Loved the characters and the witty banter, of course.

I was a little concerned that it would turn into a series of slapstick comedy routines, but thankfully it didn't. Ashley was not a total klutz, just when completely out of her element.
I liked that their close friends and family liked Wyatt and Ashley as a couple before they saw the possibility of being a couple.
I like that they secretly saw the other in sweet moments when there was no other audience––what you do when no one is looking is very telling about your character.

I also loved seeing friends from previous books pop in to this one.

Yet another awesome read by Shanna Hatfield and this is a laugh-out-loud, feel-good read if I've ever read one! I've always been a fan of Wyatt Nash after having read some of the other books in this series, Rodeo Romance. I've really got to read all the other books in this series soon because I can never go wrong with a Shanna Hatfield book to raise my spirits and dare I saw give me hope that there just might be fairy tale endings in real life too. Shanna really astounded me with the theme of this book, she really out did herself with this plot!

Wyatt Nash is a professional tie-down roper and when his biggest Rodeo Sponsor, Jon Sinclair, asks him for his assistance with a project he has he needs Wyatt's assistance with he feels like he can't refuse. The project turns out to be Wyatt tutoring a city girl all about Sinclair industries and its vast array of farming and rodeo equipment.

Ashley Jarrett is the city girl who owns her own small publicity firm in Los Angeles and accepts Jon Sinclair's proposal to learn his business through hands-on-projects to learn all about what Sinclair Industry and is products are all about. A very lucrative proposal that will challenge every fiber of Ashley's being and take her completely out of her comfort zone over and over again. Little does Ashley know but she is going to be trained and filmed by a cowboy that will infuriate, challenge and completely entice her into second guessing her life as she knows it as a city girl. Ashley becomes an overnight internet sensation with her city girl mishaps and flat out hilarious blunders that become viral videos of "how not do to things"! Wyatt's niece Livey appears in several of the videos showing Ashley how to do many of these country things the right way. These videos turn out to be the perfect way to promote Sinclair Industries and it's projects. Can Ashley complete all of Sinclair's proposals and be around this cowboy, his family and community for an extended period of time doing things she never thought she ever be doing or will Los Angeles call her back home.

If you need a laugh-out-loud, sweet romance, this is definitely the book to read!

Shanna Hatfield never ceases to amaze me with her writing talent.
As a daughter of a tie-down calf roper, this story truly spoke volumes to my heart and soul.

Roping Christmas was such a fun, hilarious book, which wrapped around me like a warm cocoon.

Wyatt and Ashley, as opposite as two individuals could possibly be, become such a perfect couple.
Their strengths and weaknesses feed off the other’s, as in a perfect dance routine.
I love how Ms. Hatfield takes two unsuspecting individuals and creates the perfect scenarios for friendship, falling in love and everlasting happiness.

I haven’t laughed so hard since I read her epic Farm Girl book. I truly believe many of the shenanigans incorporated in this sweet romance, came from Ms. Hatfield’s own experiences growing up in rural Oregon.

Wyatt’s little niece Livy is such a sweet energetic spitfire, she truly stole the show on more than one occasion. Her love for her Uncle Wyatt and Ashley is infectious. She’s truly a character who needs her own book. This little princess cowgirl will be stealing the hearts of many cowboys in the future.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves romance, rodeo, and gut wrenching laughs.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy from the Author. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.Roping Christmas by Shanna Hatfield is a humourous and wonderful tale of finding love and what truly matters to you.
Will Ashley and Wyatt find true happiness with each other?
Ashley
Ashley is such a wonderful character. She is intelligent, beautiful, organized, and ambitious. Ashley also has patience because I don't know if I could endure some of the things that she has to do to earn the contract of her dreams. However, with the help of friends and family Ashley takes the humiliation in stride and whips out a bit of retribution at the same time.

