An insta love that was just so good. The intensity between Andru and Pumae was felt throughout the pages and oh was I hooked. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Omg why y'all didn't tell me this book was so good?!?
Andru was fresh out after a 7 year bid caused by his recklessness and ego. He was ready to move past that life, but apparently his father had other plans for him and he wasn't sure he was with the ish at all. Looking at the state of the restaurant his father left him, he had no idea how he was going to turn it around. That is until King sends Tennessee aka Pumae his way. It was at that moment he realized that unknowingly his father had set his future in motion. He knew that she was going to be his. Pumae tried to resist the connection she felt to this man. It scared her, because she felt like she could EASILY lose herself in him. His presence was overwhelming and it seemed he only had eyes for her. The truth was that she wanted him too, in fact she found herself craving Dru. She tried to avoid him, but they were meant to be. They quickly realized that they were each other's person. Dru loved her gently, carefully and Pumae quieted his anxiousness and doubt with her love. So sweet and so much love in a short story. Oh and definitely add Dru's fine as$ to the bookbae list he served all the BDE, quietly at that. My favorite type, yessss!

I finally made it to Ganton Hills! lol
Andru & Pumae had an instant connection between them. Now y’all know I love Insta love. It’s one of my favorite tropes. But this novella was missing something. It was a little corny too 😬 I still enjoyed it though. With this being the first book in the series, I’m looking forward to reading the rest.

Great introduction
I really enjoyed this introduction into Ganton Hills! From the moment he paid eyes on her, Andru wasn't about to play with or about Pumae lol. She definitely had her guard up at first, but neither of them could fight that feeling. Can't wait to dive further into Ganton Hills!

The Kingpin of the city was a friend of his father and has hired his goddaughter Pumae to help revitalize the restaurant. From the moment Andru and Pumae meet he decides she’s going to be his girl. This is a cute quick read, I’m interested in reading more stories that take place in Ganton Hills.

New beginnings
This author can definitely write a book with hardly any errors but I wasn’t connected to not one character.
Dru and Pumae story was your typical girl who played hard to get for the new guy and eventually fell in love. The ending was very rushed and I know this was a novella but that doesn’t mean rush the story. Not my best read by this author but I’d still recommend

Four alarm fire!!!
The chemistry between Andre and Pumae jumped off the page. Even when Pumae tried to deny it, she couldn’t fight the pull between them. I swear there always has to be one hater trying to stop your shine but it wasn’t strong enough to stop the inevitable. I love this introduction to the Ganton Hills universe!

Ganton Hills!!! 💙
AP came through like always. Andru is baeeeeeeee and he met his match with Pumae, and their love was so evident throughout the book. I loved how AP was able to incorporate the love for Nip and Puma in the book. I loved it and can’t wait for other installments for Ganton Hills!!!

This authors writing was a little hard to follow at the beginning, but because this is such a short book less than 200 pages you just have to get through the cringe first three chapters then the story actually progresses quickly and you kind of want it to last a little bit longer. Would’ve loved to get an epilogue or a final look at their love story

Imagine getting released from prison and having to get back in the game. In doing so it requires you to have your father’s old barbecue restaurant renovated and gutted. Insert Pumae, baby Pumae wasn’t prepared for Dru and Dru saw Pumae and knew she would be his.
Pumae wanted nothing to do with “bad boy Dru” but that didn’t stop the attraction, his energy, or his advances. Dru was determined to have Pumae no matter the cost. 5 outta 5! BDE✔️ attraction✔️ the HNIC daughter✔️ didn’t come up off one another✔️

A quick and cute fast paced novella. Andru and Pomae were everything. I loved the tension and instant attraction they had towards each other. I am a sucker for an instant attraction read and this one did not disappoint. Andru knew what he wanted and pressed Pumae hard. I loved the boss vibes I got from Pumae as well.

Welcome to Ganton Hills! I loved it the chemistry between Dru Bae and Pumae was so on point. I loved how much of a boss she was too. This was a great introduction to the new characters and I can’t wait to read what’s next beyond the corner of Olive & Oak. Great read.

This novella was a good introduction to the series. I could tell that’s what it was because I didn’t really connect with the characters completely. I expect we’ll see them later but I loved that the MFC didn’t take any shit and MMC knew what he wanted and didn’t play about it 😏

Dru knew what he wanted and went for it. Tennessee had no choice but to accept what he was providing. He provided everything she needed and what she thought she didn’t. He let her know it didn’t take long to know what and who you wanted.

Simply Awemazing!
Short and beautiful all wrapped up in one amazing g read. I loved Pumae she was a bawse bae if you ever saw one but it's something about your soul knowing it has found its mate that makes you let down all the barriers surrounding your heart. Its was love at first sight for both Pumae and Dru...you never know what you need until you find it. I can definitely use some more of Dru and Pumae... I didn't know what I was missing in Ganton Hills and now I know...Embarking on this series will be great... Aubree always delivers.

A cute and quick black love story. The relationship developed very quickly but the story felt authentic. I was somewhat entertained, but I do think this novella will not be that memorable. This was a good introduction and I look forward to trying out more by this author.
