She’s meant for someone back on Lunaria. She isn’t meant for me.
But that’s not the biggest problem.

Gallix and Eve on planet Edon!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Narration: 🎙🎙🎙🎙
Romance: 💚🖤💙❤️
Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗📙📘
World building: 🪐🛸🚀☄️
Character development: 🤖👽🥰👽

The heroine: Eve - She was born in the work camps of sector five of Earth in the near future. She was woken one morning by sirens, taken and lined up with other women from the bunkhouse and she speaks up when one of the other women is mistreated. Eve ends up agreeing to be part of the alien slave trade, which was more like indentured surrogacy. Though where she was living was worse than what they proposed.

The Hero(es): Gallix - he has appeared in the last few books as a young warrior, strong and able. He was a relentless flirt and has sex on the brain all the time. He is charged with meeting up with the first slave ship off of Earth and it is up to him and Ronan to verify the females are actually volunteers. Gallix sees pictures of the three women from Earth, and immediately falls for Eve.

The Story: Gallix and Eve become friendly from the start. Eve starts to worry that something is up with the alien slave trade because the women sign up to carry be artificially inseminated and carry three babies before they are released and they will be paid. However, when they were chosen, they were chosen because they were virgins. So why would the wealthy Lunarians care if they were virgins if they were being artificially inseminated?

I really enjoyed the fact that the storylines change in each book. There have been stories running through the series but none take over the entire series. The first few books had the storylines about saving humans from the Rutharians and the fact that the people of Lunaria’s feelings toward the human females went from welcoming to antipathy.

The next few books had lady Idria leading that charge and doing some very shady things to turn things to her favor. She put her plans into place to become queen of both the Rutharians and the Lunarians. This book changed back to the freeing of humans in captivity and the main characters end up stranded on planet Edon due to something new happening on Lunaria. There is the added problem of gravitational time dilation, which means that time on that planet moved differently than on other planets due to the size of the planet so every day they spent on Edon, a year went by on Lunaria.

Like the previous book, the narration was done by Sierra Kline and Gregory Kellen, though Gregory Kellen did a much better job on this book. The last book he did the voice of Gallix in a very fake sounding voice and in this book he had a deep commanding voice that fit Gallix perfectly. The book was in dual narration which isn’t my favorite, but better than most.

Earth has become a world divided by class sectors. Human women have been abducted by aliens without earth knowing anything about it. Breeders are sought out across galaxies when Lunarians are looking to strengthen their numbers due to a decline in female mates. Now the Lunarians have seen exactly how human women have been treated by those who kidnapped them and seek to find them and give them a new home in the hopes they will all find the one. But there is danger not only from those of other planets but within their own walls.

I enjoyed the story and felt for the characters as you can see both sides of the coin. There is action, intrigue, pain, suffering, hope, politics and love to be found among the pages.

When a human is involved they will do anything to make them theirs. However, the chemistry explodes, making them confront there are feelings just waiting to be explored. As their connection simmers dangerously close to the surface, they must decide if it is worth the risks that come with uncovering their true desires.

A quick read to take you from reality for a few hours.

Love this story and series - Highly recommend - Great storyline, characters and plot

Written for mature readers only (18+ years old) due to subject matter that may be a trigger or offensive to some including adult language, adult intimate scenes and violence.

While this could be read as a stand-alone, I highly recommend it be read in series order for maximum reader satisfaction and to prevent spoilers as there are reoccurring characters and an overall storyline arc.

There are still a few grammatical issues, but most are missing a transition or incorrect spelling choice (I.e. piece vs peace). To me they were not enough to lower the rating, especially given the strength of the storyline, characters and wonderful plots throughout. There are very few stories that I can’t figure out long before the ending, but this series has been fun for me because I haven’t guessed all of them.

Even though there are twists, Gallix’s and Eve’s story ends with a HFN, no cheating, and no cliffhanger for them, just a preview of the next story ... which is going to be excellent if the teaser is anything to go by.

Here is a high level overview of how the story begins:

Gallix and Ronan are Lunarian warriors and they are given the task of retrieving and escorting three human females to Lunaria as part of the new breeding slave agreement between the two planets. They are also asked to make sure that the three participants are willing and agreed to this, as there are several afraid that the Sectors (one of the ruling bodies on Earth) will not care if they are willing or not as long as it benefits them.

Gallix is nervous, excited, and dreading meeting the females, as there is one that has haunted him every since he saw her picture. Despite him being threatened with physical violence if he fell in love with one of the human females, he fears that his heart has already made following that direction impossible.

Eve, Ora, Marissa and several others have been transported from their Sector 5 work-fields and brought to the medical tent. There they are asked questions about drinking, smoking, virginity, etc. Then they are tested to make sure they are fertile. All of them “volunteer” for the new breeding slave program, anything to get away from Sector 5 and the guards that starve and beat them. Plus Eve was warned about letting anyone learn that their portions were limited or about Sector 5.

