Frantic [fran-tik] adjective; desperate or wild with excitement, passion, fear, pain, etc.
Professionally written and extremely fast-paced, “Frantic” is the standalone, reverse harem, dark romance, follow-up to the first novel in this Omegaverse series, “Frenzy”. From the onset, readers are catapulted directly into the intensely erotic story-line with the heroine captured, bound, displayed nude and completely humiliated before the entire city, awaiting her punishment. As the miscreant from the initial novel, “Frenzy”, the author effectively transforms Triss’s role from a reprobate character to a justifiably virtuous protagonist. Triss, the virginal omega, is in heat and soon discovered by three feral, savage alpha’s who demonstrate little leniency toward her plight. “Frantic” is an exciting, intensely erotic, dark romance with engaging characterizations, based on an unequal power exchange dynamic.

Wow! This was one super hot story. Triss is and Omega and is going to be punished. Instead of one Alpha claiming her, she gets 3 that claim her in public before a crowd who has come to watch. Lothgar, Ravick and Garret have claimed her but the story is just beginning!!! This book was such a page turner that I couldn't put the book down!! Intense, suspenseful and completely engaging. The story is very well written and the characters are believable. Sara Fields has another hit on her hands and I sure hope we get to see more in this dark world!!!
This is Omegaverse, if you don’t know what it is, please take the time to look it up before you judge this book. It may not be everyone’s cup of tea but it’s DEFINITELY Mine. *Grins*
Received this ARC for Honest Review I Give This Book a 3 out of 5 Star Rating.
Heat Level: 3.5/5 (there is a few scenes but it just felt like filler or it was a requirement.) Romance: 2.5/5 ((To Me) The fast pacing of this book didn’t have me entirely convinced) Drama: 3.5/5 HEA(?): It’s there, But sadly cause it was very fast paced it felt Stamped for me. Can’t wait for the next book, I hope it’s about Gemma. She caught my eye and I would love to have her get a book but I think it’s Nikki that might be next.
This was really fast paced. It was more squashed with information and the smexy scenes with Triss, but no actual relationship building for the foursome. The romance aspect wasn’t truly believable, it was more here’s a bond and here’s emotional ties and call it a day and let’s continue with the story. You really didn’t get to see Garret or Lothgar that much and they didn’t seem important to me as much as Ravick was. They only were truly significant in the smexy area. No character depth at all, that was a let down. And what Triss did in the previous book, it wasn’t truly brought up. She was punished but since you didn’t really get to know her... it kinda felt like she got forced redemption meaning like she got a book so like her.
This book was an ok read, but it’s not as good as the first.
Hopefully the next book or books won’t be as rushed.

