i hate the main character and charlie and denise. they're all annoying

i have no idea why the main character cancelled the engagement. like so what you had to sign a bunch of papers and there were a lot of lawyers? have you ever considered his old trauma and the fact his ex-wife is actively still taking the companies money? nope. she's selfish and stupid and gets mad over the dumbest reasons. and the mmc the WHOLE TIME is describing her as different from the other girls.

This series is an emotional rollercoaster from start to finish. The series is so well written with interesting smart characters. The series has tons of drama and steamy hot passion with a very satisfying HEA

Cute! finally some action

Finally some action to the end of this series. I loved it all but I was ready for it to be concluded. This one also comes with a sneak peak of the Doctor!

What a journey we’ve gone on in this series- watching Carson and Dax find their way to each other, break up on a technicality (that frankly wasn’t something that I’d ding Dax on), and then find their way back together. Everyone was rooting for this couple to find their happy ending, and well, it seems as though we get our wish as this third installment continues.

In addition to the story of Dax and Carson, we get to dance around Kat’s misery at not being with Charlie, and knowing that it was because he had a crush on Denise. She’s miserable, and she is now refusing to have any contact or make effort with anyone from the crew. She’s nursing her broken heart, but at the same time, she’s blaming Carson for what happened when that’s truly misplaced anger.

We watch how the idea of another happy couple is put in the balance because everyone’s afraid to act and then there’s the worry that opportunity will pass them by. Will we get happy endings for anyone else in this series?

Back to our mains – we watch their relationship grow stronger, and we watch Dax make a determination that Carson is who he wants to be with forever. He lays out his ideas for what forever can look like. He wants Carson to move in with him, be his wife and the mother of his children. At the same time, he continues to worry about the danger that she puts herself in every time she investigates a new article. He asks her to compromise and step back from that line of work, and we know that it’s going to blow up in his face.

Speaking of those dangerous articles, you’ll remember in book 2 when Carson was investigating a story about a pharma company that wasn’t on the up and up. The CEO of that company threatened her, and we have seen him now on another occasion stalk her and try to intimidate her. We know that there’s going to be an unhappy ending here and i’m afraid of what will happen to Carson since we know that she can’t give up a story.

We get the sense that Carson and Dax are on the path to forever, until she’s asked to sign a prenup. We know that she doesn’t care about his money and is happy to sign her rights away, but the manner in which it’s done, well, she pulls the plug since she feels like she was taken advantage of. We see their love story end and they both know that there’s no turning back. All we can hope for at this point is that she’s able to rebuild her life and move on.

Answered my own question from above right? It’s a roller coaster for sure in this story. Watching romances start and grow. Watching others grow and then crash and burn. Watching friendships shatter and then seeing how happy news potentially brings them back together. We see a tense stalker situation arise which puts lives in danger and we see the story come to an end. You can only guess what the future holds for this cast of characters, but I will say that this final installment has all the excitement that you’d hope for a closeout. Romance, passion, hate, love, fear, hope…..now it leaves me needing something else to read.

We didn't need this book. I had so many uncomfortable moments and at the 80% mark, I was going to make this a DNF. Didn't even care about the end and I was right. I could have. It is the first time I never cared for an epilogue. AT ALL

But at the same time, I enjoyed this novel right up until I found out what the conflict would be. That late in the game and after everything? Ridiculous!

What I did enjoy was the secondary story. Working through the Kat, Denise and Charlie drama was way better than the unnecessary things we were made to wade through in the continuing Carson and Dax drama. It also continues to be the ONLY billionaire novel where I couldn't remember that the man was a billionaire.

Three books later and everyone looks different. Except for ditsy Denise. Dax lost that danger factor in book two and by book three, he was as soft as pudding. Surprisingly, I grew protective of the guy with the good heart who continued to chase this crazy-ass chick.

As for Carson, I think this is the only time I have ever disliked her character. She is just full of shit! She runs the gamut of emotions for me. I am either loving her blunt and inappropriate manner or hating her unflinching ideal that all rich people do is take advantage of the poor. I also think she's a crappy journalist from that small read we got from her article.

If I am being honest, I did love it when we were watching their relationship grow. As Carson made monumental changes and Dax was smiling like a clown every day. When they were the stable couple and we could slowly see them building a life together, it was enough. Especially their private moments that played out in front of her friends. All the other stuff that came after the 80% mark was just unnecessary and brought down the rating of this novel.

2 books for the price of one you can't go wrong here

So Carson got upset with Dax over all the paper work for a prenup I expected Carson to throw the paper in the air like confetti there's more to this scene and that's not what Carson did. I'm not a big fan of Carson as a girls name . I did enjoy the epilogue to this series . the author also added a bonus book on another series but there are a lot of similarities. Examples instead rich boy Dax we now have a wealthy boy Jax also Carson and Pepper have the same coloring in hair and eyes but not height. The story line is different but alot a like . For some reason I'm not bored with either series even though we have lot of cookie cutting stuff going on I'm not big on buying 4or more books in a series but I'm a little on the hook so will see how the next series pans out.

45% of this is the conclusion, the rest is a completely new book

This should have been a two book series. Carson and Dax's story would easily worked over two books but it was bogged down with the drama surrounding her colleague and roommate, Charlie, her sister Denise and Kat, the best friend. It was too detailed for a subplot, almost a novella within the main story and unnecessary. The 3rd act breakup was silly and a lazy plot device to introduce angst, the danger from the pharmaceutical CEO would have worked on its own. My observation on a third book being redundant is borne out by the fact only 45% of the book takes up the end of the story and the remainder is a brand new, complete book. Very odd.

