OMG I have been waiting for Say You'll Be Mine since I finished Say You Love Me and E.R. Whyte girl you did NOT disappointment. I didn't want Gunner and Shiloh epic story to end. Can we have one more book? PLEEEEAAASSSEEEEE

Say You'll Be Mine is the final installment in the Reclaiming Heaven Duet and this book picks up right where Say You Love Me left all. So if you've read Say you Love me then you know that book left you with your heart in your throat, this book picks right up where it left off. Okay on to the suspense... this book is a 10/10 on the suspense chart. I was on the edge of my chair the entire time while trying to figure out who's Shiloh's crazy stalker was, and OMG the chapters told by the stalker were so well written I felt I was truly seeing what they (as in is it a he or she) were seeing as I read. As for who the stalker is......I TOTALLY didn't see that coming at all.

So if you are looking for a Romantic Suspense to read for October make sure you grab the Reclaiming Heaven Duet. This Duet has romance, steaminess, character chemistry, suspense and a true love story all wrap in one big ole pretty must read bow.

I'm rating this one a 3.5. You should read my review for Say You Love me first.
I suspect that people who love series novels will rate this much higher, but I can't abide filler. I really enjoyed Remember Me, and I also enjoyed Say You Love Me, but, as I said in my first review, I suspect that this author would have done better to make this ONE long story, versus one good first book, and one filler-filled second book

Still worth reading, because this author can write one heck of a juicy love scene, and her characterization and world building is above average: E.R. Whyte is a talented writer.
I expect many more great novels from her in the future.

It's here, guys. Book 2 of the Reclaiming Heaven duet...the conclusion to Shiloh and Gunner's love story and the thrill ride with Shiloh's stalker. If you haven't read Book 1 yet, Say You Love Me, grab that and settle in for a good day's read.

I was only around fifty-percent certain where this book was going to take me when I began it. The story morphed SO MUCH from it's initial conception, which was simply the story of a teacher caught between what she knew was right and what her heart called her to. I ended up introducing the stalker angle because as a stripper, I felt it was highly possible that Shiloh was putting herself at risk. No judgment, just one of those unfortunate facts I learned in my research. This new angle ended up adding greater depth to both Shiloh and Gunner's characters, adding additional [external] conflict, and...adding words.

Hence my decision to split the novel into two. I was very torn about doing this. I don't personally mind cliffhangers when the next book is arriving quickly or already out, but I know they're iffy with many readers. When I made the decision, it was 100% because the book was growing by leaps and bounds, and was already at close to 250 pages, with an additional 100 or so already plotted out for the second half. I didn't want to release a potential 450-500 page book; thus decided to split the work.

It's been such a learning experience, in so many ways. Plotting, arcs, marketing...it's crazy. I see myself more as a standalone author for future works, but we shall see!

All that to say [told you I was verbose]...I sincerely hope you enjoyed both books, and found the conclusion satisfying. Love and hugs!

I just want to start by saying thank you for not making us wait too long for this conclusion to Gunner and Shiloh’s story. I was right about who I thought the stalker was, but I was surprised by their helper. This story sucked me in from the beginning and I didn’t stop reading until the end. I love when a book keeps me interested throughout and this book did that. I still love these wonderful characters and I was happy that Gunner wasn’t hurt worse in his accident. I recommend this book to anyone looking for a new to them author or if you’re looking for a beautiful romance. No spoilers, so grab your copy and see what happens.

The conclusion to Shiloh and Gunner's story didn't disappoint. After much angst, uncertainty, and fighting of feelings, Shiloh gives into her feelings for Gunner. Only yo have her stalker up the anti in his games. She thinks she has to leave Gunner to protect him and his family. Only no one knows who her stalker is. Until he takes Shiloh. Gunner and her ex-boyfriend chase after them to rescue her. Only they run into not one but two surprises. Then Gunner does the one thing she thought he would never do. She wakes up alone. Has she ruined them forever, or is he just adjusting to what she went through and what could have happened? After all, they find she wasn't the first or second woman woman taken. Though she's the only one to survive. This book kept me engaged right up to the end. See how Gunner and Shiloh get their HEA. After all, age is juts a number when it comes to true love.

4 Star Review!
3.5 Spice Rating

She's done it again, Ladies and Gentlemen!

Main points... OMG THE TWIST! OMG THE SPICE!

Elle dialled the spice rating right up for this book, and I loved it! With that being said though, the book wasn't just about the sex. The passion and the romance was so spellbinding and so lovely to read.

Just like the first book, the writing and the storyline was really well thought out and flowed incredibly. I wish that this book was almost that bit longer because I felt as if the female lead and the villain didn't have a lot of time together (I'm trying not to spoil things here). What I mean is that I feel like the ending and the resolution to that moment was a bit quick.

Following on from the first story, Elle was really good at keeping her characters' 'voices' very distinct between the multiple POV's and consistent as the book progressed.

One of the main issues I had with the first book was the element of the teacher/ student relationship. Elle and I actually had a brief discussion about this over Instagram in my comments section, and after reading this book, I feel so much better about the relationship the two MC's share.

Also, as I brought up in the last book review, there wasn't really that platonic male relationship for Shiloh in this book, which I was a little disappointed about, but there was more content about background character's coming into and having larger roles in this story that didn't involve or allude to sex; e.g. Brodie, a previous partner of her mother's, and an elderly neighbour.

I loved the epilogue. That was super cute. I liked that it wasn't a 'happily ever after' kind of ending. More of a 'happy for now with a big and bright future ahead of us'.

I would wholeheartedly recommend this book and series. I think E.R. Whyte did an awesome job.

Shiloh's stalker isn't giving up on her and threatening not only her, but Gunner as well so Shiloh is torn between cutting off ties with Gunner to protect him and to keep herself safe. I've always admired Shiloh's need to take care of others and put herself last, but also relieved that Gunner doesn't see it that way. I wasn't surprised by who the culprit was, but the author does a good job of making the reader consider other possibilities as equally viable candidates. Once the stalker engages with Shiloh, that part is a bit muddled and I wasn't sure which direction the story was going to go, if it would stay in the safety zone or veer into darker territory. I don't know if the author was certain either because it promised darkness, but didn't go quite that far, although I suppose it follows the pattern of the previous victim. This story had a little bit less momentum than the previous one and felt like it plateaued toward the end.

This was a angsty and twisted sorta romance book that pulls you in till the very end. Gunner was a sweet heart and a total alpha male even though he was slightly younger than Shiloh. This book has you letting your mind wondering what clue will lead you to the stalker. This book like the first gives the stalker's thoughts and insights which is unique and makes the story just a little more intriguing. I definitely recommend this book if you like to have angst and a twist and turn story line till the end. Definitely a good read with a good story line that will keep your interest till the end.

A brilliant conclusion to this duet, book 1 has to be read first otherwise you shall be lost and not fully appreciate this book. This story is dark and contains a lot of emotions, mystery and intrigue. It’s not an overly long read but it is a terrific read.

Conclusion to Gunner & Shiloh's story where all the complications keeping them apart bring them together. And the stalker? I called it at the end of book one and was right!

This review applies to both books in the Reclaiming Heaven Duet

Equal parts psychological thriller and steamy romance, this story takes you to some dark places, but balances them with a beautiful tale of forbidden love. Whyte has done a marvellous job of building the suspense and leaving breadcrumbs to help the reader solve the mystery alongside the main characters. And Gunner is such a heartthrob!
