You met Ally Kingston in Alphahole when the colorful character informed Carly that she was her new BFF.
Ally suddenly finds herself with an alphahole roommate, too!
How?
Jude and Ally locked eyes in a club and had chemistry up the wazoo when they danced. The night got cut short just as Ally found out Jude is a private eye.
Retreat! Retreat!
~~~
Ally Kingston is NOT my real name. I have secrets that I don't want unearthed.
See, I've been a bit of a bad girl.
I have to keep my secrets. I have to keep everyone at arms' length. I also have to ignore the crackling sexual tension between us. Try as I might, no amount of hate I try to throw at him works. He just won't go away!
So, I indulge in a wild night of hate sex, figuring he'd get his fill and move on.
Wrong.
He's more in my space than ever.
Now the tattooed and muscled hottie private eye is not only trying to stick his nose in my business, but he's pulled some strings - I know he has - so he can move into my corporate apartment and get even more in my space.
I'm pretty sure I'm doomed to fail at keeping him out of my business and out of my bed. Not only is Jude not backing down in his efforts to get me to yield, my past is also about to catch up with me.
My Review
I have loved all of this series but this one is definitely my favourite to date I adored Ally and Jude's story so much it’s a contemporary romance that is part enemies to Lovers, roommate and also has some added suspense. These two have been recurrent characters in the previous two books so I was incredibly excited to experience their angsty journey to true love and all of the roadblocks it entailed actually getting there.
Jude is an absolute force to be reckoned with and once he’s set Ally in his sights she didn’t really stand a chance as he destructs every layer she is hiding behind until all her fences are annihilated and she is stripped back totally bare.
Due to his intuitive nature, Jude knows she’s hiding something and is determined to find out what.
Ally is running scared she’s on the run from a bad situation so holds all at arm's length as she doesn’t want to be the reason anyway else gets hurt. She’s totally reinvented herself along the way gone is the more conservative blonde Alyssa and in her place is Ally a vibrant pink-haired dynamo with a wacky taste in clothes complete with tattoos and piercings she also finds herself loving who she has become comfortable in her new skin.
Jude scares her mostly because she knows she could fall for him deeply so she does everything in her power to push him away but he’s relentless and just won’t take no for an answer and it’s not long before Ally finds her defences crumbling until finally, her only option left is to open up and trust Jude to help keep her safe.
This was a great read it was angsty but also so much fun and man the heat here was explosive these two have masses of chemistry together and are hot with a capital H. Jude is an absolute sexy beast and when he got all dominant and growly I had goosebumps from head to foot. I also adored Jude’s family especially his Baca they were a fabulous addition to the story.
This can be read as a stand-alone but reading the first two books in the series will enhance the whole experience I Definitely recommend this 110% I raced through in record time and it gets a massive thumbs up from me.
I voluntary reviewed a copy of Bad Girl (Alphahole Roommates #3).
We all know it is better to be bad! Ally is not even a true bad girl, she is a girl who got into a pickle and reinvented herself to hide..... bring on all the BAD GIRL.
She can't hide from Jude. He has her number or at least he is going to snoop (investigate) until he uncovers her secrets. I feel like breaking out into song right about now.....
***********Hey Jude, don't make it bad
Take a sad song and make it better************
We have watched this couple tap dance around each other through the first 2 books so I knew their chemistry would be off the charts. 🔥🔥🔥
To bring it home I would have jumped Jude after I slapped him a time or three, glittered bombed more then one person, snickered at a bro mishap and loved on my kitty. Which Kitty you might ask, not the pierced one, Jude had that covered.
There are some parts of this I really liked.
It was very funny at times, when the heroine was trying to be messy.
The Hero only has eyes for the heroine from the start.
The heroine is on the run so is fearful of her past causing harm to anyone she gets close to.
It is a case of her mouth says no but her body gives a different message and I'm not sure if this is a healthy message but within the realms of fiction it's a popular troupe.
The heroine pretends to have a ONS with another man, she also pretends a friendly meal is a different date.
The ending has an interesting twist.
I received an ARC of this book and this is my voluntarily, honest review of it.
‘Bad girl’ is the third and last story in the ‘Alphahole roommates’ series. I have read all the books in this series and I really enjoyed them all! Each book can probably be read as a standalone but I would still recommend that you start with the first story. This will give you more insight into how all the (main and secondary) characters are connected.
Ally Kingston and Jude Novak are not new characters, we met both of them in the previous books and they were both fascinating en great secondary characters. In those stories you could already feel the chemistry between them but then something happened and Ally was avoiding Jude. That all made me very curious about their romance story!! After reading ‘Bad girl’ I can tell you that the writer DD Prince didn’t disappoint!! She gave us a wonderful story and I would even go so far as to say that it was my favourite story in this series.
In comparison to ‘good girl’ (the second book in this series) this story ‘Bad girl’ was lighter and funnier. It still had emotional moments and suspense in it but the overall vibe of the story was lighter and that made it easier to read (not that I didn’t enjoy ‘Good girl’ too! But sometimes you want a lighter story to relax).
