A fresh reading into the ways and craft of windowsill gardening.

I recommend this book for anyone wanting to grow their windowsill plants, as well as people who want to upgrade their gardens with extra pots and beautiful hanging plants and here is why :

As an adept of gardens and plants, I saw this book as an opportunity to learn more and see how I can improve on my gardening but it exceeded my expectations spectacularly.

The book walks us through a variety of plants you can grow from the comfort of the smallest apartment. A useful guide with a comprehensive layout that helps you go back to every chapter you need and learn about the plant you want to grow.

Useful instructions paired with a small grid to signal difficulty, light and water intake the plant needs, which are often parameters we neglect as hobbyists.
Another major point to highlight is how the book promotes ecology by explaining how to recycle old beans, vegetables peelings, and other plants, but also how to use old utensils and craft special pots from jars and containers.

The book even dives deep into topics like pineapple, mangos, even outdoor gardening like hanging strawberries, potatoes and vertical gardens for your balconies.

I thought I would need to bookmark every single page and plant I want to learn more about, but the index at the end makes it so easy to go back to the page you need.

To finish a Quote that sums up the book : "you will have the satisfaction of growing an attractive houseplant for free from something that you would have thrown away"

A great comprehensive guide to how to grow and recycle the unwanted veggie ends. This book was not rocket science, but it made it easier to understand where I did it wrong with coriander or tomatoes.

I don't know if it's the new trend of the moment, but more and more DIY books are written for adults, but they have drawings and illustrations like children's books and these are the manuals I prefer. Rather than filling the pages with words and words of explanation, the drawings, always extremely accurate and make the practice more simple and immediate than a thousand words.

I received from the Publisher a complimentary digital advanced review copy of the book in exchange for a honest review.
