Olivia’s superiors said they were sending her to the Boundarylands on a mission of discovery, but what they really wanted her for was bait.

No woman willingly travels to the Boundarylands.

It's where they are—the Alphas.

They keep to themselves in the wilderness, and beta civilization knows to keep its distance. Especially beta women…for fear they may not be a beta after all.

Olivia’s orders were simple. Travel to the Boundarylands, covertly observe an alpha specimen, and send back her data. Her superiors promised her every precaution. They promised she’d be safe. But they never told her she what they really needed her for was bait.

And when the alpha they’d sent her to observe discovers the spy on his property, he’s determined to take his revenge…any way he wants.

Welcome to the Boundarylands. A place where the only way to know your true nature is to feel the touch of an Alpha. Omegas may be rare, but every woman knows their fates are hellish—held captive, broken, mated, knotted, and bred.

The Plot Thickens.....dun, dun, duunnnnnnn!!!!

I love a sexy older man, as famously stated in a Just for Men's commercial: a man who looks like he knows what he's doing but still young enough to do it!! 😂😂

Gray and Olivia are both a little older and wiser, able to sit back and think things through. I think they were made for each other, and I really liked both characters. They were able to suss out the motive for what's been going on in the Boundarylands, but now what's going to be done about it?

Can't wait for Ryder's book next to get some answers.

Finally a brunette, although she has wrinkles (crows feet) in her eyes and appears to be older. The story was promising in the beginning and came to a slow and dragging end. This story seemed more like a foreshadowing for the next more exciting story.

This series is continuing to be good. Each story as enough action and intrigue to keep me coming back. Gray and Olivia were a great couple.

The beta government continues in ther quest to end the Alpha's. The secretive agency the lying and treats all make a great villain for this series.

I also liked that Olivia was attracted to him when she didn't know she was an Omega. He was attracted to her before he touched her.

As always the heat level in this wss 🔥🔥🔥🔥. Looking forward to the next book.

While this story is along the lines of what readers expect from the author, a new conflict has developed. The next several books in the series should be very interesting.

Felt like an incomplete book, more a chapter story

I love the world and books, but feel they are lacking depth and development, wanted to see more of the woman’s interaction and characters development. Have read the whole series and look forward to the next story, but it could be so much better

Best one so far!

Hard to believe I just read Book 10! Feels like just yesterday I discovered Kian and Paige in this omgeaverse. It’s been one crazy ride that I’m loving, can’t wait for book 11! Gray and Olivia are couples goals to be sure. Well other then the fact that Olivia is technically a spy and Gray is a hard headed alpha who wants to do everything himself. I have to say though Olivia has been my favorite omega so far. She maybe omega but she has a little alpha in her as well. The Boundrylands are by far my favorite lands to explore and I can’t wait for more from Ms. Rhodes! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Gray – The Boundarylands Book #10 – Callie Rhodes

Wildlife photographer gets more than she bargained for. An Alpha…

Olivia – A professional wildlife photographer is forced to take a surveillance job by a secret ‘black ops’ Beta Government agency. The subject – not just any wild animal. No, an Alpha in The Upper Boundarylands no less.

Gray - He is an Alpha who likes to keep himself to himself, as most Alphas do. He is an Alpha who thinks before he acts. A trait that has him acting as the unofficial leader and advisor of the Upland Alpha community. He settles disputes between his Alpha brothers with tact and thoughtfulness. He has a routine, that he sticks to on and off his own property so is very predictable in his ways.

When Olivia is thrust into her assignment and realises that she is now stuck in The Boundarylands until the ‘men in black’ come and pick her up, she decides she may as well settle into her designated spot just outside the boundary of the Alpha’s land. Or so she thinks. After a few days of watching the Alpha go about his business, she notices a subtle change in his behaviour and before she is able to assimilate actions to reactions, she finds herself in the grasp of the Alpha she has been surveilling.