Whoops! What an opening! I didn't expect it. Straight to the fucking in first chapters. Well, let's recap a bit. The first book, Frenzy is about the ex-head scientist from Tharia, Raven along with her three alphas. Raven got captured and humiliated by a jealous co-worker, Triss. Now, she got her own punishment. Bound and helpless to be claim by any alphas who is about scent her heat in the wild.
The three alphas got fight about the claim but Triss want them all. Triss lose her mind and embracing her omega nature. Garret (not to be confused with Geralt from The Witcher), the white-haired alpha who is the first arrive on the scene got first claim. Following, Lothgar (such a viking name), the wild looking alpha and the last, Ravick from the city itself. I must say, I haven't found the chemistry.
The plot is moving forward with a couple more fucking and claiming. Finally, Triss has come to her purpose. The dark truth about Tharia and Omega Sanctuary. Led by Nikki; the silver-haired woman who desperately need her help, Triss joined her rebellion. I'm starting to like Triss at this point. Her compassion to help other omega despite her ugly past.
I still didn't have feeling for the alphas. No one is memorable. They're just like 'complimentary'. Maybe Ravick is good enough among them. Because he's from the city and proved to be 'useful'. Overall, I'm on the fence with the story whether like or meh. I want to like it but it didn't feel like a full story. Lack of emotions (beside the amount of excessive fucking). More like a filler for the next book. Idk, maybe it is just me...
Most of this book takes place inside the dome from the Frenzy book's dome. Triss is being punished for her sins. She has taken revenge against a fellow scientist and it's now time to pay. Out side the dome, she's stripped naked and tied to a pole as her supression drugs wear off and she starts reverting to the Omega that she is. Alphas Garret, Lothgar and Ravick appear to claim the Omega. A fight will decide who wins her except for Triss is not having it. This reverse harem with alphas and omegas gets hot as h*ll and loaded with very much needed sex. The alphas do their best to help their omega through her heat, then band together to break out of the lab they find themselves prisoners in. Triss is the omega but also a sceintist and she just might have an answer to changing the way life is kept inside the dome. The wilds where there is no suppressant in the air is where alphas and omegas want to be. We had Frenzy then Frantic. I hope we have at least one more book so we can see what happens if the Alphas and Omegas fight back against their forced control under the Dome and the people that want to eliminate them completely. I enjoyed this story and hope for more.
Sara Fields is really killing the Omegaverse genre. I'm really enjoying reading her series, and the fact that you get not 1 but 3 hot Alphas? Oh he!!z yes. Sign me right up, please and thank you.
Triss has to be punished for what she has done, and in her case, the city is going to make the punishment fit the crime. They are going to stake her outside the walls, let the suppressant wear off, and let her estrous take her. Which yeah, sounds like so much fun for Triss, right? Poor lady. Luckily, she attracts 3 Alphas who are more than happy to help her out. Which does and doesn't make the city happy, I think.
I think the powers that be would rather she had suffered through her estrous all by herself so that they could keep watching her humiliation. OTOH, Alphas coming to her rescue could give the city something else to talk about, and something much more exciting to watch.
I like Triss, and her guys, Ravick, Lothar, and Garret. Two of them are from the wild and one is from the city, but they are all a lot the same. I think that they are going to be important in the next books, and I can't wait to see.
I’m a big fan of Sara Fields so when she decided to venture into the Omegaverse, I immediately bought her first book (Frenzy). Frantic is the second book in the series and it continues the story with the omega, Triss, the villain in Frenzy. But in this book, who Triss really is and her motivations are revealed, unveiling a rather different omega than first thought.
Because of her actions, Triss is forced to undergo a punishment that draws her three alphas to her (Ravick, Lothgar and Garrett). I won’t go further into the plot (read the blurb), but I will talk about the excellent storytelling, the wonderful story itself and the engaging characters that people it.
This is a fun read; I thoroughly enjoyed it and I look forward to the next book in this stand-alone series. Highly recommended.

It seems like Frantic was too short, and I loved it. Sara Fields is an excellent Author. I always look forward to her books! If you are looking for an intense read that will make you not want to put the book down, grab this book!
The great plot was well written and the characters were so well developed that as I turned each page the chemistry between the characters kept me totally hooked until the very last page!