I will start by saying I love this series and I loved this book! Dax and Carson still have my heart in their hands. Her friends and their relationships and personalities keep me on my toes. I really enjoyed the bantering and chemistry of the characters. Carson is so stubborn that as t times I wanted to shake her. Her inability to believe and trust in what Dax feels for her effects her relationship with him. Will she figure out her feelings and give them a chance? Will she hold him at arms length? Does love conquer all? This book was fantastic. It is a must have. No spoilers. Check it out! It is worth every minute spent reading!

When I say this was one of the best books in the series, I mean it! It made me no where near as upset as the past two books. I thought that the characters were very immature but in this book it seemed that majority (hint: not all) grew up and got a backbone a little bit. I loved the relationship between Dax and Carson in this book...up until she almost ruined everything by being spoiled and petty! And let’s not even discuss Dax Sister 🙄. Overall, I really enjoyed this one. I couldn’t put it down. Great read.

This is the love story of the finest.

This is the continuing story of Dax & Carson. This is a very emotional journey they go on. Lots of love to the core. Dax's sister creates havoc that leads to the breakup. This is where all the tears start when reading. Trust is still a big part of it. There are also compromises to be made. Let's not forget that Carson's job is very dangerous at times. This last book really got to me in many emotional ways. Excellent, excellent writing, and a fabulous book. This series is definitely over a five star rating.

Oh my, I honestly thought right Dax and Carson are back together and that’s it........ Well it wasn’t.
Talk about emotions all over the place. I couldn’t sit still thinking what is going to come at you next.
What with the drama of Kat and Charlie and Denise. Carson caught in the middle would they get over it.
Would Dax sister Renee like Carson or think she was another Rose, there were so many twists and turns.
I like how this played out and gutted it is the end of another series.
It’s so nice to have E.L. Todd back writing again. Can’t wait for the next new series.

This is the last book in the series! The entire series is a huge roller coaster of emotions! Just when you think you’ve been through every emotion a new one pops up and you’re on another ride! This is truest an amazing love story of two people who go through it all and come out stronger than before! Dax and Carson have a love for each other that always brings them back together! This book shows that when two people compromise good things will happen. I loved this book and am sad the series is over! This was well written and I loved the entire series!!

The third and final book in the Two-Faced series by E.L. Todd....what a final book it was.

This whole series has been an emotional journey for Carson and Dax, that led up to this brilliant finale.

I loved Carson and Dax's story.
They really are perfect for each other - their sexual chemistry is hot, they banter like they're friends, they make compromises to keep the other happy - perfect!

I also loved the secondary characters - the things going on with Charlie, Denise and Kat, Matt and Jeremy and even Dax's rich mates.

A great series, that ended with a great HEA.

This series was emotional rollercoaster of emotion from start to finish but I loved every moment of it. I'm so sad to see the love journey of Carson and Dax come to end boy did they go though it. So many time I wanted to slap some sense into Carson she was so childish, petty, and insecure. I'm so glad she got it together in the end. Overall a fantastic series. As always my review are totally voluntary and no monetary compensation was received and the opinions I have expressed are my own.

Really disappointed!

I loved the first two books, but I wish I'd stopped there. I won't spoil this book for others by giving away the plot, but let's just say that the ridiculous change in the relationship at 40% orchestrated by Carson, was so unbelievable and just thrown in by the author to create drama. It really didn't make sense for the character to behave that way. I lost interest from that point, and didn't finish.

I think the final conflict was believable and did pull me in. I probably would have felt the same and even reacted the same but I still thought MMC deserved more understanding. It did have more feeling and character development that wasn't just fluff but growth.
I only read the series but likely won't continue with the next series. I can't get over the how the characters sound to me, like they're out of place.

Gutted book was only half as then went into another book called the Doctor which I’ve already read.
Over all this series was great, just wasn’t as good as the others like the doctor lol
Writing is amazing, i think for me I wasn’t really into the plot and what was the point in Charlie the best friend having a POV when he didn’t get much written that way. Other than that it was a good read and would recommend it 😁

I honestly don’t know if I could love Dax and Carson anymore than I already do. Their relationship and chemistry is so amazing and their group of friends totally made the book. If you have not started this wonderful series you really need to I guarantee you will not be disappointed. I was disappointed because I finished it too fast because it was so good! I love all of EL‘s books.

Lord save us from hard headed women! Just when you thought that it was smooth sailing, this author throws in yet another twist. Carson can't seem to trust the feelings Dax has for her, so when she shows up to sign a "simple" pre-nup everything turns upside down. Will they fix their issues? Will it be smooth sailing? No spoiler here! Another must read by E L Todd!!

Wow where do I start, Dax and Carson are totally meant to be, he’s prepared to fight the world and everyone in it for this woman, she holds his heart in her hands and he holds hers although sometimes it doesn’t seem like it but true love wins out in the end thank goodness. This is a series that can be re-read over and over, fabulous

Happiness

Dax and Carson was at war with each other. They fought through differences jog life styles, friends, jobs until the straw that broke their happiness was the prenuptial agreement. They ended their engagement because of the situation. Carson took her old job back and was kidnapped. Dax saved her life and they became one again.

This series was amazing! I’m sad to see it end because I was so invested in all the characters not just the mains. There were some times the characters mad me mad and I want to scream at them, I had some good laughs, and some good cries. Overall I’m so glad I got this series!

Carson has a dangerous assignment on her job as well as a protective and concerned fiancé. Lots of friend drama and love obstacles make this an interesting Nd engaging series. Would have liked to have discovered who the “leak” was in the office.

Amazing

What was not to like about this series, the drama, the love and the danger all in one. I loved all the back and forth between all of them and how it showed the difference between rich and middle class. Great story loved it will tell anyone I know to read it.

Great

This series was great. Amazing that such a little word called trust can get so twisted up. Hidden omissions become huge lies and misunderstandings. Loved that this series kept you wondering about re outcome.
