Great Start to a New Series by Golden Angel.
Master Mitch and Domi have a friendship but she never thought it would turn into more until one night when he proposes to turn their friendship into a friends with benefits relationship or as Domi calls it "Bondage Buddies" and since she can't find any downside to the arrangement she agrees to it.
Domi is a single mother so the arrangement with Master Mitch works perfectly for her...that is until feelings start to take root. With the chemistry that Mitch and Domi have is it any surprise that their carefully constructed Bondage Buddies agreement would start to blur the lines into something more, nope not even to their friends that were watching from the sidelines.

After meeting Mitch and Domi in sub-class,i wondered what happened to them.
Thanks to the ARC of Bondage Buddies Golden Angel so generously shared with me i know,and it makes me só happy!
Mitch and Domi worked well together in sub-class,him being a sadist and Domi the masochist that loved what he did to her.
So,when sub-class ended,he decided to propose a deal to her.
Since both were reluctant to start a relationship,each with their own reasons,why not become friends with kinky benefits?
And for a while it works,until Domi starts having feelings for Mitch......
The reason she agreed to the arrangement was her daughter,Ana.
She’ll do anything for that sweet girl,as any good mother would,and seeing her hurt because a relationship doesn’t work out is a no-go.
So,she’s “happy” to break it off with Mitch before things go to far,even though it hurts.....
Mitch was happy with the arrangement,because it meant having fun without getting to involved.
The on-off relationship his parents have,has put him off from that kind of commitment for life....right?
Until Domi tells him she’s breaking it off because she’s developing feelings for him.

November 12, 20255 spice level, this book has kinky smut starting on page 4 and it’s great LOL.
Essentially, this is about Domi and Mitch who have met at a kink club. Mitch asks if domi would be his consistent scene partner at the club, but to keep things casual. domi is a single mom and also isn’t really looking for commitment so she agrees. After months of this they eventually catch feelings though, of course. This is a super easy read and has interesting kinky smut like every other chapter, so obviously i had a great time :’)

I've been waiting for Mitch and Domi's story and Ms. Angel did not disappointment me. They neither want a serious commitment but are happy to be bondage buddies and play exclusively at the club. No messy feelings to get in the way, but those same feelings have a way to turn worlds upside down at a moments notice. The connection between Mitch and Domi is hot, sexy and intense so when he starts to realize that he wants more, it's unnerving since he's never felt this way. Watching them work through these issues kept me page turning and when Mitch messes up without realizing what he's done, he doesn't know how to fix it! Is Domi willing to let him just walk away or will Mitch get up the courage to tell her how he really feels and make her understand he wants way more than what they agreed to? The connection between all the characters mentioned was great. Supportive of each other and they try to help each other out!!! Loved, loved, loved, this book and can't wait for the next one!

Golden Angel has been one of my one-click authors for several years now and after reading her "Stronghold Doms" series I've been on pins and needles waiting for her to bring the first book to her "Masters of Marquis" series. OMG, it is so worth the wait. In 'Bondage Buddies' we get to see Domi, a submissive, and Mitch, a Dominant, come together as "friends with benefits including kink". I had to giggle when Mitch suggested this to Domi and gave her his signature wink. Their personalities are so relatable, their sense of humor works well off each other, and their chemistry is hotter than blue blazes. I was wonderful watching them learn to actually talk to each other honestly and go through not only their own self-discovery but their changing perspectives of each other. If this is any indication of how the rest of the series is going to work, I can't wait for Master Chef, but then Golden Angel has such a way with words, I can't help but feel like I'm part of the action.

Lacked some show vs tell. Background of characters come out at wrong times. Like the hero says his work schedule is unpredictable, but the author doesn’t explain why. Then we see him at the ER talking to an intern so I thought he was a doctor. No. He is a nurse which there is nothing wrong about, but it seemed to be hidden and only revealed when the heroine needs the ER. Then the heroine’s daughter is injured and the father admits he doesn’t blame the heroine for what happened. But it felt glossed over and not used well to show their relationship. And the stepmother not blaming her is really just mentioned in passing. So why even bring it up? It wasn’t a bad story, just felt off not letting me realize things by action instead of always by dialog.

