The best parts of this volume are the flashbacks to the uncle's isekai adventures. The elf and frost daughter are drawn so beautifully; it's always a treat to behold them. As usual, this volume is funny as always.
I came across this series by way of the recent anime on Netflix. Having watched the few episodes available I had to find out how the story developed, and found the Manga online.
The amusing story of a man who has been living in a fantasy world for 17 years adjusting to life in the regular world, interspersed with recollections of his adventures in that world. Lots of fun.
Fast-moving volume. The gags of the characters are always fun to watch. Takafumi pretends not to notice Fujimya's interest in him, or does so as his uncle. The girls are beautiful and ravenous. The faces are drawn very impressively when transfigured.
In this volume's random adventure in Uncle's madcap world we see the truth exposed on how Uncle was able to learn magic as well as gain insight on another person that once came from Japan who is an ancestor of the Ice Clan that Mabel belongs to. In addition we see an explanation how Uncle can play back scenes he not only did not see in person but in this case was unconscious after a misunderstanding by Elf-chan in the last volume, we get to see Uncle's less then glorious arrival in the new world, Uncles descent into temporary madness, the moment he met Elf-chan, poor Mabel's mental breakdowns along with the interesting interactions with Elf-chan, Uncle meats a hedgehog of extraordinary size and reacts as he does, Takafumi gets a chance to try Uncle's magic for a test drive, and we get to meet Fujimi's brother the...unusually tall Chiaki who looks like a grown up even though he is only in 4th grade. Good clean random fun with a sprinkle of dark humor mixed in so none of us get to comfy with the ride. :)
