Be back with a full review closer to release date. But suffice to say, you won't want to miss out on the finale of the Treading Water Series. It's outstanding -- with a perfect wrap-up to Jack Harrington's family saga. It's full of laughs, tears, good times, bad times and plenty of love. And it places the spotlight on Jack and Clare's youngest daughter, Maggie and her "the one" -- the horse whisperer, Brayden. I ooh'd and ahh'd throughout. It's a beautiful and meaningful story sure to delight and claim your heart.

The Long Wait Was Worth It

We waited a long time for Marie to write Maggie’s story... and it was worth it. All of the Treading Water characters got to play fairly significant roles which was great, but the book really belongs to Maggie and Brayden. Great story to end s remarkable and emotional series!

Disappointed in Maggie's book

I normally give Marie Force a better rating, but this story wasn't gut wrenching like the other books in this story. The main character Maggie meets Brayden and is engaged in such a short time. Everybody is friends and honestly I don't think it's realistic with step parents and step siblings ect.... The line towards the end that Andi is the only person that ever really knew Jack isn't kind to Claire because they had a wonderful marriage and would 've still been married if she wasn't raped. I did enjoy catching up with Jill and Kate's Chas and the rest of the families.

Like many others, I feel like I've been waiting forever for Finding Forever! But I think it's because I love Marie Force's Treading Water series so much that I needed to have Maggie find her happily ever after. And Maggie did find that- with Brayden, a horse whisperer who comes to work for her at Matthews House.

It was so great to catch up with all of the members of the Harrington family and the extended brood!

Love at first sight

Maggie's book was everything I wanted it to be. When she signed on to run Mathews House, she never knew what she had in store for her. Meeting Brayden was life changing. He was the man her Mom had told her would comes her way one day if she waits for him. I loved this book. I especially enjoyed meeting up with the whole family. 💗

I love Maggie and Brayden story. I hope Marie doesn't mind me using a highlight for her book and I hope you love it as much as I did...💜💜💜

“There’s something I didn’t get a chance to tell you earlier, but it’s something you should know.” Maggie glanced at him warily. “I’m almost afraid to ask.” “This is actually something good. The best thing ever, in fact.” “What?” “I love you, too. I have for a while now. I was dying to tell you, but I kept thinking it was too soon.” They were among the best words Maggie had ever heard. “I was the same. Dying to tell you, but afraid to freak you out with too much too soon.” “I could never have too much of you, sweet Maggie.” He kissed her then with hours of desperate need and desire coming together in an explosive burst of passion that left them both reeling when they finally came up for air. “Whoa.” Maggie laughed at the astounded face he made. “We should get married,” Brayden said. “What?” “You heard me. We should get married and live together and run this program of yours together and have beautiful dark-haired babies together. We should have everything. I love you. You love me. Your dad didn’t kill me. What else is there?” “Nothing,” Maggie said, her heart so full of love and excitement, she feared it would burst. “That’s everything I’ve ever wanted.” “Is that a yes?” She couldn’t believe this was happening. “Are you really asking me?” He got up on his knees and reached for her hand. “Maggie Harrington, I love you. I’ll always love you, my dream girl, the one I thought I’d never find. For the rest of my life, I’ll remember the way you chased after me, stared me down and forced me to fight for myself and for us. Will you please marry me and live with me and let me help you change people’s lives in this incredible place and father your children and be part of your amazing if overly involved family?” Maggie laughed through her tears. “Yes, Brayden. That’s a yes. Yes to everything.”

TBH, I thought the series was just okay the first time I read it, but by reading again and again, I found myself falling in love with these characters and how human they are. Like avid fans of this series, I was eagerly awaiting Maggie’s book and it did not disappoint. Brayden is just perfect for Maggie and the chemistry between them is palpable. The relationship between the Harrington sisters is so special and I’m glad Marie decided to have them all together. Also, highlighting the special work that people do in these shelters/communities is awesome.

This book is definitely worth the wait and that epilogue! The waterworks wouldn’t stop. Ending it with Jack’s perspective is genius. It was beautiful and poignant. Jack Harrington truly is one of the best book heroes ever. Thank you Marie!

The final chapter of the Harrington clan is heartwarming and an emotional rollercoaster ride. It lived up to every one of my expectations. The extended Harrington family is on hand to celebrate their highs; births, marriages and engagements. They also offer support when someone experiences the sadder, despairing side of life. They pull together as a unit and surround one another with love. I admit to having several teary moments as I read.

Maggie Harrington finally finds love and it's joyous. Settling in as the director of Matthews House gives Maggie a true sense of fulfillment but dealing with the tragedies that her clients encounter can be draining both emotionally and mentally. When Brayden Thomas shows up to start running Maggie's pet horse therapy project he instantaneously captures her attention. Brayden just seems to "get her" and Maggie finds herself opening up to an almost complete stranger. For his part, Brayden feels the attraction too. Can someone fall in love after only knowing the other person only a handful of days? Evidently, the answer is yes.Now all Brayden and Maggie have to do is admit their feelings.

Is this the end?

Mags and Braydon's story provided closure to what has been an absolutely wonderful series. Jack redeemed himself, but then she brings reason and he learned the hard way that his children 's happiness was all that mattered. I am overjoyed that Braydon got a family. It's no not being alone in this world. Loved this. However Claire and Sudan's love remains my favorite in this series. 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕

Thank you, thank you, thank you, Marie Force! I’ve waited so long for Maggie’s book, and you did NOT disappoint. Reading her story while visiting with all of the Harrington, O’Malley, and Matthews families felt like coming home. I especially liked that the epilogue was written from Jack’s POV. That was a fitting ending to a fabulous series!