The usual angst between Alpha and newly awakened Omega with hot and steamy scenes thrown in! although they seemed fewer in this chapter of the series, they were no less saucy in the telling.

This book delves a little deeper into the actions of the Beta Government and their recklessness and fear when dealing with the Alpha communities. They do not believe the Alphas deserve to be considered human, and the social commentary running through the series is further progressed in this book.

The usual warning for steamy sex scenes with the Alpha/Omega exchange. Some violent scenes thrown in between Alpha and Beta adversaries making this an 18+ read. I gave it four stars.

Gray and Olivia

It’s always great to take a trip to the Boundrylands. You never know exactly who you’re going to find there. We’re meeting a whole new group of alphas now that we’ve made it to the northern area, and Gray seems like a great alpha.

What’s done to Olivia is wrong though. Being forced and setup by the government into being on Gray’s property as basically a sacrificial lamb just isn’t right. The government has also perfected its product that keeps the alphas from smelling other people. So when Gray finds Olivia, between how she’s covered from head to toe and the scent disabler, he can’t even tell if she’s a man or a woman. He gets the shock of his life when he realizes she’s a woman.

Olivia, of course, believed what the government agent told her about the alpha”s property lines, etc. so when she’s caught, she’s terrified, just like the rest of the women in these books have been. Unlike most, she adjusts fairly quickly. Their happily ever after comes quickly.

I can’t wait until the alphas and omegas find a way to let the outside world learn of their life on the inside and how the government is persecuting them. At some point, that has to happen.

Looking forward to book 11

OLDER MAN TROUPE! But we weren't told the age of the heroine.
Anyways, another easy to read short omegaverse story, very straight up too.

GRAY is my kind of alpha. Older, brooding and protective. And he has completely no idea that our heroine has been 'spying' on him for three days until he found her. In a nutshell, our heroine, OLIVIA was threatened by the baddies whom you know if you have followed the series - to photograph Gray and document his routines in pictures. BUT BUT BUT there was actually a more sinister side to their plan, okay maybe not but typically, Olivia awakens her Omega genes in the presence of her Alpha, they get to fucking and they don't get along. I think that was my favourite part, that it wasn't insta-love. This couple was cute and I liked that Olivia wasn't very submissive. She stood her ground with Gray and I think she fitted his character well, either way I think Gray suits either a strong woman or an adorable housewife type of woman.

OVERALL it's omegaverse, and it's straightforward. Sadly, the sex scenes weren't very heavy which is what I often expect from an omegaverse book BUT since this is a quickie edition, I have no complains.

What's fantastic about this book:

--Gray and Olivia are both very strong, very smart people. Alpha does not mean alphahole here; omega does not mean doormat. They use their intelligence well to understand the situation they've been thrust into.
--And that situation is the second great aspect of this book. Slowly, over the course of the series, Rhodes has been creating a sense of a larger issue building in the Boundarylands. It truly starts to be uncovered in Gray, and that dramatic reveal of what the threat to the alphas and omegas of these lands are is amazing.
--The book is still chock-full of Rhodes' wonderfully sensuous writing, but it's used here to propel the plot and the growing relationship between Olivia and Gray.

So you add these things up, and you have a wonderful book. I can't wait to see where Rhodes takes this next.

HEA
Series (the previous ones could have been read alone but at this point they cannot unless you don't care about unanswered questions)

Gray and Oliva are both being played as pawns of the beta gvnment. Somehow they figured out she is an omega and want to study her change while she is with the Alpha they basically chose for her. It all ties into fuel shortages and other things the betas are trying to do to the alphas to destabilize their economy. No answers are given in this story. I was really enjoying the individual struggles in the series before this shift to societal struggle. I will read the next book because I already have it, but I may not finish the series.

Story seemed rushed and incomplete

I have read this series and have loved the stories. I gave Gray's story 3 stars because seemed rushed unlike the others where you seen the relationship/bond grow. This seemed like an incomplete story when comparing to all the others. Plus it ended so abruptly. Otherwise it had the potential to be a five star book :) Looking forward to the next book fingers crossed its as good as the others!