What an emotional, up and down romance and extremely sexy story. The chemistry between Domi and Mitch is very strong. Domi maybe a submissive but she is very head strong when it comes to her family and especially her daughter Ana. They were doing great as bondage buddies, but Domi’s heart got in the way and they stopped because she did not want to feel anything for Mitch except friends. The mind has a mind of its own. Enjoy this wonderful beautiful story

Yay the Master of Marquis is finally here! And it is as great a read as I was hoping for! Loved revisiting these characters! Domi and Mitch were a great pair to read and I loved how their feels just kinda sprung up on them both. They didn't even realize it at first! It was interesting to see how Domi and her daughters dad did things. It goes to show how different families can be, yet still it works for them. I also really loved seeing characters we've seen before and even meeting some newer ones to come! I really can't wait for the next book! I have a feeling it is going to be amazing as well! If you liked the Stronghold series you will like this one!

This is the first book in the Masters of Marquis series. Although you don't need to read the Stronghold series before this, I highly suggest you do.
* How did the book make you feel?: I really enjoyed this book, but I LOVE all Golden Angel books. It was fun a light and had a few twists that I wasn't expecting.
* How do you feel about how the story was told?: I liked how the author changed the POV of the story. I was able to understand the feelings of the main characters better.
* What did you think about the main characters?: I remember meeting both Domi and Mitch in the Stronghold series but I can't remember which book. Domi is a strong character and knows what she wants. She loves the idea of having a 'bondage buddie' and doesn't want anything more. I enjoyed reading how Mitch was so unsure of relationships and how he slowly became aware of his feelings for Domi. The development of the characters was so good.
* Which parts of the book stood out to you?: The BDSM scenes stood out the most. Golden Angel knows how to write a sexy, hot scene without it feeling like the whole book is X-rated. She writes in the feelings of the characters and you can almost feel like you are a part of the story.
* What did you think about the ending?: I enjoyed the ending. I felt the author had a good closing to the story. They didn't end up married, or at least not yet, but there were no loose ends. The book wasn't rushed. It was a complete story. I loved the Epilogue into the next book. What a cliff hanger. I don't want to wait for the next book, I want it NOW!!
* What is your impression of the author?: I just love Golden Angel. I've read almost everything she has. I have a love/hate feeling for her. Love her books but hate that I am all caught up in the series and now I have to wait for her to finish her next book.

Oh my goodness— I could not put this story down! Golden Angel takes us back to the Stronghold world this first full story focused on Marquis and the beloved Baby Doms! Mitch and Domi bring humor, heat and heart as they navigate being more than just naughty friends with benefits. This story made me laugh at Mitch’s antics and made my heart ache as he and Domi both delve into their commitment phobias. And then Angel goes and drops some serious surprises (yes- plural), that made me sit up and go “Oh My God!”. Bondage Buddies weaves new inside jokes in with lines that we’ve loved since the Venus School days all well setting a grand stage for us to meet the rest of the Masters of Marquis.

Domi and Mitch decide to be club buddies. Their likes match up very well, but when Domi realizes she's falling for Mitch, a professed bachelor, things get sticky. She likes to keep that part of her life seperate from her personal life. I liked that this book included a single mom. There's a lot of single moms and I used to be one of them. I can definitely see where Domi and Mitch made some mistakes. What I like is the communication between the two, even if it's not immediate. This book featured scenarios that I'm not into, so that scored it down a little, just for me. Any fan of Golden Angel will love this book. She really writes the characters and stories so well. (Yes! There's plot.) Don't worry, this story is plenty steamy! Great start to a new series and we get to visit with some old friends, too! 4 stars

