Flying at the helm of a powerful battle cruiser, former pirate Catarina Vargus leads a collection of colonists, miners, engineers, and navy personnel to establish an outpost far beyond the frontier. The Royal Navy needs a forward operating base in their war against the alien race known as Apex, who has vowed to exterminate all sentient life in the quarter.

Catarina's expedition soon draws the attention of Scandian marauders, driven from their home worlds by plague and war in search of plunder. Enraged by the intrusion into their territory and greedy to seize her fleet and supplies, they mount a fleet of star wolves to destroy her base before it can get a toehold.

Star Wolf Super Box, now in a complete compilation for the first time, contains over 1,400 pages of space battles, alien wars, and interstellar politics.

The following individual volumes are included in this compilation:

1. Queen of the Void
2. Star Wolf
3. Sun King
4. Alliance Stars
5. Alliance Armada
6. Alliance Insurgent

The saga continues

If you enjoyed the Blackbeard box set then this one will be right up your alley. Read on for the continuing adventures of the characters brought to you in the first box set as they fight off one alien invasion only to encounter an more dangerous alien threat to the galaxy. There are space battles aplenty to keep the pages turning one after another, you'll not want put the books down. Come spend some time with these gallant heroes of the future, you'll be glad you did.

Just when you finish one war another one starts, as they say the reward for a job well done is another one

Another double edged saying I love is, may you love in interesting times.
Well going from one alien who wants to wipe you out. Then finding another is just bad luck.
Great characters with realistic situations and lots of action and adventure. Travel across the galaxy getting shot at and dodging space monsters.
I look forward to the next one 😀

I didn’t really care for the Apex threat. They weren’t believable. Apex being vicious monsters that tear people apart, sure. But being builders of anything, let alone massive ships? Nope, not believable. They don’t have arms and hands! They build everything with their beaks? Doubtful.

Still well written. You feel the losses and sacrifices. The “Vikings” are a great addition.

Slogs.

Formula space opera. Galactic warfare with some decent character development and tension. A few subplots and lots and lots and lots and lots of fleet battles between whole armadas. The battles drag on and on. The early chapters are quite decent but after a while it just gets tiring.

Oh dear

Plodded through up to 80% of box set 2 when monty pythons Graham Chapman should have appeared ordering a stop with "silly silly silly - zooming on me".
It got sillier and sillier as the box set progressed but finally was just too much to bear and I went off to read something enjoyable.

Sorry Mr Wallace you lost the plot there.

Good Story

Would have been much better without the excessive battle descriptions.. That kept a good story from being a great story.. Thankfully there are no explicit sex scenes..

A fast paced space combat adventure.

After settling down after the rebellion, two new that's emerge to bring together disparate parties and races to the next big threat.

Star Wolf Review

The series was an interesting story. Slot of action and interesting technology. The story used tactics like an earth navy would use today

Really good sets of books.

This is good, if you like space battles and sci fi wars. Mostly a good mix of people and fighting. Once in a while, the battle descriptions get a bit long, but skimming solves that. Worth a read...

Finished just the first book QUEEN OF THE VOID in this box set. It was fast reading but one of those stories that you know what is going to happen before you turn the page. As a result I did not read the rest of the books in the set. It was a little ho hum for me as I am looking for some get-up-and-go. Still it is free if you want to add it to your library for a I-can't-find-anything-to-read-tonight and it will fill in for you. On to my next read.
