Phoenix is the lead singer for the band and hes also a huge player. Harlow is going to stay with her brother for the summer who also happens to be the bass player in a bad. This is a great opportunity for her seeing as she wants to be a music journalist. So far the guys are great but she knows Phoenix is trouble with a capital T. This prequel has you drooling for the first book. Can not wait to see what happens between Harlow and Phoenix.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Very good introduction 4,5 Good introduction of the character of Phoenix, who is not very pleasant as he takes pleasure in his choices of sex and rock n 'roll, facing Harlow (the half-sister of one of the other musician) who hates the way women behave with them and how Phoenix, among other things, responds to their advances. However, we feel that Pnoenix does not want to stop there. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book
This is my absolute favourite genre rockstars, bands etc add in some suspense and a rockstar who is a dominant and that’s the makings of a fantastic story actually it’s a prequel and I can’t wait to read more in this series. Phoenix hasn’t yet found a woman who he can’t conquer until he meets his bandmates sister Harlow, Harlow knows that Phoenix is trouble but he see’s Harlow as a challenge. Fantastic story I loved it and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.
Fledgling rock band playing to get a following in hopes of securing a contract. Asher invites his step-sister Harlow to stay for the summer before she heads to college. Phoenix is the bad boy lead singer with plenty of swagger and an attitude to match. Harlow isn't the little girl Asher knew before, she's gone Goth Barbie. Phoenix sees her as a challenge but there's something she's hiding and she wants to keep her distance

Other than a few grammatical faux pas, the writing itself was adequate. This particular story highlighted dramatically why I am particularly averse to this style of writing: there is actually no dynamic tension in bouncing back and forth between the perspectives of the two principle characters.
Two damaged people find each other during a time when one of them is trying to get his band off and running and the other is a band mate's little sister. So things are kept quiet, but are hot and cold all the time. Until feelings start to show and things get messy. But then a third person from the background shows up and things change again.
I loved Phoenix & Harlow. Great characters. It was a fun start to a new series. Looking forward to more. I received a free copy of the book. And am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.
This was a very quick read for me and it definitely left me wanting more. I loved the introduction of Phoenix and Harlow! I can't wait to read more of this series!
