USA Today bestselling author Miranda Martin writes fantasy and scifi romance featuring heroes with out-of-this-world anatomy that readers call 'larger than life' and smart heroines destined to save the world. As a little girl, she would sneak off with her nose in a book, dreaming of magical realms. Today she brings those fantasies to life and adores every fan who chooses to live in them for a while.

Though born and raised in southern Virginia, Miranda Martin is a veteran who's traveled to places like Korea, Hawaii, and good 'ole Texas. She's since settled in Kansas, the heart of America, with her husband and daughters, a cat, and wishes for a pet dragon or unicorn. When she's not writing, you can still find her tucked away somewhere with a warm blanket and her nose in a book.

A good story, but...

The theme of this series is that a generation ship from earth, is attacked by slaver pirates halfway through its journey, and crashes through the atmosphere of a desert planet breaking up as it descends. Parts of the ship crash land in various places.
We follow the lives of various passengers who survived the crash. This is basically a good story but, for me personally, there were just too many sex scenes that went on for pages.
The story was good enough on its own merits. I also think that, at times, the editing and proofreading was very poor. Somebody needs to learn English.
If you like lots of sex then you’ll like these books, if you don’t just page through.

This is again a serie, I have difficulties to rate. There was definitely interesting baseplot with scifi elements and the Tajss world made me think of Dune. I liked the world building even if it was not so unordinary if you have read some space opera. And also there was lots of sex and romance. But building up with FMCs and MCs realitionships was a bit too insta, too predictable and repeated the same pattern in every book. A bit variance could have been nice. And this is not defenetly a book for someone, who just like the Science fiction and not so much sex and romance in kind of traditional way (you know brute possessive men and damsels to worship).

So did I enjoy the books? Actually I did. Did I got frustrated? Yes, that too. Was these quite silly? Oh yes. What stars should I give? I don't know, something middle. Will I read more this serie? Yes, in some point. Not yet though, I have had overdose for same recipe for a while.

And something about the covers and names of the books. Covers are awful. I truly hate these kind of covers. It makes a cheap book look even more cheap book. And the name of the first book: awful. And actually was a spoiler. Not cool.

Incredible series. I am addicted to the world, the dragon-men and the thought and reality behind this “fated mates” concept. I loved it immediately after book one but I finally started understanding how it human women could be fated mates to these aliens who lived on a planet generations away from Tajss. Further into the series is a male whose mate and daughter died in the beginning of the Devastation of most of their females. You also need to read the 0.5 book to see how a human female is modified way before the Devastation by benevolent woman who is part of the mating company “Alien Mates” who finds overs across time and space. Somehow they, ??human or Zmaj, were modified so that they are able to be fated mates and reproduce. Incredibly well thought out and consistent throughout the over 60 books in the series.

Red planet of Tajss

The generation ship is attack by pirates and crashes on an intensely hot planet. Those that have not died outright suffer from heatstroke. Then it starts with Callista walking out to find edible plants when she succumbs to the heat but is saved by Zadon. Then Zadon gets introduced to the survivors and Gershon, a human male, starts a mob of xenophobic jerks and more dragon men show up and more women fall for the loyal heroic aliens. I am increasingly impatient to read the next in this great series.

No thank you. The whole first book was some highlight of how awful humanity is...which is true, but no thanks. And the main character was so dumb, making all the stereotypical damsel in distress mistakes. Yelling when there's a big scary predator and the guy says be quiet, yelling right at the critical moment the hero is fighting and distracting him so he gets injured...so frustrating. And the main hero guy is kind of a mess, but sweet, and then he gets stuck with this dumb woman due to fate. No thanks.

Enjoyable stories

The stories about the humans meeting the inhabitants of the harsh Red Planet are interesting. My senses and my brain are assaulted however when the writer states on four occasions that the character said ,"I am drug off". On another occasion, the winged alien used his wings to "sore" not "soar." The writer says there is a "square" and then clearly gives the dimensions of a rectangle!

Fantastic Box Set

I have really enjoyed reading this box set. Learning about the Red Planet Dragons and the humans that crash landed on their planet. The difficulties of living on a hot desert planet with 2 suns and animals and plants that want to kill you. Then there are the space pirates that want to make everyone a slave. You never know what is going to happen next. Can't wait to read the next box set.

A GREAT WORLD

This is the first of The Tjass books. However, I recommend you read Red jungle #1 first. Then, return here. The rest of the Jungle books and the sequel Tjass mates have a timeline that is currently parallel to around book 11.

amazing

Five human women find survival and love with alien dragon men. Quite sexy and uninhibited coupling and intense drama with a planet totally unsuitable for them. I picture the dragon men in my mind with the help from the author and yum!

Nope..definitely not for me. Didn’t feel anything for these characters and I felt there was no much descriptive verse than actual plot. Felt slow and tedious. Couldn’t even finish

It's an interesting series. You can tell things are headed in a bad direction for the future. I'm on to the next 5 books in the series.

So cool,so hot and plenty of adventure s😘

What an adventure with those different characters and aliens. This is my first read for this author, it has quite the drama, and everything else one can enjoy with the different personalities of humans and the ohh so hot aliens. This book will keep you up and make you laugh, cry and hotness is another thing going with the sexuality of those beings and how they are a perfect match.👍👏💞
