Ruthless Empire is a collection of dark mafia romances encompassing the Varasso Brtohers and the women they fall in love with. Ruthless Empire is a series of 5 books one for each brother except Alessandro got two. The oldest is Luca in Fallen Knight then Marco in Cruel Prince then Alessandro in Dark King next is Gabriel in Merciless Queen and Check Mate. The brothers were all raised by their father to be strong, ruthless men with strong feelings of loyalty to the family and the women they married and loved. I have to say that for the most part their families (the woman they love and if they have them their children) ends up coming first not that they were raised that way but that is what happens. Alessandro ended up with two books as Check Mate is a continuation of Alessandro and Willow’s story. The finale in Check Mate ends with Willow saving the family. Each book included could have been read as a stand alone but to see the way the books interconnectedness with the brothers and their families it is best read as a series. For me, I was engrossed with each story. They might be interconnected but that doesn’t mean they were all the same or had the same problems. There were a lot of plots, secrets, lies, and sabotage throughout the series. In this Dark Mafia Romance series will encompass several genres and tropes. So there is a little bit for everyone. I can say I highly recommend this book for anyone who loves romances. Raven Scott and Seth Eden, authors, did a wonderful job as they wrote a series of books that can make you laugh, cry, feel loss, pain, passion, love, and so many other emotions. There were a lot of ups downs and twist and turns with things going sideways a time or two. To me that is the ultimate way to tell if a book is a great 5 star read vs a 1 or 2 star were all you are reading is dry retelling with no emotional investment it so with that in mind I can say that Seth and Raven did an excellent job with Ruthless Empire. Hope you will take my advice and read this series as it is a steal as you can get 5 books for the price of one that are absolutely captivating and engrossing books. Best of all you don’t have to wait for the next book to come out as you will have the whole series in your hands. You will not regret getting this collection of books.

Molly Green has been taking care of her sister for a very long time her father went to prison and her mother left one day and never came back. Molly had to do things she didn't want to do but she would do anything for her little sister, now her sister is grown and she is practically living with her boyfriend when he is on leave from the Air Force. Molly is upset with her previous employer and she goes online and makes fun of a man she saw Varasso and when she is snatched out of her bed in the middle of the night she will not let them scare her until one man in the room stops Angelo Varasso from blowing her head off. That man was Luca the eldest Varasso son. He offers her a proposition she cannot refuse if she ever wants to see her sister Tara again, she takes the job and before she can get started disaster happens, Luca realizes that he cares deeply for this woman and he will not let anyone of his brothers are anyone else kill her. Great storyline and the characters are very intriguing, Love, romance, and action-adventure. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Each of these books is about the four different Varasso brothers, all from a powerful Mafia family based in Philadelphia. The brothers all get their own story about how they found and then fell for the woman that would become their queen. Some are darker than others but all of the books are well written, have an engaging and emotional story-line and well developed characters. The Varasso men are dark and have what seems like a bottomless pit to their depth and the women are all strong, intelligent, beautiful and will get what they want, even if they do not yet know exactly what they is.

In this hot steamy anthology we follow the Varasso brothers. The anthology consists of Devil’s Pawn, Fallen Knight, Cruel Prince, Dark King, Merciless Queen, and Checkmate. It is a complete series and handily wraps up everything, which is a favourite of mine as I love to binge read an entire series at once. The Varasso brothers are dark, brooding, violent, and intense having been raised in the mafia by their crime boss father to take over and run the business after his death. The women that claim them as their own are strong willed and disciplined with spines of steel that bring light into the darkness of the brothers lives. As enemies close in from all sides the family leans on each other for support and untangles all the lies and deceptions that have surrounded them for years. The ending comes with a crazy twist that makes everything make sense. I thoroughly enjoyed this and how everyone interacted. The ending was perfect and wrapped everything up yet leaving just enough for more should authors decide to go that route. Amazing job

I did enjoy this series. Each character had their own unique personalities and the storyline really flowed together. My favorite book would have to be the last one of course when they all finally got their happy ending, but let me tell you how mad I was at Alessandro and how bad I felt for Willow! The beginning of the last book was so hard to read because I felt the emotions too my core and was heartbroken. I almost didn’t want to finish it but I knew of course there would be the happy ending. I also rated this book a 4 because the “hot scenes” could have been more steamier. The author was so intense in her emotions about love and how each character felt about each other, but then the sex scenes were flat and lacked the feeling it portrayed. Overall an enjoyable series I would recommend.