This is the second of the Omega books that I have read by this author and I really enjoyed it. In this book we have Triss (from the first book) who is an Omega and with her have three Alphas, Garret and Lothgar from the wilds outside the city and Ravick who is from the city. Since Triss is in estrus the first thing the Alphas do is make her have sex with them one after another, after deciding not to fight each other. A bit later Triss gets spanked for disobedience first by Ravick and then they go with a belt and first Lothgar, then Garret and then Ravick use a belt on her. Later they get captured, but they all escape later and all three of them decide that they will try to help free the Omega Born in the City. So on to the next book for trying to free the Omegas in the city.
I found there was something missing in the story, I think it was the lack of angst. Don’t get me wrong it’s still a hot omegaverse reverse haram. The story moves at a fast pace. There is lots of sex, more sex and did I say sex? These characters are strong minded and they work well together. Everyone is equal in the dome over Tharia. You better be careful about doing bad things to others because it will back to you threefold. Unfortunately Triss didn’t think. There are no dynamics under the dome and you are just plain old human. I hope there is another book!
Whoa! My greatest curiosity was how to turn an opponent, a nasty person in another book into a story bearing heroine in this book. And the author managed this very well, not exaggerated but credible and fitting. Awesome! Super performance! Thank you Sara.
The entry was rapid, starting right where Triss was to land in Frenzy, for appropriate punishment at the stake. The suppressive drug weakened and Triss experienced what she had previously only observed in experiments, on her own body. The subsequent personality-changing development can be traced. Her self-knowledge, insight and remorse help to follow Triss's transformation from the disfavorable egoistic beast (Frenzy) to the committed, compassionate and strong Omega (Frantic) and to accept and like her as the heroine of the story. Now to love her as a wonderful delightful character, I am too vindictive for that. And greedy, because I need at least one more book in this universe, enough fire and thick skulls are left in Triss, so that she can still get into enough trouble and we got to know great new Omega's, which surely can tell an interesting, entertaining hot story.
Maybe it is not insignificant that this book starts with punishment, because that is also the starting point for finding Triss Alpha's, in this case 3. And these 3 guys are interesting and seductive according to their first description, have potential for depth and further development. But now comes my BUT - that's exactly what I miss in this book. The story as a whole is progressed and developed very well, new insights into the social order of the city arise, reprehensible abysses open up and necessities for action are obvious. BUT the exciting dynamic of the little Triss-Pack remains on the level of biological-genetic instincts, even if with great, outrageously hot scenes. Once followed nature's call, found and bound would have been some more pair/team building, understanding and background with character development already nice, especially regarding the 3 hot Alpha's. I would like to have more emotional connection to them, just more tingling. As I said, it doesn't harm the book, but of course I want more as an insatiable reader.
The result is a good book, an excellent sequel to the story with a captivating world, very well written, balanced, composed tension, fun and progress.
A clear recommendation with the desire for more ...
Frantic is the second book in Ms. Fields’ Omegaverse romance series, but can be read well as a stand alone. Triss is facing punishment for seeking revenge against an Omega. Bound, naked, and facing her own heat, she suffers a public claiming by three Alphas. But just as they are about to take her into the wilds with them, the four are captured and taken to be observed. Now, they must plan to escape, but when the Omegas plan a mission with Triss’ help, can her Alphas keep her safe and escape into the wilds?
Wow, this book was a wild adventure! Triss, Garret, Lothgar, and Ravick were bold in their claiming, brave in their escaping, and completely passionate when they were together. What I found really interesting about this story is that Triss often referred to her Omega nature as being a different entity within herself, instead of just being part of her nature. It was fascinating to have her Alphas be from both the wilds and from the city, so us readers get their perspective from both sides of the wall and could essentially see nature vs nurture within their whole relationship. I loved watching Triss go from a nasty persona full of revenge to completely accepting and embracing her Omega role. Garret, Lothgar, and Ravick were completely dominant, but all brought something different to their relationship and to their escape to happiness, and my biggest complaint would just be to have some extra scenes of the guys getting to know each other, beyond just their connection to Triss. I also really loved the strength you could find in the Omegas in this story. The city is definitely the villain in the storyline, trying to punish all Omegas and Alphas and I loved that I got to read not just a romance, but also a story about finding that inner strength, liberation, hope, and unity! I really enjoyed reading this book and already can’t wait for the next book!
When I finished this story I was a little confused. It seemed like there was something that happened before this book but I couldn't see that it was part of a series. It certainly made sense as a stand-alone story but, at the same time, it felt like it was part of something bigger.
I wasn't wrong. Apparently, Frantic is a stand-alone story but happens in the same world as other stories so it becomes an interwoven thing. Before this book was Frenzy, which I did not read, so just as information, you should check it out if you're interested in what happens as a whole in this world created by Sara Fields.
Triss is bound outside of the city to let the wild alphas get their way with her. The need she feels is painful and all-consuming. Three alphas arrived and take care of her, only to be captured by the same scientific community that Triss was working for. I won't say more about this because... spoilers.
This is not my first Sara Fields book and I have to say I'm still happy to have picked this one up, no matter the confusing thoughts at times. She writes so well and her stories are always interesting. She also tends to make you fall in love or at least very interested in her characters within each book in a way that you want to know more.
A steamy book as always and I loved those parts. I don't know how she does it but the scenes were sexy times occurs between characters are always so hot that you have to get something to bring down the heat later on.
If you like stories about dystopian worlds or futuristic situations with a lot of steam in them, you may want to give Sara Fields books a go *smile*