The one thing that Ashley did that bothered me, probably as much as it did her, was not being prepared for the first assignment that Mr. Sinclair gave her. However, she seemed to have gotten a handle on it after that. Ok, for the most point, anyway.

Ashley is a great character, and she fits in with the rest of the rodeo guys and girls quite well.
Roping Christmas CRWyatt
Wyatt is great; he is going about his own business when Mr. Sinclair calls in a favor and turns his world upside down. Wyatt is tasked with teaching Ashley, or "Crashley," as he nicknames her, how to use all of the different products that Mr. Sinclair produces. Most of which you can find at your local feed store, which may also be owned by Mr. Sinclair's companies. The thing that Wyatt doesn't realize is that Mr. Sinclair is also a matchmaker.

Wyatt is great with his family and especially his adorable niece. He is a calf roper in the rodeo, and yet, he lacks confidence when it comes to Ashley and his feelings for her. I do love the way that they introduce each other to their families.
The Families
Their grandparents are hoots. Wyatt's Meemaw and Pawpaw are so fabulous. They make me miss my own grandparents. Ashley's Granny and her bath rug made me laugh out loud.

Wyatt's niece Livy is adorable and steals the show once when she is around. Here is a quote from Livy to Wyatt.
"If you're gonna marry Ashley and have babies for me to play with, you better figure out a way to be nice to her, Uncle Wyatt. She could be your very own princess, maybe even a queen."

Five Stars
My rating for Roping Christmas is five stars. I absolutely love how Shanna Hatfield envisions this wonderful world with these amazing characters and creates these humourous situations to bring them together. She is a brilliant storyteller. I highly recommend this and any of her books. I haven't found one that I didn't like.

I have loved all the books in this series and I love this one as well. It has such a good and fun theme to wrap this story around that it is so different from the others. Ashley our heroine does advertising to promote companies and also sets up events as well, and is so good at it, she is going after one of her biggest accounts This story is so good it was hard to put down. Wow, I loved the rest of the books to date if she can get this, it will be more profit for her than all her other companies combined. But the owner, who owns several companies, wants her to do some projects he gives her along the way to see if she is a good fit.
He also wants one of his rodeo guys who he sponsors to help her in each project and this will go for about four to five months.
Wyatt our hero in this fun story is a calf roper in the rodeo and wants to win the title in December in Las Vegas, and he has a lot of work to do and rodeos to place high enough just to get there.
Both of these two are very motivated in what they do. The biggest thing for Ashley is she didn’t know at first that she was being video taped while she was doing each thing and the first one just about made her quit.
That was bad enough, but when she found out is was taped and but online and going viral she really hated this handsome hot shot rodeo guy.
Just imagine her being taped each time she is doing one of the tasks she has to do to earn this contract! Meantime Wyatt can’t stop falling a little bit in love with her and her grit, as she is after all a city girl doing rural ranch work with the items she must promote and learn how to use them.
This is a fun, very often hilarious story that will make you laugh out loud, smile a lot while you are reading and still think about it when you are done. It fun, laugh out loud, sometimes serious to make you cringe and want to really cheer for each main character and there is a cute little girl that is Wyatt’s niece who is making Ashley feel just a little like settling down which was never in her vocabulary before.
Read this the fantastic story and you will love it for sure and it will make you have a happy time doing so.
I received a copy to read with no expectations to review. However, with that in mind, I knew I wanted to review as this story is just that good. I highly recommend this to anyone who loves romance and rodeos.

