William Evans outlines ten Biblical doctrines. His work is well organized and touches on most of the points people have questions on. Not every point is in-depth, nor will the average reader agree with every thing his asserts, nonetheless it is a good starting point to become familiar with the doctrines, and he provides plenty of Bible verses as references to lead the serious reader into a deeper study of each subject.
This is a good coverage of the Biblical basis of Catholic theology. Covering everything from the nature of the Trinity to the Resurrection of the Dead, you will be almost overwhelmed with references and connections to theological and Christian doctrine. A good read.
I found Evans book to be a thorough rendering of the word of God on every major teaching in Christianity. I learned so much and will use it as a reference when preparing to share on any of theses doctrines in the future. It's only annoyance was its typos.
I really like how the book was laid out which made it useful as a reference book too. Not familiar with a term? Easily look it up and read about it. Interested in a topic? Easy to find and learn.
An overall very good book that skillfully guides the reader into foundational Biblical doctrine. Explanations and descriptions were (usually) skillfully presented. A good reference for new and mature Christian alike.
However, this work needed better editing. Sprinkled throughout this work are misspellings and awkwardly worded sentences.
Also, Evans was sometimes too dogmatic. Sometimes his assertions were more emotional than apologetic in nature.
This was a freebie Kindle eBook that will remain a permanent part of my library.

The book systematically covers key theological topics and draws on Scripture to provide clear explanations and practical applications. He makes biblical teachings understandable to all who read it.
