Roach Heaven

A tenderhearted pacifist moves to a new apartment, only to find herself sharing the space with a colony of cockroaches. Determined to avoid using a professional exterminator, she attempts a harmonious existence with an insect which, for most, invokes not empathy but loathing. Eventually, her predicament culminates in a ruthless resolution for these invincible creatures, in the mutual quest for a roach heaven.

Susan English is an award-winning author, a born adventurer, and a world traveler with an insatiable intellectual curiosity. She holds a master’s degree in physics, once lived on a sailboat in the San Francisco bay, was a Peace Corps volunteer in Namibia, and spent five years on the Big Island of Hawaii, where she owned an off-grid, completely self-sufficient farm in the jungle. Now she is happy to be living with her partner in beautiful Medellin, Colombia, the city of eternal spring.

Es muy interesante, realmente me impacto; esta historia nos pone en perspectiva el momento en el que una situación nos puede llevar a cruzar nuestros propios límites, ese punto de quiebre, en el que una decisión nos transforma para bien o para mal y que nunca seremos iguales después de eso.