The final three that were chosen were Eve, Ora and their friend, but before they can board the Lunarian spaceship, their friend is replaced with Marissa. She is hateful, snobby, and has done whatever she could to get out of work or get extra rations. So Eve and Ora don’t want anything to do with her if they can help it. Ora is immediately attracted to Pax, the cousin of Gallix that came along with them, Eve was having a hard time keeping her attention away from Gallix, and Marissa was flirting with them all.

It was going to be a long trip to Lunaria ... then the alarm went off, which in Sector 5 meant that The Vulture (over the guards) was coming and they needed to get ready ... unfortunately this meant something much worse.

The sound of the work camp siren woke all of the sick, cold, overworked and underfed workers asleep in Sector Five. Eve Ballard had been having a wonderful dream where her lover said he loved her or needed her. She wasn’t sure exactly since the siren had jolted her awake. Her bunkmate Ora asked her to guess what the urgency was. A runaway perhaps? The guards lined them all up and when one girl sneezed, the guard came at her with a cattle prod. Eve knew the girl would not survive; she was to weak and ill. So she stepped forward instead. But the leader made him stop as he was about to zap Eve, saying not to mark her or “they” wouldn’t accept her! What did that mean?

Aliens had come to take their pick of the women in the camp that they would take home to replenish their numbers. The females were selected by the aliens’ strict criteria – untouched, fertile -- and Eve was one of the three to be taken for transportation to Lunaria. Although Gallix wanted her for himself, he knew she was meant for another, one of the High Lords who wanted an heir. But when Eve asked why they had to be virgins, because what would it matter since they were to be artificially inseminated, it made Gallix wonder too. He, Ronan, and Pax would try to find out what that was all about. Something just wasn’t sounding right.

They had just finished breakfast and Eve and Gallix were alone doing dishes when loud alarms suddenly went off! The Rutharian enemy was attacking them, three ships and a heavily armed dreadnought, and they were forced to come down on an uninhabited planet with no likely rescue expected. With the time differential, each day spent there was equivalent to a year on both Earth and Lunaria. Gallix would protect Eve on the planet Edon with his life. But will they survive the crash? And can he claim her now as his own?

This was a good story with a very realistic work camp that no one would ever want to be sent to! I felt so bad for the women who were imprisoned there. No matter the outcome, it still sounds like it is for the best that Eve and Ora could have a new life and be treated well and valued. Grab your copy and see exactly what the future holds for them.

The only reason this book didn’t get a 5 star from me is due to the ending. The final chapter was really an introduction to Ronan’s story, which will be encapsulated in the next book, “Her Fated King.”

I enjoyed reading the progression of Eve and Gallix’s relationship. There was a lot of funny dialog, and he definitely earned a warm spot in my heart. While there was a bit of Ora and Pax’s relationship, I think they were a “freebe” in this book, and I wouldn’t expect to see a separate book for them. Same with Marisa and Nurex. Although, that might have been a good story to read . . .

Still a good story and I would recommend it. My advice would be to read these books in order.

The writing and editing of the ARC version of the manuscript was clean, with few if any typos that I found. The world building was pretty vivid, though the jump forward in time fifteen years was not a plot twist I was really on board with. The characterization was competent, with hero and heroine both being sympathetic individuals if not especially nuanced. The development of the romantic relationship was sweet and organic. The plot and pacing were quick and exciting, meaning I read this novel in one sitting. There was low angst and high stakes in this novel, which tends to be one of my preferred narrative structures for a romance novel. There was the Partner in Trouble trope in this romance. The world building was three stars, because I simply did not like the premise of a fifteen year jump forward in time. The plot and pacing were three stars. The characterization and development of the romantic relationship were both four stars. I therefore gave this novel a combined rating of three stars. This novel ended on a Happy Ever After ending instead of a cliffhanger, so that was a plus. I am still interested in reading the next book in this series when it releases, even with the way the plot went. I do not plan to buy myself a keeper copy of this novel.

This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. Her Fearless Warrior by Roxie Ray is the sixth book in the Lunarian Warriors series and my first read in this series. Despite being plunked down in the back half of this series, this book read easily and felt more like a first in series. I really enjoyed this read! With a slightly Hunger Games vibe and a little dash of Lost In Space, there is a lot to like about this story. Hunky alien males rescue the precious cargo (human females) entrusted to them. But all is not what it seems and when secrets begin to unravel, an addiction to this storyline is born. This book does set-up for the next in the series, but is well worth the read! Some heat makes this a Mature Readers Only read.