If you like bdsm stories you will love this one. Unlike most this one has a real story along with the bondage kink. Mitch is a Dom with relationship issues because of his parents divorce. Domi is submissive who because of her daughter also avoids relationships. Both need the release of the extra the clubs has to offer. This is how their relationship progresses. Plus several others in this story will have their own. Can’t wait to see where they go on theirs.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and am very excited to read more of this new series. Mitch and Domi were so perfect together. I adored their chemistry and despite their best intensions and acknowledged agreement their connection was very easy to feel. I found these two very likable and easy to relate to. The story is of course quite steamy and kinky but it also offers a wealth of emotions, some drama and twists. All thoughts and opinions in this review are entirely my own and freely given.

Wonderful new story from Golden Angel
This is a wonderful new story from Golden Angel and it is the first book of Her spinoff series from Stronghold Masters of Marquis and I loved it. I think you will love it to, you do not have to have read the Stronghold books, but there are a few characters that you will recognize if you have read the series like I have. In this story we have Mitch who is very commitment phobic and Domi who is very commitment averse herself. For sometime they just scened casually and then they became Bondage Buddies and they were happy together, until just being buddies is not really enough. There is really nice HEA and we hear about the next story in the series and it should be really goo too. I really love Golden Angel's stories and I think you will too.

The first book in the Marquis series. If you have read the Stronghold series you will see some familiar faces and there are a few Easter eggs hidden in the stories.
This is the story of Mitch and Domi. Both of them want the same things and fit well together as Dom and Sub, but that doesn't mean everything will go smoothly. I loved their interaction, banter and their scenes together. It steams off your page.
At times I wanted to slap both of them on their heads for being so stubborn. They aren't perfect, but that makes them wonderful characters.

After reading (and rereading several times) the Stronghold series, it feels like I’ve been waiting for the Masters for forever. And let me tell you.... it was totally worth the wait!!! Omg!!! Mitch and Domi were just perfect! Both commitment phobes, they decide to just be bondage buddies, like fuck buddies plus kink. Which is all well and good until they develop a case of the feels. Love, love, love! Low angst, heavy steam, dirty sexy fun, and some surprise parentage (Mitch’s parent that is, no surprise pregnancy here!) That little twist was just the cherry on the perfectly kinky sundae. 💜

When Master Mitch approaches sub Domi about having a friends with benefits relationship with him, she's a bit surprised. But, not averse to his proposal. They've always had a serious attraction, she doesn't want a relationship anymore than he does, so of course the whole idea sounds like heaven for her. Now the only question is - what will they do when the inevitable feelings develop? Because of course feelings develop because friends with benefits almost always ends up with one or both of the two developing more than friendly feelings.
Domi is a single mom and her child is the most important part of her life. A relationship isn't even on her radar. But can she continue to have an arrangement with Mitch when it's clear her feelings have changed and his haven't? Will Mitch and she ever be on the same page?
Domi and Mitch are hot together. Reading as their feelings inevitably turned to more than friendly was entertaining even if a little frustrating. I wanted to shake both of them at times, especially Mitch. They were incredibly oblivious and didn't communicate very well. But their chemistry was sizzling hot. I really liked them together, even when they weren't actually a couple, because it was obvious to me where they were heading. I haven't read any of the other stories in what was obviously another series, but I will definitely be reading more of this series, hoping they're all as entertaining and hot as Bondage Buddies is.

It was like coming home (to our friends from Stronghold) while we get a new present (Club Marquis). Mitch and Domi had met during Sub 101 and made a connection. We wanted to see them together, but wham, they both are relationship-phobic. So Bondage Buddies works (a bit like Friends with Benefits). But six months later, are things still the same for both of them. Surprise, surprise, feelings happened. Can they overcome this shocking turn of events. Can they learn to communicate outside of the dungeon. And the twists and shocks I was never expecting kept me on my toes. The first book from the new series was amazeballs and I am so waiting for about four or five more books from this series, at the minimum.