Shanna Hatfield never fails to entertain her readers with her distinctive brand of heart, humor and hope. In Roping Christmas (Rodeo Romance Book 8), Wyatt Nash, confirmed bachelor and champion tie-down roper is content with his life…or so he thought. But when Mr. Sinclair, his billionaire sponsor, is looking for a new publicity agent to increase sales on his many holdings, he recruits Wyatt to take on city girl, Ashley Jarrett before he offers her the position. “Babysitting” the young beauty is not on Wyatt’s to-do list. Besides running Nash’s Folly with his sister and brother-in-law, and niece Livy (a real firecracker!), he is working hard every day to earn his way to the rodeo finals in Las Vegas.
Though he is initially against the idea, Wyatt takes on the assignment with often hilarious results courtesy of a series of videos which quickly makes “Crashley” Ashley a social media sensation. With each new assignment comes a box from Mr. Sinclair with the appropriate tools. (The scene where Ashley dons a pair of “preg” gloves is hilarious). For her part, Ashley, at first balks at some of the jobs but soon realizes that Wyatt is not only a patient, good-hearted, good-humored man, but an attractive one as well.
With detailed descriptions of each assignment, Ms. Hatfield not only weaves a romance but a tapestry of rodeo cowboys’ life on and off the circuit. Through her lens, the reader learns of the many industries which support the rodeo cowboy as well as the men and women who run ranches and farms in our country…they have earned this reader’s undying support and gratitude.
As in all of her books, Ms. Hatfield’s secondary characters add a richness to the plot and move the story along. Catching up with the characters from the previous Rodeo Romances Books 1-7 is always a treat. And it was especially sweet to recall Wyatt’s ancestors, Garrett and Aundy Nash (Pendleton Petticoats Book One).
Brimming with a sassy heroine, a hunky rodeo man, laugh-out-loud moments, and a happily ever after that will have you reading this book more than once, Roping Christmas will warm your heart this holiday season.

Life is good for champion professional tie-down roper and confirmed bachelor Wyatt Nash. His billionaire rodeo sponsor, John Sinclair, owns a huge conglomeration of high quality farming, ranching, outdoor and rodeo companies and he is looking for a talented publicity agency to increase his visibility and profits. Ashley Jarrett may fit the bill. She is young, beautiful, driven, intelligent, but a life-long city slicker. Mr. Sinclair calls on his saddle-bred die-hard country boy Wyatt to take Ashley through a series of tasks as a test before he offers Ms. Jarrett this huge opportunity. Not knowing the front end of a horse from the rear, she is dragged through a series of tasks by Wyatt who is patient, sweet natured and irresistibly attractive. The tasks are all camera-recorded with hysterical results. I was grinning so hard from Ashley's shenanigans I thought my face would break! The podcasts of Ms. Jarret's bumbling disasters become wildly popular on-line, much to her dismay. Yet, she is doggedly determined with good humor and courage to complete them while dishing it out as well as taking it. Wyatt is a class guy and an ancestor of one of Pendleton's finest, most loved pioneer families: Garrett and Aundy Nash. His sister lives in the original homestead, Nash's Folly. (See Pendleton Petticoats #1, Aundy) Wyatt's adorable young niece, Livy, is a firecracker who has no filter and is instrumental in brazenly trying to get the country boy and the city girl together permanently. Is there any chance at all? The two mentioned more than once that John Sinclair reminded them of Santa Clause. Is there some magical Christmas match-making going on here? This is #8 in Shanna Hatfield's Rodeo Romances series and, for me, the very best of all of them. No author brings total opposites together better, from initial magnetic attraction to the inevitable conclusion, than Shanna Hatfield.

I love Shanna Hatfield’s books and tried really hard to like this one, but it was hard to get past what Wyatt did to Ashley. He left her to figure out for herself how to clean out a horse stall when she has no experience working on a farm. Without her knowledge he videotapes her making a fool of herself and a mess and then shows how his young niece Livy who I’m sure was shown many times what to do can do a much better job. That video is then posted online for others to laugh at. Ashley was mad, but I would have been so hurt and humiliated. It reminded me of high school when the bullies would laugh at and trip me in the hallway. Thankfully that was before the internet or my humiliation would have been shared with so many too. I loved his precious little niece Livy who finds such joy in everything. But it was hard to think of Wyatt as a good and nice guy after that stunt especially when he kept looking for Ashley to screw up so he could post more humiliating videos about her.

