and Emogine seminally worthy characters, and I especially loved the way the novel’s epilogue addressed all of my “unanswered questions.” ZACHRIEL is a 5 STAR, MUST-READ, IMHO. So, I must recommend for those who love romance and are looking for something with a different twist, give ZACHRIEL by Jennifer Field a read this week, and let me know what you thought! Happy pages! 😉

Absolutely Loved Zach! In reading Jaxon's book (Blood Angel Chronicles Book 1), Zachriel was the one who intrigued me the most of all the characters. So glad I didn't have to wait too long for his story. I had a hard time putting this book down, I just had to see how it played out. I like the way Jennifer, gives you the little hints, makes you question and think about it before the "big reveals." 5 stars for Zach and Em...and you too Jennifer!

Another winner

Zachriel is book 2 in the Blood Angel Chronicles, I would strongly recommend to read Jaxon before reading Zachriel to really appreciate and enjoy the interaction between Zach and his "brothers". The story was interesting and keept you guessing what direction it would take. Again Jennifer Field managed to create strong, interesting and "human" characters, loved the connections between Zach & Em, and not to forget Max. Looking forward to reading Ashers story.

Ms Field is a new to me author and I will defiently be finding more of her work to read. With a story that captivated me and had me holding on until the very end and suprised the crap out of me. It wasn't what I expected when I picked it up but it definetly didn't disappoint.

Everything and More!!!

Wow! Zachriel did not disappoint at all. In fact, Jennifer Field did an amazing job with Zach and Em's story. I was not expecting everything that transpired. I'm excited for book 3 - March 2021 cannot get here fast enough.
