I was born in St. Paul, Minnesota, I still live there as well as in Dublin, Ireland. I've been a soldier, freelance journalist, tended bar, sold designer cakes, owned a painting and decorating company along with a number of other schemes and scams. If that doesn't offend you I also play bagpipes with the Brian Boru Irish Pipe Band. All my books stand alone, read them in whatever order you wish. They are filled with the sort of oddballs we are all curious about, but wisely, prefer to keep at a distance. None of my characters will be saving the world from terrorism, international banking conspiracies or coups to take over the government. Rather, they inhabit a world just below the surface of polite society, characters with one foot on either side of the law. The circumstances they find themselves in are usually due to bad decisions, but bad decisions lead to interesting stories. They serve not so much as an example but as a warning to us all. Thanks for taking the time, happy reading.

Good series

I enjoyed the Corridor Man series. Bobby Custer is a bad man, but you find yourself rooting for him anyway. The characters are memorable and relatable, even if they are criminals. F

it's fair to say that Faricy can spin a compelling tale, but he seriously needs a good editor.

The Corridor Man series was the fourth of Mike Faricy's series I've read. Bobby Custer is nothing like Dev Haskell or Jack Dillon!

Early in the series, Bobby was the kind of character you hate to love (like Dexter!) but the deeper I got into the series, he became the type of character you love to hate! I read all 10 of the novels straight through, which is a lot of Bobby Custer to handle!

My husband finished up the series several weeks ago, so after I finished last night, we were able to fully discuss the series without fear of him dropping spoilers. I don't think I have ever been so emotional in discussing a fictional character! The fact that I was so invested in such a despicable character is a testament to Faricy's writing. I much prefer reading series and always start at the beginning so that I can experience the main characters developing and evolving over time. Bobby Custer went from bad to worse, but he kept me hanging on every word.

I definitely recommend this series...then go read the Dev Haskell or Jack Dillon series where the good guys are in charge!

SPOILERS AHEAD!! I read the entire series in order. LOVED every single one and seriously could not put these books down! Trying to figure out the main character all the way through. More money and power (eventually) than he knew what to do with, yet would pilfer $20 from a victim's wallet or steal a candy bar when no one was looking. Crazy as it is but at times I was pulling for him and I loved the relationship with his right-hand man. At times his generosity was heartwarming. BUT, when it came to the end of the final book I was left with the thought that Faricy just got tired and ended it as fast as he could. SO much more could have been added for a build-up to the end. It just ended so abruptly that it was a HUGE disappointment. Maybe develop the story and relationshio between Miguel and his new partner? I've never wanted to discuss a book more with the author than I do on this one. But, even though I reated this just a 3...the series is an absolute 10!

Corridor Man

I guess it was time to kill off Bobby to finalize the series. But ,this present a sad moment to a creative storytelling by the Author. Mike you seem to have a miss spelling with the word Jefe to Jeffe which my kindle talk to speech indicated as Jeff all though the last novel. Worth read and I will miss the psychopath.

Saw the end coming a mile away

Very disappointed. Starting back in Book #8, little hints that turned into bigger hints in Book #9 showed how this series would be played out. Very weak ending to an otherwise great series. A lot of lost opportunities. If the author was tired of writing the series, he could have ended it a hell of a lot better.

It took 10 books but Bobby Custer finally got his due. Well worth the wait. GREAT JOB!! Karma bit him in the butt.
