I grew up in the Bay Area, CA with my German mother and Scottish-Irish father. After receiving a BA in Communication Studies from SJSU, Summa Cum Laude, my PR and corporate marketing career took me from high-tech Silicon Valley to PR agencies in NYC, managing major campaigns for fortune 100 companies. In the last 15 years, I dedicated myself to marketing consulting in a field I loved: health and wellness. I obtained certification in Advanced Hypnotherapy at the Palo Alto School of Hypnotherapy with special certifications in intuition. My entrepreneurial thirst was also quenched in retail, nutraceuticals, and real estate businesses. Although my path seemed to wind in every direction, I now realize the diverse experiences have helped me pursue my passion for writing and complete “Mind Masters,” my first novel.

Fascinating book--a real page-turner. A young woman volunteers for a mysterious experiment, then finds herself in a world turned upside down by a powerful virus that reveals everyone's secret thoughts. In the chaos that follows, she and her small band of friends confront a power-hungry leader who wants to control the world. A book filled with mystery, romance, and lessons for our time.

I couldn't put this book down—it was so engaging, imaginative, inspiring, and kept me on the edge of my seat. Reading it was like being on a wild journey, cheering the characters on as they overcame their greatest challenges, learned to love, and discovered their strengths to create a better world. Can’t wait for the sequel!

Did Not Finish

No rating. Moved to the DNF shelf at the 51% mark. I found I wasn't interested in the story or the characters. There were several things I found just silly, and each took me further out of the story.

I found this to be a truly inspirational book. The interaction of the characters and how they grew to be a close-knit family was great. Take time to read this novel.

This story is converting me to a fan of Sci-Fi. I haven't quite finished it, but then I really don't want it to end. I'll pay to see it on the big screen one day, and I'll look for more from this new author. I'm telling friends, "Read it."

Interesting premise for an apocalyptic future world. The story dragged a bit in places where the author seemed to want to teach us about meditation and mindfulness instead of furthering the plot. Overall, I enjoyed this novel.