I really loved Jude and Ally and the story kept me in suspense until the end! (As a reader I LOVE that in a story!!) The story was told from both POV’s and I think that was a good thing, it really helped to understand the main characters their feelings and actions better. Especially because Ally did everything she could to push Jude away. She wasn’t always nice but I could understand her reasons for what she did. It went from being a messy roommate, to fostering a cat (because she thought Jude’s allergic to it!), to using glitter in ways it never should be used! (After that I will never look at glitter the same way again!! LOL) She really didn’t make it easy on Jude but he proved himself to be patient, stubborn, alpha and very intuitive (that’s also why he’s such a good private detective). I really loved Jude!! He really knew when to push back and when to give Ally space. The sex scenes were steamy and their banter were very interesting. The ending had a few epilogues and that’s something that I love in my books too.
But the most fun I had in this book was with Jude’s big family. They really had me smiling the whole time, especially his grandmother (= Baka) , she was a very special lady! But Jude’s mother, aunt and his three brothers also were very wonderful and great characters. And Jude wasn’t the only hot and fascinating guy in the story. NO!! There were a few secondary man characters in it that I hope will someday have their own romance story too. I have my fingers crossed for that.
The writer DD Prince wrote another great story. I finish this series with a smile on my face and a very happy feeling.
This book didn't disappoint. After reading the first two and feeling the chemistry between Jude and Ally, I was left eagerly awaiting their journey. I've been hooked since Alphahole and now I've got stars in my eyes. So much intensity between these two.
The theme of this series is roomates who fall in love.This Ally's book. She harbors so many secrets which forces her to be self aware of her surroundings and of people. In this book the heroine is the a$$hole. I did not like Ally for most of the book because of what she did and how she treated Jude. I understood her reasons, but I was yelling at her in my head at her so many times while reading. There is something to be said of 'jumping to conclusions'. My favourite part of the book was Ally meeting Jude's brother. I loved Jude's grandmother. She was hilarious. Great book!
We've been waiting for Pinkie's story, and I must say, I WASN'T EXPECTING THAT.!
Add into the mix a hot, bearded and tattoed male set on becoming your one and only, and all sorts of mayhem insues.
This stunner can be read alone, but I would suggest reading Aplhahole and Good Girl first, to get the whole effect.
Oh my word!! Jude and Ally are pretty amazing. Sorry, let’s start at the beginning. Jude is a crazy hot alpha friend of Aiden Carmichael. He works security and does some “PI” work for CC. He has his eyes on Ally and he knows she’s hiding some things about her past.
Ally is Carly’s best friend. She has pink hair, dresses crazy, and loves glitter and her Peeps Onesie. She keeps her past life a secret. She feels she’s protecting the ones she loves. I can honestly say I wanted to throat punch her for treating Jude the way she did. Jude handled her beautifully and that made it easier for me to deal with her hatefulness.
Jude finds out everything about Ally’s past and the alpha Jude steps in and he puts Ally in her place. He is in control now and Ally needs to deal with it. He’s doing this because he loves her and he needs to protect her.
I loved this book. I love this whole series!! DD you continue to amaze me with every book you write. I definitely recommend this book, as well as the first two books in this series.
Bad Girl did not disappoint! I stayed up until 2 AM reading because I could not put it down. DD Prince has given an awesome book once again. Ally is sassy and on the run from her past, and Jude...WOW is he HOT. I'm talking fanning yourself because he is protective, bossy, and just enough of an alphahole to give him the rough edges. The man had me grinning like a fool a few times, to the point that my husband tried to distract me from continuing to read it. Yeah, I ignored him.
If you are looking for an awesome enemies-to-lovers romance with steam off the charts, this is the book for you. Ally will have you shaking your head, laughing, and in general smiling as you read all about her adventures. Jude will have you falling in love with him in no time flat, because that man does not give up. Definitely one-click this one because it is now one of my absolute favorites!
D.D. prince writes characters that are relatable and enduring, they entertain with chaos and antics.
You can laugh along during a cut throat game of monopoly. Cry with those who are revealing the lowest point of their lives, dealing with devastation and sadness. You can sigh in relief when this couple finally starts to come together like fate and karma have forecast.
This book has D.D.'s humor at it's finest, whether it be the "Not Jude" references or the banter with Jude's family. I was laughing, I was crying, but most importantly I was enjoying this story immensely.
I was engaged in the the mess of Ally and her life that I could not look away. And Jude, oh my he has the patience of a saint.
Bad Girl was a spectacular ending to this series!
This is the best of the series- hands down. Character wise and plot wise - the pacing is fantastic. I loved the mafia plot line and the suspense aspect.
Ally is someone who grows on you- she’s not instantly likeable by any means. The family dynamics with Jude’s famil is out of this world and super special: It made my heart squee. It also really made me start to love Ally.
Jude is amazing in every way. He’s perfection. I went in expecting a completely different take on the “Bad Girl” aspect. Ally is a bad girl (boy, does she do some stupid things) but not for any of my preconceived notions. She’s smart and loyal and perfect for Jude.
Knocked this one out of the park!
I didn't think I'd love any of the leading men in the Alphahole series more than Austin, if I'm honest, but Jude Novak surprised me.
