After a long search and much coaxing by her half-brother Nabil who has now taken the throne, Farah has arrived in Zashar. She knows nothing about life in the desert kingdom and must tread carefully, especially where personal relationships are concerned.

This gave me the feels! First off the FMC was fierce and forward. She was sexy, confident, and knew what she wanted. Traditions be damned. It was sexy, and the two lead's chemistry burned hot! This had one of my favorite first kisses ever! I look forward to the next installment.

Oh wow! Best one yet! I loved this slow burn, east meets west, freedom versus tradition love story.
Farah is the illegitimate daughter of the former king. She's arrived in the desert kingdom. Her brother wants her to become part of the family but her father wants to use her as a political pawn. She won't play by the kingdom's rules. She's got her eye on Mahir, her brother's right hand man and the hottest, sexiest man she's ever laid eyes on. The problem is, he's so dedicated to his work and maintains he must remain neutral and stoic.
Farah won't have any of it. She knows that still waters run deep and can't wait to unravel Mahir. But that may be harder than she ever expected. Love love loved this novel!!

I think this is my favourite of the Desert Desires trilogy! I love a story of a commoner who can win the heart of a royal. Although Farah isn’t a typical royal, she has the bloodline but was raised in London by a single mother, the woman the former king refused to acknowledge. She’s the illegitimate daughter brought to the desert kingdom, but she won’t play by its rules.
I loved the way Farah challenges Mahir at every turn until he strains against the strict control he’s been brought up with.
Another very enjoyable tale by Jennifer Jannsen!

The first time Mahir saw Farah he was struck by her beauty. Farah Wilson is the blonde haired, blue-eyed illegitimate daughter of old King Atef of Zashar. Mahir is the boyhood friend and now advisor to King Nabil, son of Atef. Mahir was tasked with schooling Farah on Zashar’s history, culture, and language which causes him to be alone with her. She flirts with him but he takes his job seriously and tells her he is a commoner whereas she is a princess. Nothing can eve be between them. She wants to break through his icy exterior to the hot, passionate man beneath. On a trip to the Bedouins, he is given advice by one of the elders and heeds it and heads to Farah’s tent.
It was amusing to watch Farah try and break through his professional demeanor until he had had enough and took her up on having sex. It was a hot time in the tent that night! As their love grew, so did old King Atef's decision to marry Farah off to a neighboring prince. She told him she came to Zashar to meet her family not to be bargained off as a commodity. Marriages were arranged for political reasons in the region but Farah was not having it. She loves Mahir.
Farah and Mahir went to see Nabil and he told them he had eyes and knew they had fallen in love. King Atef was adament and won't allow Mahir to leave so Farah leaves. Nabil came and got her off the plane and Mahir was waiting. They married. Later at a reception, King Atef holds his arms out to her as a form of apology.
Loved the repartee between Farah and Mahir!

This is a beautiful story of Farah and Mahir. Farah is the illegitimate daughter of the king. She has been raised as a Westerner and is used to living that way. Mahir is the best friend of the current progressive king and he has been tasked with looking after Farah. What Mahir should never do is fall in love with someone from the royal family. They are above his station. Besides, the old king has an arranged marriage for Farah coming up which means that Mahir is going to have to start breaking rules and so is Farah.
This is a great read. You won't be disappointed.

This is the 2nd book I've read written by Jennifer Jansen; I can’t wait to read more of her books.
This is the 3rd book in the Desert Desires Series; it is a stand-alone book. She has written a good book about Farrah & Mahir; she is the illegitimate daughter of the king; he is the king’s right-hand man; he is given the task to look after her.

This book, the third in the Desert Desires series, is the forbidden romance between Princess Farah, the illegitimate daughter of the old king who was raised to be independent in the Western world, and Mahir, the childhood friend and trusted royal advisor to King Nabor. Farah and Mahir have a strong chemistry together even though he is commanded by King Nabor to watch over his sister until her arranged marriage concocted by the old king occurs. Will Mahir abide by tradition or will he take his fate in his own hands and marry the princess who he loves?.

Oh wow! I want to give this one more than 5 stars. I loved Farah the heroine who was raised in England and then brought to the desert kingdom by her brother who'd been looking for her and is now king.
His right hand man, Mahir, is the MMC of this story. He's so trapped in his own devotion to his king and country that he can't let himself love Farah. But she doesn't give up. However, her father the former king has political plans for her but didn't count on her fiercely independent nature.
When the two MMCs finally do get together it's electric and sparks fly. I loved this story. Absolutely fantastic!

This book, the third in the Desert Desires series, is the forbidden romance between Princess Farah, the illegitimate daughter of the old king who was raised to be independent in the Western world, and Mahir, the childhood friend and trusted royal advisor to King Nabor. Like the previous two books in the series this one was also very well written with captivating plot and well developed characters. Both Farah and Mahir have a strong chemistry . Will these two have a chance at happily ever after or would they not act on their feelings and give it to traditions. Definitely a must read