This was like a tornado blowing action, drama, adventure, violence, twists and turns, lies, deceit, a very vicious battle between some nasty animals and the Lunarian warriors and everything that is super great in a Sci-Fi story. This has the story of three couples. They all have different with plenty of ups and downs in their relationship. Most of the story is about Eve and Gallix. Eve is so pure, innocent, sweet, yet has a strength that kept throwing Gallix. Gallix was everything an Alpha should be, protective, strong and a deep respect for women. Eve continues to surprise him with what she can do. Their chemistry is out of this world steamy. This book end by setting you up with Ronan. Ok I have read the first 5 books in this series! This one was everything those others are and then some! Roxie delivered a fantastic, energetic, suspenseful and utterly remarkable story. Not only does she deliver but she drops it literally in your lap! You get the best of all the books and then some delivered in this delightful book! Yep Roxie definitely knows how to transport her readers! She has the ability to transport us into a world of her making and then have us on the edge of our seat with our fingers gripping our reading device. Not only does she set our devices on fire she makes it a wonderful experience. You totally need to get this series! One of the best out there!

Her Fearless Warrior by Roxie Ray is the story of Eve and Gallix….oooooohhhh I LOVED this deeply romantic, slow-burn story!!!! He is a warrior with a mission to take 3 women back to his planet. But, he is deeply drawn to Eve and doesn’t want her to be taken back there. She is a sweet, tortured woman whose only escape from near-certain death is to agree to leave. But, one of the warriors escorting them is someone she is interested in.

Both are drawn to the other and they know it is a hopeless dream….but, they don’t give up!!! I just LOVED this tender, sweet story!!!!!

I am volunteering to leave a review for an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

4.5 ☆

Before starting the book, I read some of the reviews. I have read all the other ones in the series and some of the things people were saying had me a little freaked about continuing. But, in the end, I'm happy I kept going. Like all the others in the series, the story does end with a happy ending for the main couple. Its the overall series arc that has the cliff hanger. Because, like the others, Ray ends with an epilogue that is from the perspective of the next in the series. So, it's less of a cliffhanger and more of a intro to Fated King. And, if that was a complete trigger horror, then you haven't read the other books.

Eve was born in a work camp where they were starved, beaten they were whipped and had cattle prods used on them, Eve and a few of her bunk mates were told to stand in line and answer some questions they didn’t know what was going on until Eve was told that aliens are going to take them away and breed with them Eve was scared but she would do it to get out of sector five and the work camp. There is so much more going on in this story but that’s all I’m going to give, fantastic story and I highly recommend this book.

This was another great story by Roxie Ray. It great to see how the Lunarian story line continued. It;s crazy how going to complete one task will tailspin your life into another task you didn't realize you needed to complete. The end effect is not what you expect but it opens your eyes to thing you never expected. I can't wait to read the next story in this series. I need to know what they missed in while they were stuck on that planet.

The story line is fast paced, imaginative and the time difference between planets and timelines were an interesting take on things and a bit mindboggling. The characters were well developed and intriguing and I did enjoy the read and HEA for Gallix and Eve, however the underlying plot continues and the book does end with a lead into the next story of Ronan. Great read, highly recommended. I am excited to read the next book .

Loved It

It's everything you want in a romance with enough action and drama to keep you on your toes? It take place on a planet that one day there equals one year being away from home and besides that they are dangerous beast there? There's plenty of action, drama, kidnapping, love, and steamy sexy scenes that are hot but not over the top with awesome characters. Definitely a must buy and keep them coming they are awesome?

Gallix is the best!

I really enjoyed this one, Gallix is so funny and flirty. I really enjoyed the action and adventure in this book. We got to witness three couples finding their mates. The other interesting thing is the time difference on the planet they crash landed on. It definitely made for an interesting ending and I am excited for the last book to close out this series. Narration was fantastic!

I liked this story about Eve and Gallix. Starts out a typical romance were 2 different species meet and are drawn to each other. Then it adds action, adventure, a bit of a mystery, suspense, and a dangerous planet into a cool story. The characters were fun and what they had to go through was interesting. I laughed and groaned a few times too. Just a good story in this series.

Her Fearless Warrior: Lunarien Warriors (6)

This is another fine book in this series. Absolutely full of action, so much going on. Only one more to go, the conclusion. I cannot wait. Well I'll have to, it's gotten late. Another thing in these books favour, they aren't rushed, the story isn't short, lovely.

Gorgeous romance

I loved this story in this series.
Despite Gallix coming off as a jerk initially it soon becomes apparent that inside that large warriors exterior lives a gentle giant, especially when it comes to the sweet strong hearted Eve.
Great romance with lots of heat and some unusual twists.
Highly recommended!

Her Fearless Warrior. #3

This was the most fascinating of the series. Of course I think I said the same about the other books but this author has done such a great job of making the books interesting. Book #4 was also in this set and I never thought that each of the Warriors would find their mates.

This installment of the series was different..I liked it but I wished it would have included the characters from the other books. And the ending left me wondering what was going on. 15 years later and things changed way more than I would have thought with all the Generals and their wives in the mix. WTF..nope. the ending killed it for me.

It took me months to finish this. I kept getting a chapter or two further and losing interest before trying again a few weeks later and numerous books in between. The end was disappointingly abrupt, and not knowing what happened to the characters from previous books only compounds that discontent. That Leonix was a concubine and disfigured was the final disappointment.
