A lonely, adult mama’s boy, an overly ambitious realtor, a veteran suffering flashbacks, a washed-out former basketball star and a gambling addict are the subjects of these five well-written and imaginative stories that comprise this book. Once you start reading each story, you want to learn more about each character and then you get to the end and the ending makes you think differently about the entire story you just read! Totally twisted! I actually thought the endings were rather brilliant and a couple of them really creeped me out and will stick in my head for a while (I love it!). These stories are not about vampires, ghosts or zombies, just people; ones with addictions or psychological problems that get out of hand. This is a book of good stories, with good character development and good writing. This book gets a four-star rating, which is really good for me. If there were a few more stories it may have gotten five stars. I will definitely read more stories by this author. I would like to thank BookSirens and the author, Tamel Wino, for allowing me to read this book free for an honest review.
