This little guide aims to provide a framework for peaceful investing for your life goals. The concepts presented in this book will help you in achieving financial freedom/independence. It is not necessary to earn a high income to become rich but to develop a framework and follow it religiously.
This book teaches you :

◘ The difference between good and bad debts
◘. How salary is different from disposable income
◘. About various financial mistakes
◘ To focus on things that matters in the long run

Short and concise. This is one book to read for someone who doesn't have any organised thought about what to do first. This is a basic book. Topics I liked: Survivorship bias and its importance in life, very well explained which rule to use as per your financial situation: 50/40/10 or 50/30/20 It tells why index investing is the most hassle free way of investing.
Best part is that the book is concise and yet sufficient to develop a framework.
Merged review:
Nice book
Short and crisp book. Good for learning the basics of personal finance. Very useful to people new to job. Just an hour read.
Short book with some no nonsense advice like focus on career and a 20 % hike, on the sidelines stay invested building the corpus. Stick to minimalist life, earn first then spend, 3 month go on a freeze on spending and build the emergency fund. Very basic stuff but good. Would have given 5 star if author focussed multiple chapters on how to reduce capital gain tax, while selling land, mutual funds, fd's
This book is especially good for beginners or someone new to job. It tells basic things one should perform to make their long term goals robust. It also tells what steps should be followed first. It tells how we treat money differently based on source of income, or where we intend to use.
I don't know how you could read a book without author details and experiences.
If you are going or planning to invite your money according to someone suggestion you can't trust on a beginner who don't have any experience in finance industry.
My suggestion is don't waste your time to read those book which is based on just copy & paste
The short read is a real and practical guide to action. All aspects are covered in lucid style. Puts things in perspective and lists wisdom gems in to easy to read and remember bullet points without sacrificing the essence. All young people should read this while starting their work and financial journey.
Must read - covered everything about personal finance
Author used simple language to explain difficult terms. Book will really help beginners as well as the ones who are confused with different investment options to take wise Financial decisions.