this is a warm wonderful story about Wyatt and Ashley who are put together by his sponsor and her new client, for her to use the equipment he owns and Wyatt is to teacher and take videos and photos of her learning. you will also meet others from different books and Wyatt 's great great grandparents are Aundy and Garret Nash. she is a city girl thrown into the country and rodeo life. you will laugh and laugh at the things that happen, you will meet his niece and all the animals. if you are looking for a well written and charming story that is set at Christmas time you will want to read this story. i was given a copy of the book but this is an honest review. this could be a stand alone but you will want to read the rest because they are so good

Love the Rodeo Romance Series!!! Ashley is definitely a city girl and can’t imagine living anywhere else. In walks a man that looks like Santa with a great job offer but to get the job she has to complete a list of country girl tasks. To make it more interesting, she has to be monitored (and filmed) by a hunky rodeo cowboy. Wyatt can’t really say no when his top sponsor asks him to handle the task. You will laugh so hard you cry as Ashley completes the list—and falls in love with Wyatt. Throw in a loveable five-year-old girl and you have a sweet love story that you can’t stop reading! It’s also great to catch up with the cowboys and their families from the earlier books. Shanna Hatfield brings the people and places in her books to life. Don’t miss Roping Christmas!

Ashley is eager to sign a advertising contract but the owner wants her to get a taste of all she’s going to work with. He assigned a handsome rodeo roper to follow her adventure, and what an adventure it is. Wyatt was asked by his sponsor to keep him informed of Ashley’s tasks. This is the start of a hilarious set of tasks for a city girl with no experience. But when their attraction starts to grow what kind of future will they have when their goals in life are so different?
Again a laughing out loud story by Shanna but that’s not the only reason to want to read this. The interaction of main and side characters are so fun and sweet and Wyatt’s cousin is so adorable. Don’t hesitate, just start reading!

This is the first book by Shanna Hatfield that I have read and I found it to be very enjoyable. I loved the cowboy and rodeo theme that was in the book. I also loved how the main characters didn’t want to be attracted to each other and didn’t think they would ever have anything in common but as they got to know each other they found that they could love each other. I loved how there was some matchmaking going on to get the couple together and I loved the little girl who told them from the beginning that they should get married. It was a cute story.

I received a complimentary book from publishers, publicists, and or authors.  A review was not required and all opinions and ideas expressed are my own.

Fantastic characters! This is such a fun story that will have you laughing and smiling all the way through. Such a brilliant plot that just gets better as the story progresses. I really enjoyed all the family and friends who helped each other out and contributed to making this such a great story. So much more to this story than just the sweet clean romance, rodeos, ranch life and of course the city girl learning to work on a ranch. I caught myself skimming pages because I was so caught up in the story and excited to see what would happen next. Incredible story from beginning to end !
Was given a complimentary copy. All opinions are my own.

Roping Christmas is a delightful read for the upcoming Christmas season! I felt like I was reading a Hallmark movie! Author Shanna Hatfield knows her way around ranches, rodeos, and road trips. With detailed descriptions, she makes each scene interesting without bogging it down. I enjoyed the interactions between the hero and the heroine as they got to know each other and as they learned some things about themselves and the things that really matter in the process. I loved the other characters, too. They added a warm, loving feeling to the story. I don’t know what else to say...I loved everything about this story!

This book is laugh out loud funny. I got so many weird looks as I was reading it and chuckling away … I should also warn you that you will not want to put it down. I love this series but this book is fantastic - the humour, silliness just got better and better. There were so many wonderful ideas thrown into a beautiful rodeo romance that I think this book has to be a favourite. And that’s saying a lot because I think all Shanna Hatfield’s books are awesome but this one is really next level.
An engaging, laugh-out-loud story you won’t want to put down. Treat yourself today! I cannot recommend this one enough.