This was suppose to be a sequel but it doesn't add up!
When we left off in Frenzy the alphas had taken Triss and delivered her to their tribe for punishment. When Frantic started Triss is in the city and they're the ones punishing her?? How the heck did this come about?? So once Triss and her three Alphas have been subdued they're in a cell and Triss is rescued by a silver haired omega named Niki. They come up with this grand plan to save the omega's by causing an uprising in the city by replacing the suppressant serum that keeps the omega's and Alphas real side in check. Which was a very stupid plan, they were so sure they would be able to fight their natural sides long enough to escape. However it ended with a bunch of omega's getting claimed by Alphas. The book ended with Triss and her guys making plans to raid the city and free the Alphas and the Omegas. One more thing that was said that didn't match up to the authors story it was told to Triss that once back inside the city the alphas and omega's were not longer effected by the suppressant, when reading earlier in the story Triss and her three Alphas all were effected by the same serum. Even if some said it was because the alphas and omega's had been exposed to Niki and Triss antisuppresant Rivik had been injected with it intentionally by Niki and yet he started to feel the effects of the suppressant as well so those were some of the many flaws in this authors story I couldn't figure out. I didn't care for this one at all.
This is by far my favorite world that Ms. Field has created. It definitely has the darker themes of dominance and submission that you expect to see in an Omegaverse world, but the concept of the betas trying to wipe out the alphas and Omega because of their animalistic tendencies if a new one. This book picks up with the naughty Omega, Triss, who we met at the end of Frenzy. She was the one who switched suppressants with Raven and caused her to go into heat while on a mission in the wilds, all because Triss was jealous of Raven for an alpha looking her and not getting the top job. We all know what punishment a naughty Omega gets? I can't write it here cause Amazon will block this review. Let's just say she'll get stuffed by alpha rooster, if you know what I mean. This feisty red-head isn't done getting up to trouble though, she's going to try to enlist some new friends to join her in some mayhem and maybe set right a few wrongs. I can't wait for a few more books in this world. Don't read this book and expect gentle love scenes. These are rough animals and if it offends, don't read. It's a world that is created for these characters in these settings. That being said, it's a love that is willing given through submission knowing that the dominate will care for the submissive.

An extremely good, fast-paced omegaverse reverse harem dark romance, it is set in a post-apocalyptic dystopian future. The story-line is well-thought out and written with a suspenseful plot, which certainly kept my attention. The characters are unique & quite well-developed with individual personalities, they entwine well with each other with regards to the situation they find themselves in and react with realistic & believable emotional feelings. There is: a feisty female omega who is facing public punishment due to a act of revenge (Triss), the three alpha males who claim her (Garrett, Lothgar & Ravick), a Genwall corporation, a seemingly helpful omega (Niki), omega sanctuaries/prisons, resistance groups, twists & turns, intrigue, suspense, drama, adventure, action, danger, threats, suppression serum, public punishment, harsh judgment, humiliation, vulnerability, devious plans, scientific experiments, defiance, spanking, punishment, shame, despair, domination/submission, manipulations, conflict, violence, rebellion, chaos, claiming, bonding, love, explicit steamy scenes & a pending war. Although this book does end in a cliffhanger, I really enjoyed reading it & look for to the next book in this series with great anticipation.
This story is I believe the second or third I read about the Alphas and Omegas, it truly is surreal to read but still in a fun way. What I find just really troublesome are all the spelling mistakes and thus I am taking this story down by a star from what I would have liked to give it. So it gets three stars. I normally send the author typos when there are like two or three in the whole book, but OMG - in this one there were sometimes three in the same sentence!!!!! That is just too much. Please have your stories edited by either someone who knows grammar better or send them out one day later after they have been proofread at least a bit better, this ruins the reading expereience by quite a large margin and makes reviews probably from more than just me less favourable than it would otherwise have been. As such I liked the story, outlandish as it is and I think this one even might be a bit better than the first one I read.... So I am actually looking forward to hearing about the fight and maybe Nikki in the next story??