How do we say Goodbye to where it all started for all Force Fans ? With the conclusion to the Treading Waters series of course .

This book is a long time coming for All Force Fan girls . We get to reunite with our favorite Harrington sisters Jill, Kate , and Maggie . This book is the epitome of what we all love of Marie’s characters the togetherness and the love of family.

In this story we didn’t that Maggie has grown into a beautiful , intelligent social worker who is running Matthews house ( which was created by Kate and Reid Matthews , stars of Coming home )a home for women and children who’ve come up on hard times . We see Maggie navigating the troubles of all plus her secrets .
Then we have Sexy Brayden the horse whisper who helios Maggie start her Equine therapy program to help these families.

What we see are two people that love immensely fall hard for one another , but will their secrets keep them apart.

This book gives a satisfying conclusion to the treading waters series .

Its been seven years since the last book in this series and once I began reading it seems like no time had passed. We catch up with Kate Jill and Maggie the last sister of the Harrington Clan to get her HEA. The books picks up a few months after the last book in which Maggie is running a woman shelter that her sister Kate and her husband Reid helped set up and is funding financially. Maggie sets out to hire an Equine therapist who works with horses and children. She meets Brayden who interviews for the job and she is instantly attracted to him although she tries to fight the feeling and emotions they eventually give into their attraction. Although the main storyline is Maggie and Brayden we get so much more. We get to witness Kate giving birth Jill getting married the storyline touches on some of the ladies who live in the shelter who have dealt with severe domestic abuse which is covered reasonable well in a romance book setting. It brings a smile and joy to me to see this characters after all these years.

Going back home

I've read this series 3x and I have to say it has been so wonderful to go back and revisit. I was so torn from the 1st book Treading Water by the time I finished it I was in love. And every book in the series had left me wanting more. Having a mixed family, it is so realistic and achievable to come together, put the kids first. It has been so amazing to be a part of their journey, see them grow.
I want more....

Marie Force does not disappoint with Finding Forever, the final book in the Treading Water series. These characters are vibrant and have gone through so much. Maggie is no exception as she finds her forever love while dealing with challenging issues at work. Brayden has a secret from his past. Can they get beyond it? Marie Force provides a few twists while staying true to these characters as she brings this saga to a heartwarming end. A must read!

More!

The ending we've wanted to this wonderful series has finally come. While thrilled it's here I'm sad too. Such an incredible family with enough love to go around through up and downs. I'll still continue to hope for a change of mind and one more book. We need to hear about their brother and his travel in Thailand. Come on Marie please just one more!

This was a very long awaited book. I absolutely love this series. The emotional element of each of their stories has always stayed with me, even years later. I was so excited to finally read about Maggie’s HEA, and it was fabulous. She is a feisty, sassy type of girl. Her heart is so incredibly big and full of love. The women and children shelter that she runs for her sister and brother-in-law is the most perfect job for her. And bringing in Brandon for equine therapy put a cherry on top. He is ‘her one’, for sure. I loved how sweet and sensitive he was with her. He has his own vulnerabilities, and I adored how they were able to share those with each other. This whole family is beyond wonderful. I loved every word. Makes me want to re-read the whole series.

The last in the Treading Water series - it’s apropos that it should be about the youngest Harrington daughter, Maggie. She has the biggest heart, kindest soul - a perfect fit for sweet and kind, Brayden. It was so wonderful reading what the rest of the Harrington and O’Malleys were doing a few months after Kate and Reid’s “Coming Home” (my favorite Treading Water couple.

This is the last in the Treading Water, tho I will admit, I’d love to know what happens to one of the abused mothers - Corey touched my heart and I’d love her happily ever after.

It’s tough not to spoil the story, all I will say is I love Marie’s writing. This series is wonderful and it’s a great time, especially NOW, to give Marie’s words a try.

Maggie's story is ranked very high on my list!
This is a book I was anxious to read and it surpassed my expectations.
Maggie's story was well worth the wait and Brayden just added so much to this awesome story. He was the perfect man for Maggie.
I can't possibly say enough good about this book or this great series. It had all the feels you look for and so much more.
This one needs to be added to everyone's TBR if they have not read it.
Thank you Marie Force for finishing The Treading Water Series.
I highly recommend this book and the entire series.

Loved this book! I have read most of Marie’s books, and always love them. The cast of this series feels like family- I’ve read all of the Treading Water series, and have looked forward to the final book. If you haven’t read any of this series, start at the beginning and read them ALL! I confess to being a little teary-eyed at the end. I’m sure I’ll reread this one soon- I sped through it overnight! (one of the few benefits of being stuck at home for this pandemic 😂).

OMG, so worth the wait!

I’m so thankful that this story called to you Marie! You did such amazing justice to Maggie’s story and to the beautiful relationship between the Harrington sisters and the men they love—and the epilogue, utter perfection, basically was teary eyed through the whole thing; and Aiden walking Jill down the aisle with Jack?! absolutely loved that. Just perfect!

OMG!! What away to end a series 😢❤️. Marie Force has really out done herself with Maggie’s story. I absolutely loved it. There are parts of the book where I laughed when Reid told Ashton and Brayden to forget the condones.
And how Ashton and Brayden bickered at the fundraiser and in the car. I absolutely loved how Maggie ❤️ Brayden were two lost souls and found their soulmates in each. Again Marie a story well said and as worth the wait ❤️😊📖

What a finale!

I absolutely loved Maggie’s story and although I’m going to miss reading about this family, the series did end happily ever after! I’m in love with all the Harrington girls and their men. And have hopefully learned something as a parent that has yet to deal with girlfriends/boyfriends yet.
