Bambi

Euphoria; a feeling or state of intense excitement and happiness.
How intense is too intense when my heart is big enough to love two?
They both want, crave, need, and drown me in their world.

It changed my life, my love and my soul.
But so did leaving… Now, I’m back after being told to leave.
Years later, no longer our younger selves and I’m caught up in them again.

One arrangement turns into two & it changes everything;
Euphoria is back but it’s different now; it’s too intense, too overwhelming, and it’s going to rip me apart.

King Ellie

King Ellie discovered her love for dark romance through reading and as she read more and more of them, she discovered that this was the genre she wanted to write in. The antiheroes and what others would classify as villains, she sees them as an opportunity to show what a hurt, heartbroken male who is seen as anything but can love harder. The heroines get a chance to be loved deeply and only by the antiheroes. Love isn't always just black and white... it's a spectrum of color.

I also felt the book was disjointed and repetitive. It seemed to go in circles for most of the story. I also got confused by everyone going by more than one name lol Is it Markos? Phoenix? Ry? Orion? Who is who? haha I don't know, the love story between Bowie, Phoenix and Bambi was super intense nevertheless. Author didn't dig too much into what everyone actually did for a living. I know Bowie is a rockstar, but she didn't get into how this arrangement he has with Bambi and Phoenix would affect that. There was not much sex in this book either. It was A LOT of talking and no action. I was a bit annoyed with that. Either way, the book was just ok for me.

P.S. Is that supposed to be Bambi and Phoenix on the cover? I am so confused. That looks like a white woman to me.

2.50 Stars. (BW/ 2 WM). Kindle Unlimited e-book. Rambling. Repetitive. Protagonists with issues. Menage a Trois. The current and back stories are told from the points of view of the 3 protagonists which makes the storyline drag. The male protagonists, Phoenix "Nix" Morales and Bowie 'Bo" Hanlon meet and started to sexually engage with the heroine, Bambi "Little Dear" Laureence Vesquez when they were 18 and she was 16. Nix has a Anti Social Personality Disorder and processes information and responses to events differently than others...more aggressively: while Bowie is more quite and introspective and relieves his tensions by fighting in mixed martial arts bouts, Bambi has abandonment issues and was sexually abused by her stepfather. As adults, Bowie is a musician, Bambi is an artist and curator at an art gallery and Phoenix is in business with his adoptive brother Orrin. Phoenix and Bowie, supposed best friends that do not interact for the 14 years that Bambi is out of state living with her foster parents and receiving her college degree. The relationship between the main characters is not developed in a way that makes their interactions with each nothing more than a series of loveless sexual interludes.

Exciting and Euphoric

Bowie, the Rockstar, Phoenix aka Markos, and Bambi are in a polyamorous relationship. They both love Bambi so much. They saved her from her rapist step-father, had her sent to a great foster family to better her life, but she made the mistake of not saying bye. Over a decade later, she's back and they still love her like crazy but will exact their form of revenge. One evening, an encounter threatens their lives. Bambi shows her fierceness and comes to the rescue. Phoenix and Bowie both know they could never live without her. Our friends Jagger, Oran, and Caerwyn, along with their wives make an appearance as well. Let's not forget the good doctor and Esme. Great Book!

Dark Love

The love is rough, but it makes for a great story. These three are actually great together and the book had me cracking up laughing at times. There is great character interaction, love, sexiness and all out drama. Loved it!! You also catch up with characters from other books. I recommend you adding this one to your library.

This book was beyond annoying, all it consisted of was two arseholes threatening a young girl then woman to get what they want, what are the readers who gave this literary shit 5 stars thinking. Plus BAMBI - what the fuck kind of name is that to saddle a poor kid with - is the worst kind of weak ass heroine that seems prevalent in this current trend of bwwm books, it is truly disheartening to read about weak black women.

Disappointing

The book could have been great but it felt disjointed. It was also repetitive with no forward movement. I know this is a series but a little recap of who Bowie and Phoenix were would have been useful. The background information about Bambi was too thin. Ok her mother was Cuban and died when she was young but what did she die of? What about her father? I suppose he was Moroccan? How did her stepfather got in the picture? Is she from the Island? It is also strange that Bambi never asked Phoenix what he did these days. The book would have benefited from more details of their life together. Would Bowie have to give up his career? What was the media view on the whole thing? How well did they do cohabitating? What does their house look like? Even the sex scenes were lackluster. There was a lot of talk and promises but little action. The drama, underlying criminal aspect of the other books was also missing. Yes Phoenix got stabbed but we never found out why and by whom. There was no retaliation. There were also a few loose ends. What was Stanis niece doing there? What’s going on with Esposito? The trio was supposed to be a diversion but they never went out in public. Anyway too bad, could have been a solid story.

Three's a charm

Bambi, Nix, and Bowie are the perfect combination of crazy, sexy, and more. They all had their demons. Some were darker than others, but together they were in sync. Perfect. Together they made sense to them. Bambi was the center that held them together even if she wasn't aware of it, nor was she confident about it.