WOWSER The meeting between The omega and her Alphas is enough to make my blood pump a lot faster. Meeting sounds so much nicer than what it really was. Triss had been tied to spread eagle in front of the whole city. They were waiting for her Alphas to come and take her to punish her. Embarrass her make her pay for her sins. But when Three Alphas start to fight for her she just wants them all. begs for them all to take her, use her punish her. After the act ( which you really need to read yourself because its so hot) Triss, Garret, Ravick and Lothgar were captured and taken back to the city to be studied. Its magically the bond they have for each other. But help is at hand for Triss. And Triss could help the other Omegas who were being kept. Now Triss is trying to help with the suppressive and Garret, Ravick and Lothgar are just trying to get out of the city and back with there Omega. This is a thriller it kept me on the edge of my seat and yes some chapters are so hot. Its a brilliant read!

The alphas and omegas within the city have their mating instinct suppressed by an air born suppressant in an attempt to limit the number of alphas born in the city. The ruling betas feared that they would become too strong and overpower the city ruling elite. Tris had broken the rules and had escaped from the city only to be recaptured and returned. Her mating instinct no longer under control, she had been taken and mated by three alphas with all the inmates of the city looking on, proving to the population what would happen to anyone avoiding the suppressants. This was a highly charged story, the characters becoming the alphas they were meant to be. Tris soon recognised that the men were her mates as they recognised her as their own fated omega. I was captivated by this story, her mates love completed her and she knew they would die to protect her. I abhorred the practice of suppressing the natural urges of some of the population for selfish reasons and hope to read more about the characters in the book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and have voluntarily read and honestly reviewed this book.
I've decided that Sara Fields could write any type of story and do no wrong. I have loved everything I have read by her even though they are all so different. This is her jump into the Omegaverse world and she does a fantastic job. Her characters have every characteristic that make this such a fun trope. There is the instant attraction, the submission that is impossible to resist, the heat, the nesting, the anger about being an Omega that turns into this passion that can't be denied... If you have experienced any of these stories you know what I'm talking about, and if you haven't then you really need to. This story is a sequel to Frenzy but it's also a stand alone, for the most part, and you could enjoy it even if you haven't read Frenzy first. It focuses on Triss getting the punishment she deserves and the men who find her. Yeah, that's all I'm giving away about the plot. I'm just going to say that it is hot and messy. The pace of this one is a little bit fast, it's not a very long story, but I didn't find it lacking in any way. There were plenty of sexy scenes, a well written plot line, and enjoyable characters. I'm really looking forward to the next book in this series.
If you read “Frenzy,” you knew this story was coming. We pretty much pick up where we left off at the end of that book with Triss being taken away. Now we are going to find out what happens to her. She was such a B#@*& to Raven. Finding out that they both were Omega’s. Triss is now going to experience what it is like when the suppressant is no longer in her system.
Garret, Lothgar, and Ravick all are alpha’s and are drawn to Triss via her scent. It takes Triss’ plea to have to stop fighting and realize that they need to be one. When the men take her, it is one heck of a steamy, humiliating, sweaty, experience. I’m glad Triss realize what Raven was going through. Everything was simple in under the Dome but not anymore. The men each had their own strengths and differences. Triss does still act spoiled but her men handle that. Genwell is the real problem here. If it wasn’t for them and this suppressant all would be fine. Now I have to say that the hot steamy kinky sex…..OMG. At times I thought that was not going to be comfortable. But beyond that there is a “war” coming. The Dome has to come down and the Alphas and Omegas are planning.
Our heroine is being punished by staking her out for the savages outside the dome. In actually, she is more like bait.
This is an interesting SF story with lots of steamy elements, punishment (mostly spanking) and a reverse harem. Normally I tend to like all these elements, but there was something here that just didn't gel for me. There were a lot of different characters, plots, and turnabouts that made it very confusing at times and I had a hard time keeping track of what was going on. I did enjoy some of the action, but it seemed too over the top for me to really get into it.
I also have not read the first book, which I think was part of my problem. While this is a self-contained story, I think reading the first one would have given me a better understanding of the setting and maybe I could have followed this one better.
If you read the first book and enjoyed it, then you should enjoy this one as well. If not, I recommend you try that one first.