This is Molly and Luca’s story. Luca is the eldest son of a mafia boss, and when his father is killed, he must step into those shoes, and he feels something is lacking in his life. Molly has spent her life bringing up her little sister, and when she is upset with her previous employer she goes online to poke fun at him, and when she is snatched from her bed in the middle of the night it is Luca who saves her from getting her head blown off, and he offers her a proposition that she cannot refuse. This is a well written story which is dark, intense, and with drama, danger, twists, and love which all lead to an all-consuming and addictive read. I look forward to reading more from this talented duo whose work I recommend for all.

I received a short prequel ARC edition for an honest review.
This is very different from some of Seth's other work that I have read, however it's all there. Character development is on point. Storyline is amazing. I am quite pleased with this work. Well worth the 5 stars I gave it. Can't wait for the full novel to be released so I can read it.
Luca, I can not wait to see the changes he goes through as this plot plays out. We know how he turns cold now let's see if he can be warmed back up.

What a great book this was by Seth Eden and Raven Scott. Definitely a dark mafia romance with such wonderful and intriguing characters that will keep you enthralled. Lots of drama and a great story line that had me hooked from the first page. Absolutely loved Luca who has had his fair share of tragedy and would love to read more about him and Molly, the woman who warmed his heart again. All 3 stories are unique and really leave you wanting to read more.

Loyalty and love conquers all
What a family... mafia's to the core.
Never read this type of real mafia. Never imagined what they need to do to survive.: to kill or be killed.
Four brothers their women and all the twists and turns life can deal them....
Trying to agree to end their inherited line of work... it takes to the end with the most of the wife who didn't wanted to be involved the one to deal the last deal...
Loved the flow the detailed description and the plots that keeps you reading until the last page...really recomend it hot and very erotic and emotional...

Once they saw their future wife it was like lightning struck them. The ladies seemed weak except formally but Willow and Stance were a force to reckon with, bringing grown men to their knees including their husbands. They were the force of reason in their world of corruption and darkness.

This is a collection of 6 books revolving around the Varasso Brothers. These are dark mafia romances. They all are well developed with drama, action and intensity. They can be read as stand-alones, but are better if read in sequence. I enjoyed this series very much and highly recommended it if you are a fan of this genre. This is a series about the Varasso Brothers, Luca, Marco, Alesandro, and Gabriel. All of these books have relationship issues, and many, many twists and turns. They can be read as standalones, but I would suggest reading them in the order they were written. All of these tough mafia men turn to mush when they find the loves of their lives. I highly recommend these books. I did receive an arc for an honest review.

Ruthless Empire is a dark Mafia Collection of the Varasso brothers. Each book is a standalone but why would you want to read just one when you can get the whole collection right here. These stories are packed with action, drama, suspense, intrigue, humor, steam and so much more. I definitely recommend this collection to everyone who loves mafia romances. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this box set.

Was OK - liked the story with Luca and Alana better.
Didn’t like how Marco got Kelly involved unknowingly
After finding out who Kelly’s brother is, unfortunately no mystery, you know how it’s going to go down. It was just a matter of how it was going to come about.
Then the ending - Marco’s decision, Kelly’s predicament then decision - meh.
Story was lack luster for me.

Worth 10 Stars
Couldn't put this set of books down. Each book was fresh with characters and storylines. How many gorgeous sexy men can you get in one family. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys sexy, Angstie , well written books that give you enjoyment, an understanding of complex family dynamics and at times tears.

Nem li. Mas fiquei zangada que esse livro foi jogado aqui sem consideração, explicação, créditos e com título diferente. Ainda bem que li as revisões e descobri a série toda Varasso Brothers, inclusive o prequel Devil's Pawn

Awesome!
All The brothers in one book was absolutely riveting! Could not set book aside until finished. As soon as their lives started to settle down , another crisis arose to try to destroy the family. Thanks to Willow for saving the family ! Loved the ending!

Ruthless is right!
I really liked this series. Seeing the brothers grow into themselves was really good too read. Especially Gabriel. Seeing the women learn how to be badass was awesome! Especially for their men! It goes to show love will always make people stronger!

Could not put down!
Started the set and finished at 3AM in the morning. I laughed, cried and held my breath throughout these books. I loved all of the H/h' s in these stories. Just WOW. I really enjoyed reading. This collection was great!

Great read
This was a challenging read for me. My first mafia series. It was well written and I had a very hard time putting it down. I was glad that not only were the men strong but the women were as badass!

Wonderful!!!
This set of books took me on a journey for about three weeks. Got to know the characters in this book. Everyone read this. It will not disappoint. This was such a great story! I enjoyed it so much.