I never figured out what was wrong with Nix. He had no emotions, brutally honest, and he could read people so very well. I loved him.

I was disappointed in Bowie, but I liked how he was the male emotional part of the triangle. Bowie seemed to be misunderstood and not loved by his people. Bambi and Nix allowed him to be normal, whatever that was to him.

Now.... If you don't like reading lots of steamy sex scenes with some aggression attached to them, murder, curse words, or other dark topics, then this is not the book for you. If you are ok with reading about those things, and wondering if the author is truly sane, then READ IT! King Ellie does not disappoint.

If nothing else, read it and then let me know if we agree on anything or if I'm far far far off.

Happy Reading!

Oh my damn. Oh my damn. Let me introduce you to a menage trois. It's dark, gritty, page turning, sexy story of Markos aka Nix or Phoenix and Bambi aka Little Lamb and Bowie. This is quite a journey. King Ellie knocked this one out of the park. Bowie and Phoenix have a strong emotional connection. They share everything. What surprised me is that this was a dark romance but with humor and a gripping emotional pull. I was sucked in from page 1 until the end. Couldn't put it down. It's told in different points of view, no cheating, no cliffhangers, and a hea. I highly recommend taking this journey of a menage trois with Phoenix, Bambi, and Bowie. You won't regret it. It's hot enough to snatch your edges from your head.

Great polyamrous read

Let me start by saying I don't normally love polyamorus books but this was one I truly enjoyed. Phoenix, Bowie, and Bambi have some kind of relationship since high school. Something happened, I won't spoil it by saying what, and Bambi left. Years later she is back and you can bet Phoenix and Bowie are on her as soon as they can be. Phoenix and Bowie are both very intense but Bambi has them eating out of the palm of her hand even when it doesn't seem like it. There love for each other is sweet and deep even though it wouldn't be considered "normal." Of course there are plenty of steamy scenes but they just add to the story and help show how connected they all are. Pick this up, you'll love it.

EUPHORIA!!! 2 Husbands, 1 Wife

Euphoria is the correct title for this book...i was excited at each line. Bowie, Phoenix and that lucky lady named Bambi... King Ellie writes as if she is making me experience these men for myself. Every word comes alive to your senses...the before wedding scene with Bowie and the wedding altar scene with Phoenix had me shaking my head and more...get this book and ride along with story of Bambi and her 2 husbands...yea man! King Ellie, keep'em coming...

Thumbs up to King Ellie

King Ellie is an amazing author and she did not disappoint with this book.
I enjoyed it from the beginning to the end.
Bambi, Nix and Bow finally got their HEA after years of separation. Their love was intense and Euphoric!
As usual, I like when old characters from the Arrangement series make and appearance. (I’m sure i read about a scene from Blinded by the Sun here lol). I really am hoping that Karessa’s sister Imala gets her story.
Nevertheless, if you haven’t read the Arrangements series as yet, you’re missing out.
Highly Recommended!!

Not my cup of tea

I tried but I just could not get into this story. Bambi is a woman who is just fixated on Nix and Bow. She's winey and wimpy. The only time she shows strength was in the hospital. I don't know what to say about the Phoenix and Bowie. The three of them in a marriage just goes over my head. I just could not get into the story line. I'm, sorry but King Ellie did not represent in this story. If you like a manage a trois of MFM situation with characters that are strange, then this story is for you. I just can't hang.

Unbreakable Bond

Love, love, love these three and the family they formed.
Phoenix, Bowie, and Bambi are searching for love that they were deprived of by people who are suppose to be their parents but they find it with each other.
After years apart and having grown up Bambi realizes that the bond/love she has for Bowie and Phoenix won’t ever die and that they will always be the other half of her heart.

I’ve been waiting to read this one and King Ellie didn’t disappoint. I really enjoyed learning more about Phoenix, Bowie and Bam and the only drawback was that I wished the story didn’t end. I highly recommend!

Not happy

This one was not worth it. I felt no love. I think Nix is a killer, and I think he will kill her. This didn’t do it for me at all. There was no underlying plot. I hope the next is better.

Not to repeat what some have said (I will try not to…lol) but this book was my least favorite so far in the series . I had to stop reading it a few times and read another book to finish this one. I was so irritated because many details was missing so the flow and connections didn’t seem genuine.

Captivating

This book is not for the faint at heart. At time Nix made me uncomfortable and felt his love was toxic but as his character unfolds, lets just say there someone for everyone. King Ellie had my heart racing and I refuse to put this book down.

My Goodness!!

No words!!
I don’t know what to say... I am speechless and I must find words for my review. 😂
King Ellie, your characters are insanely awesome...
Bambi, how the he** are you able to handle these two insane, crazily HOT MESS of men!? One would be too much for me, or not!? 😂 To quote Ainsley: “ lucky girl!” Bam-Bam, Nix and Bow you are made for each other, your ménage à trois is WOW!
Peeps, I am just going to say this: after finishing this book, if you are catholic, go see your priest, if you are “whatever” ask for absolution or buy an extra dildo and some good quality batteries . 🥵 🔥 🔥 🔥
