B. Love tried to warn me in her intro but, I didn't listen. I was NOT ready for the chemistry, and the sex, and the BDE, and the sex, and the romance, and the sex. Did I mention the sex?!!! Larisa was on the hunt for a new Dom and Felix wasn't it. She rolls into Kink and spots Apollo sitting at the bar but, he already has a sub. Larisa being Larisa, said "eff it" and shoots het shot anyway. She, of course, gets her way and begins a journey of sex and unexpected love. When Larisa and Apollo agreed to this partnership, catching feelings was not part of the plan. But, their attraction to each other was so intense and their chemistry was so genuine, it was pretty much inevitable that they wouldn't catch feelings. I really liked that, when they realized they were falling in love with each other, they didn't fight it. Larisa and Apollo just accepted their fate and let it happen. I'm not necessarily a fan of BDSM storylines but, I really enjoyed this one. The creativity was superb and I applaud the author for doing her research. B. Love knocked it out the park with To Protect & Swerve. I just might be willing to give BDSM a try but only if Apollo is my Dom.
