Everything is in turmoil as Herne and Ember struggle to keep up with the collateral damage caused by the war against Typhon. But now, an old enemy reappears--stronger and more dangerous than before.
Once again, the Hippocampi call for the Wild Hunt's help. Not only has Straff, the son of Blackthorn, returned to his old haunts, but several teens have gone missing from the Foam Born Encampment. Herne and Ember tread a delicate balance, searching both for the kidnapper, and the psychotic Ante-Fae. But when Ember makes a misstep, she falls into the hands of the King of Thorns. Will she be able to escape before he takes out his revenge on her?

Ooph! This one packs an emotional punch. It’s also a turning-point in the world. Major changes are afoot. Some things that happen: Ember discovers something new about her heritage and magical abilities. We learn something about the dragons that is directly affecting the social structure of this world. And, as always, we get to hear about all jinds of scrumptious baked goods. It’s always a pleasure to visit Ember’s world, even when things are getting tough.
Things are starting to heat up in the dragon war. These books are so easy to read and the series is getting very interesting. I look forward to seeing where the fight goes in the next book
There was a lot going on in this one, some things the gang was able to clear up in this book, some things for the longer story arc.
Their trip to Whibbley Island was heart breaking in so many ways. First that they were going after someone they already tangled with. Too bad they weren't allowed to really deal with them the first time. Then helping out the Foam Born, which while it ended good, really broke my heart with what they went through. It seemed like just as the team was mentally recovering from that another battle came, on two fronts and the group separated. It was here that the team took a hard hit, one that didn't need to happen, yet who could say no, who could have imagined what would happen. Still reeling from this the final battle came and while the bad guy was taken care of, not everything went smoothly and Ember found herself once again in danger. I loved how she found help and where she ended up, if only because it gave everyone a place to recover from this book and the hard hits they took. It also helped bring out some fears some of them were feeling and to deal with them in the best way.
Hunter's Moon, by Yasmine Galenorn, the latest in the Wild Hunt Series, is a Holy Hells, Strap yourself in and get ready for the non-stop ride book ! Ember Kearney, Herne's fiancee' and elven powerhouse, along with the rest of the Wild Hunt crew ~ take off to the Foam Born Encampment to check into some missing young girls. Add in a war with the Dragons getting hotter, and Straffe, son of the Ante-Fae Thorn King AWOL from prison, things shall we say, heat up real fast and never slow down. I truly was on the edge of my seat reading this, and stayed up till 4 AM ~ it's that incredible ! I laughed, I cried, and I was terrified. Just my opinion, but one of the finer books in this series , Ms. Galenorn. My stomach was flip flopping like mad. Love, love, loved this book ! Did I say I loved it?
This is book 15 in the Wild Hunt series. This series has kept me on the edge of my seat right from the very first book. This one is no different and had me hooked in right from the beginning. This story goes back to Foam Born encampment, and a case to find 3 missing girls. From there it goes back to a case which had been considered closed until the villain in the case escapes from the dungeons. This is yet another book in this series that I could not put down and finished in one sitting. I cannot wait for the next one in the series and am so glad that this is a completed story line, and I can get started on the next one now!
So much happens in this book. Kidnapping, deaths, and growth. Ember faces so much change and challenges that it is amazing she doesn't get fatigue from it all more! We grow with Ember and cry with her as she experience the pain the dark side of humanity once more and the resilience we all must have inside us to not allow those people to drag us down. This book was a wonderful addition to her series and I honestly can't wait for Ember to go through the change and find her place.
It’s a busy time at The Wild Hunt from Ember's POV. Typhon is coming soon, there’s a thief raiding a dwarf’s house, the dead are walking, Straff may be back, there are two missing hippocampi, clients have been overcharged and must be paid back, and all the vampires will hide out behind shields so the dragons cannot control them. First, the hippocampi are investigated and a fiendish plot is uncovered. A tragedy strikes the team. The problem of Straff and Blackthorn is resolved, though not without a very tense time.
I cannot express how much I love this series. It just keeps getting better and better. I love the world, I love the characters, I love the stories. There is a special magic in this series, to anyone who reads this review, do yourself a favor, start on book one, read them all, you will be enriched by the experience. I hope there are many more books to come.
This one really had me in the edge of my seat, biting my nails. It his pretty hard on touchy topics but with far better outcomes. An amazing look into the world of the wild hunt and how it sees the metaphysical world. Ember is by far one of my absolute favorite characters. I can’t wait for the next step in her life, with the whole modge podge crew. Just waiting to see what’s in store for Angel and Yutani! There is so much to know!!!!
Hunter's Moon! Wow! Where to start. Herne, Ember and The Wild Hunt are asked by the Hippocampi encampment to come and look into some missing girls. With The Wild Hunt already strapped by trying to locate Typhon and fighting off the dead things go horribly wrong.
This installment had my head spinning. A lot happens in a short amount of time. This is an excellent series and this book had me hooked fast. Excellent job and character growth.
I love coming back to the Wild Hunt. Another exciting instalment in the series. We get to go back and revisit old friends and a deadly enemy as the world moves closer to the major battle to come. I love the way the characters continue to develop and grow. It might sound daft but these characters have become my friends and I have grown to love them.
This book was fantastic. I could not put it down once I started and finished it in one sitting. It moves along at a amazing pace which was the perfect speed for the story. The characters are amazing and you cant help but love them all. The story, wow. It had everything from adventure to love to loss and everything in between. This is a must read book and I cant wait to see what happens next.
The author deals with life, death & loss in this next chapter of the Wild Hunt. The team tackles a new case and has to clean up the lose ends from an old one. Along the way beliefs are tested, emotions run high, fears are faced and abilities are honed. A new reality is coming into focus and the realization is hitting everyone hard.
This book is an excellent addition to the Wild Hunt series. There's so much going on for Ember and her friends, I felt everything right along with them. Ms Galenorn is a master of her craft.
I absolutely love this series. One of my favorites, and I already can't wait to see what hairball next. Embers wedding, Victor's wedding, the fight coming, who is meant to stand with Angel as well as the rest of the crew. Talia and Yutani need love too, so much more I need to know.

Another amazing read from Ms. Galenorn. I love this series. Ember and Hern are so awesome together. I always finish reading her books ready for more. Feel good, snuggle in worthy. Can't wait for the next book!!!!
Great plot twists! Although be warned, it will get your emotions high and you will shed some tears. The story line seemed better than in the past books and the main character, Ember, goes through a pretty impressive evolving phase. Can't wait to read the next one!
Once again Jasmine Galenorn gives us a great read. Old friend brings a new case, and an old for as well. Someone they thought out of their problem box returns, while trying to solve a new case.
In this installment, Yasmine leads us on an action filled adventure. I kept wanting to see where the road would lead. The characters continue to grow, as they learn to adapt to changes in the world at large and in the smaller world around them.
Another case, another mix of joy and tragedy, witchcraft and hearth craft.
Wonder if goddess Ember will be a warrior for justice and equality, if she has a chance to change the Fae, and why the other Fae gods will not or can not.
This book was amazing as is all of the series. Depth of emotion, true depth of characters and heartfelt emotions. I felt present as I experienced the adventure, human interactions, trials and triumphs. Highly recommend.
Another adventure is undertaken by the Wild Hunt Agency. There is a crime to be solved. Bad guys to deal with and dragons causing trouble. Great series to get into.
Ember kicks ass!! This is a great installment in the series. Ember takes care of herself and takes out a serious bully. I can't wait for the next installment with Raven.