Good but kinda short

Grey - as we add another piece to the larger puzzle of what’s going down in the Boundreylands. I really did like this story and then just as it was meeting what felt like a peak....she’s getting boxes of her stuff delivered and the 1 page wrap up....hmm idk i felt like she could have done more but i suspect that we will revisit these two as all the packs are starting to work together and get wise on the beta’s plans.

Ok read

Ok read, few typos. I read this first, not in the order I should have I suppose, so there were obviously some questions. I’m not sure if I’m going to read more or not as it was really just “meh”. I only finished the book cause I wanted to know why they had dropped her off in his land and what they planned. And it definitely was “hot” like it claimed, the intimate scenes were kinda lacking.

Excellent series!

Olivia is forced through blackmail to photograph Gray. He unlocks her Omega nature and you can guess the rest. It is important to read these in order because each one build a on the last. There is a bigger story going on than just the two main characters. So good!

Introducing a Fearless Hellcat!

I am so in love with this series and I can't wait for the next story. Just when you think the book is going to be like the other their is a twist and the adventurebegins. I reallg enjoyed this one because the Omega was a "hellcat" and spoke her mind. She seemed fearless! Can't wait to see what the next adventure will be!

Love this series

This book had a great story line but was cut short. It made me feel like the last few chapters were rushed. The author needs to take her time and not rush the ending. Thats why i gave it 4 stars when it could have been 5 if i didn't feel so rushed at the end. I mean when I finished the last chapter I went " what where ia the rest of it".

Quick entertaining scintillating

This is my first in the series as well as this author. Not my normal genre however, the alpha omega storyline was scintillating and quick paced. Despite the short length I enjoyed the story and found myself captivated with the mysteries surrounding Olivias arrival to an alphas property.

Good read.

I liked that the heroine was mature and disciplined. She was at the top of her field and could reason things out. The hero was also not as much of a d!ck as some of the previous alphas.

**spoiler**
A wee bit disappointed in the claiming bite though! Done out of anger and fear rather than desire... sad.

What is true and what isn't ?

Gray and Olivia have an interesting story. She is placed "near" his land in order to take photos of him for a week. But things are not exactly as she was told by the betas that placed her there.
The beta government is out to cause trouble and has developed new technologies to do it.

This book broadens the world

This story adds a “big bad” that is something other than someone chasing the heroine. I look forward to seeing how this plot develops in future books. I also enjoyed having an older omega who borders on alpha in her personality. Looking forward to reading the next book!

New Omega

Olivia was given a job she couldn't refuse if she valued her and her families lives. She's to spy and take pictures of an Alpha. Eventually he found out she was there. Olivia was an Omega just coming out. They have to figure out what this was about. How would it all end for these two?

Another favorite of the series! Meeting Gray in Roman's book, we see that he is the 'leader' of the uplands. Olivia is forced to spy and photograph Gray's daily routine from a hunting blind. He finds her after a couple of days. They discover the a beta government group has been watching the Boundarylands and used Olivia as a spy.

We don't know their ages, but they are described as a slightly older couple, compared to the rest of the series. I think both characters are in their mid to late 30's.

These books just keep getting better. Gray and Olivia's story is by far my favourite so far from the series. Gray is one damn hot Aloha that I'd like to fight with too. Great to see a FMC like Olivia not taking any shit and is not afraid to use her nails when needed. As the series has gone on, the details in the books keep getting better as well as the plot, characters and the endings.

Good but not the best

Loved the story line and the characters but felt it was a bit more rushed then previous books in the series. Would have liked there to be a little more development relationship wise between Olivia and Grey. Definitely not my favorite of the series.

Not my favorite novella in this series, but not bad. Gray just unfortunately didn't really do anything for me and I didn't find the storyline to be all that exciting. Ryder was introduced though and I'm looking forward to reading his story!
