(Arabic: جوزيف ميرفي)
Joseph Murphy was a Divine Science minister and author.

Murphy was born in Ireland, the son of a private boy's school headmaster and raised a Roman Catholic. He studied for the priesthood and joined the Jesuits. In his twenties, an experience with healing prayer led him to leave the Jesuits and move to the United States, where he became a pharmacist in New York (having a degree in chemistry by that time). Here he attended the Church of the Healing Christ (part of the Church of Divine Science), where Emmet Fox had become minister in 1931.

In the mid 1940s, he moved to Los Angeles, where he met Religious Science founder Ernest Holmes, and was ordained into Religious Science by Holmes in 1946, thereafter teaching at the Institute of Religious Science. A meeting with Divine Science Association president Erwin Gregg led to him being reordained into Divine Science, and he became the minister of the Los Angeles Divine Science Church in 1949, which he built into one of the largest New Thought congregations in the country. In the next decade, Murphy married, earned a PhD in psychology from the University of Southern California and started writing. After his first wife died in 1976, he remarried to a fellow Divine Science minister who was his longstanding secretary. He died in 1981.

I thought it was excellent. They always are. He’s never boring. I always end up taking so many notes and end up having a general feel good attitude when I complete his books.

Absolute truth!

The most profound book on healing I've ever come across. Absolute authority of the believer who indeed believes that he is a child of God, and that the fulness of God's power dwells in him, and this power God has given him free access is expects him to use not only on himself but also on all others who are desperate for their healing,to manifest and confirm the truth in the word of the only God of truth.

Awe inspiring

A brand new perspective for one who is looking for the truth. I recommend this book for someone who knows there is more out there than just the world you can touch, but we don't know how to get there. This book can confirm what you already suspect. There's so much more than just the world you can touch.

a Book to Reread

This book, even though it is not very long, took me time to get into. I was detached and not paying attention. Suddenly, it was all clear and I can tell you that now that I’m done, it is a great book with wonderful teachings. I highly recommend it!

"Člověka nic nepostihne bez jeho duševního souhlasu a účasti."

Totožné s prvním dílem (a tím myslím celé stejné pasáže), to celé v náboženském kabátku. Protože má mnoho z nás k natolik křesťasnkým textům až odpor, překvapila jsem sebe samu, že jsem to dočetla. Velmi zajímavé, leč nechápu, proč to vlastně Knižní klub po publikování prvního dílu vydával.
