Can you say best of the three books. MJ wraps everything up in a tight and beautiful ribbon and boy do i feel like typing spoilers, but I won't. This was so good i stayed up all night to finish it. Well worth the time. Thanks MJ

I gave the first book in this series 2 stars and the second book 4 stars (3.5 in my review). This book earned 3 stars and to be honest I'm glad I'm done with the series. The entire series is plagued with typos and formatting errors. They got better in each book but still exist in this last book. Some typos are fine but it really bothers me when incorrect pronouns are used so you're reading lines that make no sense. I also don't like having to re-read dialogue to figure out who is speaking.

The write-up implies that Liam is a major factor in this story but he's hardly more than a side note. The entire book is spent with them fighting for no reason, separating, making up then fighting again in continuing cycles. They never resolve their issues. I find it hard to believe that they can go from madly in love, to fighting over small things, to being madly in love after getting back together and having sex. There's no real reason for Xander's "restless" feelings or jerk behavior and sex always brings them back together like it solves everything. I began to wonder just how many complications the author would throw their way.

As with the other two books in this series, this book was too long and lacked in serious substance. I would have preferred some actual Liam suspense to the stupid arguments. This author really needs to find a good editor. After all the "drama", the ending felt rushed and I'm left to wonder if they're really together or if they have another stupid argument and break-up coming around the corner. It's possible since they never really resolved anything and their lives had been threatened before so that didn't magically make things work out.

It seems others have enjoyed this series much more than I did and that's great for them and the author. I'm going to look elsewhere for developed characters with motivations and actions I can believe in. The premise of the series was good, it just lost its way with too many wrenches being thrown in the way of their romance.

i really enjoyed the conclusion to this story but feel there was no closure regarding papi and what his plans were. although storyline seemed to drag in some spots the hot sex scenes made up for it.

Better read

Some typos
Still lots of drama, great sex scenes but finally a good love story. Hopefully in future books less drama and more romance

This is the 3rd book about Ava & Xander's story, finally they managed to get together but of course it can never be that simple Liam is back and a psycho thrown into the mix always makes things interesting. If you enjoy a great book with suspense, intrigue and romance to spare then this is the book for you. Spark is book 1 in this series, Ignite is book 2 and this is the final book in the trilogy Burn. hope you enjoy this series as much as I did.
I cannot wait to see what comes next from this author.
