HOLY MAFIA LOVE HELL! Dynasty is an amazing collection of mafia stories by authors I love, and a couple that are new to me, but the end result is BRILLIANTLY ADDICTIVE.
Brick by Jen Davis:
OMG WOW WOW WOW! I can honestly say that I NEVER saw Brick coming, not to say that the blurb didn't intrigue me, but again WOW! Jen Davis has blown me away with the amazing story that knocked my on my behind from beginning to end, and everything in between. I'm not going to give anything more as far as description because that will be a disservice, just go in blind, trust me, it's worth it. First of all, the suspense, yeah, it was of the edge of my seat, heart racing, f-bombs dropping, twists around every corner variety that had my colorful metaphor game on point. Sounds exciting right?! Yeah you have no clue, but you will if you get this book now! Are you reading it yet?! Okay moving on....the story line is dark making my dark & twisty self dance it out, gritty, so addictive that I couldn't move from my spot, and yes, so sexy that I thought my kindle may catch fire. Brick is an original hero that I couldn't help but love, as he wasn't the typical pretty playboy. Liv was an amazing heroine, who isn't scared of the big, yet unsure giant. So run, don't walk to your devices to one click this baby that I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This story was dark & intense, and everyone should heed the warning given at the beginning of the book, as it's not for the faint of heart. See Castello Fattore's brother has been murdered, which caused his father to die too soon as well, so he's out for blood. And his target is Tatum Linscott, the woman who his brother was seeing. He's kidnapped her for revenge, and holy hell, he was a monster. Tatum has no idea what the hell is going on, but Castello doesn't believe her one bit. And that's all that I'm going to say about that. I will say that I freakin' hated Castello from 90% of the book for real. Like I wanted to literally set him on fire, hated him. The things that he pulled were off the charts horrible, and frankly, I'm still not sure if I'm going to forgive him or not...time will tell after I read the conclusion. However, I can say that he has much worse family members who make up the cast of secondaries, and they make him look like an angel. Scary huh?! Bella J. really penned a "Twisted" story that has me 50 shades of insane, and obviously it left me hangin' with a big cliffy, so I have to be honest, I'm dying a little inside because I NEED to know how it's all going to pan out! In the meantime, my dark & twisty self HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDS Blood & Lies to ALL!
Russian Tattoos: Obsession by Kat Shehata
This author is new to me, and I'm in love! Carter was a heroine who I didn't cheer for at first, but Ms. Shehata made sure she actually straightened up. Then there's the twists & turns that led me to places I never saw coming, so once the shock wore off, I was able to drop loud f-bombs, and that's totally what I LOVE in my mafia books!