This is book 2 of the Omegaborn Trilogy by Sara Fields and Tris, the wayward Omega scientist from the first book is receiving her punishment for trying to sabotage her colleague. She's to be bound outside the city walls without the protection of the suppressant drugs that keep her feral nature from driving her insane with the need to mate. She's to be made an example of and her vulnerable state soon attracts three feral Alphas who pick up on her scent. Lothgar, Ravick and Garret claim her but thats only the beginning of the story, Tris and her Trio of Alphas are now being studied by her previous team and they have to do whatever it takes to throw the city into chaos, rescue the other imprisoned Omegas and escape out into the wilds where they can be together. Told in dual narration this was a short but kinky story where humans exist in three forms, Omega, Alpha and Beta, where society is doing whatever it can to eradicate the feral nature.
Sara Fields is one of my first click authors for the reason is that I just love reading her books, and Frantic doesn’t disappoint. With a heroine who is strong, feisty, and brave with a bit of sass thrown in and her Alphas that are dominate, battle scarred handsome brutes so it continues on where the first book Frenzy finishes but with Triss who tried to get revenge on Raven and her Alphas. But that is where the story changes, after Triss has been punished and bonded to her Alphas she was broken out of the place she was kept and joined a cause to help save other Omegas that have been kept prisoned in a “sanctuary” where abuse reigns and Triss helps to effect a break out. But with plot twists, action and drama once you start this book it’s very hard to put it down and for that it’s a five star read...

This was a really great book. Triss was the scientist that worked with Raven in the Lab at Genwell. Because she was only working to get her revenge against Raven it backfired and Triss is now at the pole being tied almost in full estrous waiting for the Alphas to show up and give the city under the Central Dome the opportunity to watch her humiliation with her Alpha. Problem is, three Alphas show up, Garret, Lothgar, and Ravick. This was so erotic and sinful and exciting. The only thing that I didn't like was when all three were taking the omega and they would rotate they used her mouth straight from her anus without cleaning it. Nothing implied that they were clean. I don't mind which place they used her but from butt to mouth just was gross. It was an exciting book and I can't wait for the next book to come out. This has plenty of action, loved the characters. Next please.

Holy hell this was one crazy journey to listen to in Audio. A reverse harem story of a foursome that not only have hard, crazy and intense sex but they also form this insanely strong bond that is unbreakable between them. Triss is such a strong female that when she is left to be humiliated while in heat in front of the whole City, a city she once called home she made it through barely but stronger than ever. She also gained three alphas that have tied themselves to her and each other and would die for her. Great story, very different about a world that tries to control those they fear. All three of the alphas are hot in their own way and so different which I love. The supporting cast is also really good and I want more of what happens next.
Sarah Puckett and Jack Calihan dos an exceptional job with all the different voices and the narration. Didn’t sound all the same and the intensity of the scenes were amazing.
