To celebrate their first year together, Logan has rented a cabin outside of a small town in Minnesota. Three days with no interruptions. No jobs, no phones, and no distractions. Just him and Lily…and some kinky fun.
Sherri picked up her first romance novel when she was twelve and immediately she was hooked. She would stay up reading long after everyone else in her house had gone to bed, needing to see the hero and heroine get their happily ever after. But Sherri never imagined becoming an author.
At the age of thirty, all that changed. After getting frustrated with the direction a television show was taking two of its characters, Sherri decided to try her hand at writing an alternative ending to give the characters the happy ending they deserved.
Since then, writing has become a creative outlet that allows her to explore a wide range of emotions, while having fun taking her characters through all the twists and turns she can create. You can find a current list of all of Sherri’s books and sign up for her newsletter at www.sherrihayesauthor.com.
I remember reading this story from Ms. Hayes about 4 years ago in the anthology, Dominant Persuasions. Rereading it again made me realize how much I loved Logan and Lily. Their connection is real and you can feel the emotions between them. A beautiful story of two people very much in love!!
I have not read the Finding Anna series but after reading this I think I need to. This story has different characters then those books but is so well written I want to read more by this author. There is a great balance of BDSM kink and romance. Logan and Lily are celebrating their one year anniversary with a weekend away to play. I loved this couple and would love to read more with them. The kink in this book is very sexy and not heavy like some BDSM books can be.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I loved these two together! Lily needed Logan to be her dominant and he was willing to do that for her. The connection between the two of them were realistic and the raw emotion between them were unreal, Great read!

We met Lily and Logan in the Finding Anna series. but this book gives us more of an insight into their world. BDSM doesn't have to be the dark and sinister world that is perceived by the outside world. Lily is in the lifestyle when she meets Logan, but his is not, even though he is best friends with Stephan. Logan wasn't even aware of Stephan's world... but he wanted Lily and she wanted him... and their future was contingent not only on Logan's acceptance of Lily's preferred lifestyle, but his willingness to be a part of it. Being a submissive Lily needed Logan to be her Dominant. Luckily for her Logan was willing. Time and Logan's job were an issue, so this weekend was to help them have time to themselves and for them to live the lifestyle 24/7 for the entire weekend. Was a fun read!
I really enjoy Sherri Hayes as an author. The Saving Anna series was extremely well written. With understanding and sensitivity, Sherri explores the impact and PTSD of Anna’s experience of being sold into a sex slave nightmare as collateral for her fathers gambling debts. Indulge is a prequel to the Saving Anna series involving friends of Steven Coleman, Lily and Logan. This is a long overdue romantic weekend for Lily and Logan. It explores their love for one another as will as their dominate/submissive relationship. Sherri’s develops characters who are intriguing and her stories contain interesting twists and turns. Indulge has very little impact on the Saving Anna series. It is BDSM love story.
I love this series, I was happy to see there was a novella on Lilly and Logan. The two of them are living the fast pace, busy life and do not get much time for each other. So for their one year anniversary Logan plans a weekend get away. It is a wonderful fun read.
This was a good novella. Logan takes Lily away for the weekend. Where he gets to play with her. I normally don't like bdsm books but I enjoyed this one.
Very quick story about Lily and Logan spending the weekend together. It was very interesting and wish there was more. I'd love to read their story more.
Reviewed for THC Reviews Indulge is a short novelette in Sherri Hayes’s Finding Anna world that features supporting characters Logan and Lily. Logan has been best friends with Stephan since high school, and Lily both works with Stephan and is his ex-lover, who becomes a great friend to Anna. When the series begins, Logan and Lily have already been a couple for a little over a year. This story follows them as they celebrate their first year together. Logan plans a three-day weekend getaway to a remote cabin in northern Minnesota near Lake Superior. It will be their first time playing dom and sub for the entire weekend and they’re both looking forward to it. Throughout their time together, they engage in all sorts of romantic and sexy scenarios, until the weekend is over and they’re reluctant for it to end.
Indulge chronologically predates all the other books of the Finding Anna series, but I personally think it would be best to read it in publication order, which is between books four and five. That’s because new readers won’t know who Logan and Lily are without reading the other books and might not be as invested in their story until they’ve met them. I’ve loved Logan and Lily as secondary characters in this series, as they’ve both been so supportive of Stephan and Anna. There’s not a lot to this short novelette beyond what I’ve described above, but it was great to finally get a peek into their own private lives. Lily has pretty much known since becoming sexually active that she’s a sub, but when she was introduced to Logan by Stephan, he wasn’t in the lifestyle. He became a somewhat reluctant Dom, but now that he’s more comfortable and gaining confidence, he seems to really be enjoying it. Unfortunately, while I love this couple, their characterizations don’t really deepen past what we already know about them from the other books of the series. The most interesting thing we discover is that Lily’s sister has issues with their lifestyle, but it doesn’t move past a mere acknowledgment of her concerns. It might have been nice to learn a little more about Logan and Lily and their background outside of their supporting character roles. In spite of feeling the story was a bit lacking, I still very much enjoyed their interactions here that I found to be extremely romantic and super-sexy. This was just a fun little uncomplicated story that was a pleasure to read.
Note: This book contains explicit language and sexual situations, including a D/s relationship, self-pleasuring in public, light bondage, use of sex toys, wax play, and anal sex, all of which could be objectionable to sensitive readers.