Fantasticly hot and sexy story between Domi and Mitch, their chemistry is so strong. They had a great relationship as bondage buddies a great way to always have someone to hookup with at one of the clubs. Domi found that she was developing too many feelings for, Mitch couldn't believe that Domi would suddenly drop him and his pain made him realize maybe he had made a really bad mistake with Domi. When his Dad shows up he has a shock that rocked his world and he takes it out on Domi. This is a wonderful story so hot with a satisfying happy for now ending.

Totally loved this book. Mitch and Domi are “bondage buddies” for a few months then realize they develop feelings for one one another. Not without some trials, they eventually find their HEA. Loved the glimpse of characters from the other Stronghold books.

This was the first book I have read by Golden Angel, but it will not be my last! I quickly downloaded several of her other books, and I can’t wait to dive in! This series is going to be amazing!
One of the first things I liked is that when the story starts is not when the characters meet….they have been playing together at the club and Mitch is asking for Domi to be his BDSM friends with benefits. Mitch is a dom, and Domi is a submissive. It isn’t exclusive, but when they are at the club, they play together. Domi is a single mom and is focusing on being the best parent she can, and having a good relationship with her son's father. Mitch has a busy work schedule with strange hours and a past where relationships are not in his plans. Golden, the author does a great job of giving us just enough information about the characters to understand their depth, and then as the story progresses we get more and more insights. While the scenes are detailed, they are not overly done.
These characters have chemistry. And the steamy scenes are steamy. Not over the top or overly done, but well placed and very well written. The connection and intensity is very clear in the writing. I appreciate how this story does not follow your typical romance story arc, I really really appreciated that. As a reader sometimes books can be too predictable, but I did not feel that about this book. I also loved how the secondary characters were mentioned and their roles they play in the club and the lives of Mitch & Domi.
If you are in the market for a steamy and a quick read with plot and amazing characters this is the book for you!!! Looking forward to book #2!

I kind of felt silly writing the triggers for this one because the books name is Bondage Buddies and then I remember some of the reviews I've read. So let me be clear this is a romance first and foremost. It's a friends-to-lovers totally commitment adverse to falling in love with a very satisfying HEA, but there is A LOT of BDSM. It starts out with Domi and Mitch agreeing to scene together. The book is set inside BDSM clubs mostly, so skip it if that isn't you're thing.⠀
Now for all of you that read the triggers and went "WANT IT. WANT IT NOW". Go ahead and 1-click this book it is totally worth it. You want it in your collection. Not only do you get the best of Golden Angel books the humor, the snappy one liners, the supporting characters (Yes you get to hear from the Stronghold bunch) but you also get a really sweet but hot love story. ⠀

Mitch's and Domi's struggles with love, relationships, and letting people in are very relatable. If you haven't gone through something like they have you know someone who has. We'd all be so lucky to have a group of friends like Domi and Mitch find. Their journey is inspiring. It reminds us to break out of your comfort zones and try new things.
Some of my absolute favorite parts, other than the so 🔥🔥🔥 sex scenes, are getting to know the Baby Doms, getting to know the ladies from the submissive class in Tempting the Dommi (another incredible book by Angel), and just the interaction between characters. For those of you who loved the dialogue in Angel, Buffy, or the Gilmore Girls you will love this book. You'll love all Golden Angel books because honestly she's a master of rapid fire and a bit (maybe more than a bit) sarcastic dialogue! She knows how to write really relatable characters. She also writes (and always has) unique, nuanced characters that are POC, other minorities, all different ages, places in life, and socioeconomic levels. Very beautifully she writes the inspired, safe, loving place that is created when a community of accepting and open-minded people is built. She reminds us when you let your prejudices go you really become your best self.
You read Golden Angel books for the enjoyment, and they are highly entertaining, but you keep coming back for the depth and relationships.