I'm already a big fan of Ginger Ring, and the Genoa Mafia series, so I was ready for this book! And OH MY HELL, the Prologue started this book off with a bang! Now, Jackie was a reporter who dying a bit inside with her job at a local small paper since not much happened where she lived, so when she was offered a job, she jumped at the change, especially when she looked up the family running the place, and learned that it was run by the wife of a crime family. She certainly didn't count on a hot made man named Jasper to start pursuing her. The moment Jasper set eyes on Jackie, he decided that he wanted to make her his, and no matter how many times she turned him down, he wasn't giving up. They have some serious chemistry, yet, she's not willing to date a man part of a crime family, but Jasper doesn't have it in him to give up. So who will win this battle of wills at the end of the day?! Yeah, Jasper was definitely entertaining in his pursuit of Jackie, while she stood strong against the mouthwatering man, who knew how to woo a woman. And it was slow going, so it refreshing, because Jackie didn't just land in his bed, nope, it took a bit before he got into her pants, and when he did, they lit the sky up. Now, there are a ton of twists in this story, and they really hit about half way through, leading up to the finale, so my f-bombs really got a work out because they were dropping fast & furiously by this time. Oh, and I certainly loved the cast of secondaries, though at times, they came off scary. Anyway, this was another great read in this series, so you know what to do if you want to know how it all pans out! Get to one clicking! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
The Boss's Daughter by Jennifer Bates
The Boss's Daughter was the first book that I've read by Jennifer Bates, and I absolutely LOVED every minute of it! I won't go into too many details as it's a story filled with suspense, and it's much better for everyone to go in blind, but basically, Renee Parnell is a powerful mob boss's daughter. But her father is a sadistic douche who hates her, so it's made her strong at a young age, and she's learned how to play the game well. That's all that I'm giving away, so you will just have to experience it for yourselves, as I wouldn't do it justice anyway. Renee is a powerhouse in her own right, as she's had to learn just to stay one step ahead of her father & his minions in order for self preservation, and to keep those she loves safe. Jennifer Bates showed me a brilliant writing style with a mafia story that kept me on the edge of my seat cover to cover with my heart racing the whole time. The twists & turns were around every corner had my f-bomb dropping strong, and honestly that's all that I could say most of the story to be honest. This is the start of a series that has me already addicted, so I can't wait to read more, and HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!
The Italian Kitten Meets the Russian Wolf by Grace Reagal
Grace Reagal is a new to me author, and frankly, I'm totally blown away by how gripping her writing was to me with this story, especially since it took place in a High School setting. All I'm giving for a description is that the heroine is Caterina Giovanni, daughter of the Italian Mafia, who is finally getting a chance to go to school as a normal student on the down low. And Valentin Nilolaev, son of the Russian Mob, and he rules that school, not to mention, knows who Caterina really is. There is so much going on in this story that my emotions were left exhausted when I finished, and I'm still not really sure on all the details. I can say this, the twists are off the charts insane, and while it's a HS setting, my f-bomb dropping was not, because I have not one clue as to what is swirling around this girl, and neither does she really, as she's been very protected and/or sheltered. And Valentin, I'm not convinced that he's not the Devil Jr. to be honest, with the stuff he pulled. So yeah, gonna need the next book to see what's really going on, because I'm completely hooked! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
The Mafia and His Obsession Part 1 by Lylah James
Lylah James has a serious gift when it comes to keeping me on the edge of my seat throughout any of her mafia stories, waiting for that other shoe to drop, and The Mafia and His Obsession: Part 1 is absolutely no exception. Her brilliance drew me in from the very get go, and I sat in one position until every last word was read and/or experienced. The Him would be Viktor, and the Her would be Valerie. They are not supposed to be near each other, but the connection is so strong, that they are taking great risks to actually spend time together, and I mean like death if caught kind of risks. But their chemistry won't be denied, so I sat with my heart racing, while they lit the sheets on fire during the sexy times that finally exploded. And this cast of secondaries are all different sorts, as they are the good, bad, and the ugly, so it added all kinds of sinister drama to the mix. Plus, the twists came from every direction kept my f-bombs raining down like crazy. Finally, that ending left me on the side of the cliff, as Ms. James is a pro at doing this to me, and she's already on the list of authors trying to KILL ME DEAD from the previous stories, but I can bump her hash tag up to #EVILWHOREQUEEN now, as she keeps trying to kill me & the next part cannot be released soon enough for my peace of mind. Anyway, I'm going to stop now before I give spoiler douchery away, and just end with HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDING TO ALL!

Wow! Castello and Tatum journey was insane, disturbing, crazy and emotional. Their story isn’t for faint heart you must be prepare for this dark and twisted story. The suspense had me on the edge!

Gritty, raw and dark!! Carter annoyed me at the beginning I must confess her bad choices made me want to punch her. Any way I enjoyed the story though there were some situations that really surprised me and not in the good way but in the end it was a good story.

This is a superb collection of mafia stories. I love collections as I usually get introduced to new authors and I’m glad to say there’s a few I’ve not read before. After reading this I’ll certainly be wanting to read more from each and every one.
Can I pick a favourite? Nope. They were all really good.
This is a big collection so I spread it out and read each book between other different stories. Fantastic collection that I highly recommend.

I am a sucker for mafia romances, and love it even when they're DARK! I think I have a problem! But, since writers keep writing these, it seems I'm in good company!
Dark, suspenseful, steamy! I own several of the stories in this anthology and met some new authors who have expanded my ever growing TBR list!!!

Who loves Mafia books this girl right her. Who knows how to write amazing mafia stories the authors in this book. I love my mafia men their over the top amazing wonderful and delicious and their women know how to handle their own as well. If you love mafia books then this book is for you.