I really enjoyed this story. Wyatt and Ashley are so good together, it's too bad they think it can't happen for them. Wyatt is a country boy and Ashley is such a city girl. When she is tasked with learning a business from all angles, she realizes that she totally out of her depth. With the help of the good look cowboy, Ashley learns a bunch of new things, like cleaning out a horse trailer, gathering eggs, fishing and many other things. All of these things are a real challenge for this usually self assured woman. As Wyatt helps her, he gets to see the whole package and longs to make her his. But, she won't leave the city and he won't leave the country. How can they make it?

Roping Christmas (Rodeo Romance Book 8)

Another delightful book from one of my very favorite authors, Shanna Hatfield. I always look forward to this time of year for the newest books to some of my favorite series written by Shanna. This is a sweet and lovely Christmas story of two trying to overcome what seems to be impossible to them but so easily figured out by the family. I love the characters of Wyatt and Ashley, just as I have loved all the other characters in this series from the beginning. This book is filled with laughter, romance, happy couples who care, support and love each other, along with one adorable little girl who touched my heart. Very entertaining and as always, a beautiful and satisfying ending. JudyE

I enjoyed this book. Wyatt and Ashley are put together by the sneeky Mr. Sinclair. Mr Sinclair is a business man and Ashley is trying to go into business with him and Wyatt is a rodeo cowboy that Sinclair is one of his sponsors. Mr Sinclair sends them boxes of things from his various businesses which has an assigned task for Ashley to do and this girl is totally City. Wyatt is assigned as the task Master. These assignments put them into some hilarious situations. It is a good book and so funny. Read it you will enjoy it.

The familiar cast of characters help Wyatt and Ashley find their happily ever after. Mr Sinclair has a plan to have his number one rodeo sponsor oversee the challenges Ashley needs to complete in order to familiarize her with all his business interests in preparation for acquiring a contract.

She surprises everyone in her willingness to complete them, asking for help and gaining confidence along the way. She and Wyatt realize they're made for each other but when circumstances intervene at his family's holiday open house. Can they overcome the misunderstanding to forge a future together?

Ashley and Wyatt are at such odd ends of the spectrum and both think there is no way that something could ever come of a long distance relationship but "Santa" shows up and through several forays together into various life learning journeys love wins out at the very end - such a delight to read another of Shanna's books - always look forward to her humor and daily life endeavors!! I read a book funnel copy and freely leave my review!!

Absolutely heartwarming love story full of funny and swoon worthy moments. Ashley Jarrett is a big city girl through and through. She's determined to do whatever it takes to land this new account and start off the new year with a new account. You can take the girl out of the city, but can you take the city out of the girl?
Who has ever had to compete or do certain tasks to win a contract? Well, enjoy this little adventure that Ashley has begun. It’s totally hilarious and you will chuckle all the way through this book.
What a fun read!
Well done, Shanna and thanks, Captain Cavedweller, for all the suggestions you made. They were priceless!

"Roping Christmas" was a fun book to read. The characters, Ashley and Wyatt are very lovable and I enjoyed all the crazy adventures they got into. The book is part of a series, but I haven't read the previous ones. (I plan to). You can read this book alone, but I think reading the previous books will help you to know who many of the other characters in the story are. In these stressful times, "Roping Christmas" was a great escape!

Great story

Trevor is still a question mark. I thought this story might be about Trevor after the way he was presented @ the end.
Nash meets & must teach ranching & the outdoors to Ashley, according to his sponsor. She'd responded to the Sponsor's request-for-proposal for marketing his companies.
Ashley is a city girl & presents some hilarious scenes as she learns about ranching, animals & farms.
A full-of-humor story.

Excellent story!

This is a good reading story! Ashley is determined to have a successful business. She is so career minded that she has no time for dating. She is trying to get a contract with Mr. Sinclair, but he has certain tasks she must perform. He wants her to really get to know about all of his products. He also wanted Wyatt to accompany her for each tasks. These are totally opposite people. Read to enjoy all the happenings they go through.