Jude is perhaps the least alphaholish of the three in the series, but he is certainly a super hot, super swoonworthy alpha.
We met Jude in book 1. A friend of Aiden's, Jude is also a private investigator.
Ally Kingston is Carly's best friend. The sexy, stylish girl with the ever changing hair colour is also secretive.
With good reason we learn, but as she tries to keep Jude at arms length, he goes to any length to learn who she is and what she is hiding.
When he moves himself into her apartment their forced proximity begins.
These two have fantastic chemistry and are fire together 🔥 I adore Jude's family, especially his Baka; she's amazing 😍
Jude is the kind of man we'd all want. He's protective, he's sexy, he'll do anything for his girl, and he even cleans 🤣😍
Bad Girl just gave me all the feels. It swept me up like a warm hug, and I just adored it. I loved each book in this series and they were all 5 star reads, but Bad Girl stole my heart.
I can't recommend this series enough. Don't even hesitate, you need these alphahole's in your life!
Adore Jude
So, book 3 in this series and the 'finale' didn't disappoint! We again find another extremely hot, bossy and often grumpy alpha-hole. I thought Aiden in book 1 was winning, but Jude just upped the stakes. Absolutely love him! Though sometimes Ally was annoying as she kept putting barrier upon barrier up between them. But.... I get why. Self preservation and not wanting harm to come to others and all that... Overall still 5stars, and a new book-boyfriend to boot.
Literally everything written by DD is amazing.
I love her writing! I LOVED this book!
It was at times roll about on the floor clutching my stomach hilarious! I love it when DD lets the comedy fly because this had me creased.
Of course in true DD fashion, there are more twists and turns than a Helter-skelter! Once you’re feeling a little settled in how the book is going to go she throws you a curve ball that smacks you in the side of the head. But that’s what makes her writing truly hers. It’s one of the reasons why she really is my favourite author.
Jude is absolutely delicious. Like mega sundae with all the toppings delicious! Like all of the calories delicious! He’s so delicious that you can’t help falling in love on the first bite. I love that he is so effortlessly dominant and the spice he brings is toe curling. I also love how that dominance runs into situations that he manages. He is personification of cool and collected. He is so intuitive and he can be so sensitive. He is pure Dom. I loved Jude.
Ally is such a brilliant character. Even though she hides behind her persona of tattoos and piercings, she has such a candy heart under that vibrant exterior. She cares for those she loves far more than herself. She will willingly put herself in danger and detriment to protect her friends and family. That, to me, makes her a Heroine in the truest sense of the word. She’s brilliant and was a joy to be around.
All in all. This book was brilliant. To me it was the best in the series hands down! and as much as it pains me to say the end, it absolutely was the best way to end the alphahole roommates series.
Amazing work DD! Would absolutely recommend!
A bad girl and an Alphahole. Ally and Jude. I had been waiting not so patiently for this the 3rd book in the Alphahole series. Ally could not hide her true self from Jude although she tried hard but he could see straight through her. I didn’t warm to Ally initially but through the book she showed her true caring and sensitive self and I understood what she was hiding and why and I grew to love her. Jude was delicious, a hot tattooed badass alpha with squishy centre. At the start he was unsure of Ally and wanted to check her out, he was her perfect foil, like what he saw and was determined to make her his. He was strong and determined and yet still sensitive to her needs and problems. He was protective, assertive and no matter how hard she tried Ally couldn’t shake him off. In this story we got Jude’s family, Aiden and Carly, Austin and Jada, amongst others. I adored Jude’s family, particularly his Baka and his aunt, his brothers were a hoot and there was a comedic feel whenever they were around. Ally and Carly’s close relationship was beautifully explored and the whole story was typical of Ms Prince. A combination of hot sex, strong alpha men, sassy girls, action and sensitive issues written with care. A definite must read, made all the better if you’ve read the first two books. I want more of this series.
It’s hard to hide from someone when they’ve perfected the hunt.
Poor Ally. The man of her dreams (and her every dirty fantasy) turns out to be a man who is capable of digging up her old life; one that she’s tried desperately to keep hidden for her safety and for the safety of those she loves.
One boozy night, booty call, and night-of-her-life later, Ally has it even worse for the sexy, tattooed P.I., and much to her chagrin, he can’t get enough of her now, either.
Jude has it bad for Ally. Big man, brandished in tattoos, muscles for days, and an “I get what I want attitude” starts a relentless search for information about the girl he’s falling in love with. He refuses to let his pink haired vixen get away from him. In fact, the more she fights him and their connection, the harder he tries to discover all her secrets…
Add in a hefty dose of delicious spice between a couple who want to eye hump one another even when tensions are running high, a little orgasm denial, some eye watering and jaw dropping belly laughs, and a Baka who won’t take no crap from nobody, and you’ve got yourself another winning DD Prince masterpiece.
I loved the third and final instalment of DD Prince’s Alphahole Roommates series and am looking forward to potential “Not Jude” characters *clucks tongue and winks* appearing in more of her work in the future!!
This book was so much fun and a great conclusion to the Roommates series. Ally was quirky and funny . She was just rainbows and sparkles and sometimes that was literal.
Jude was all growly and alpha and protective and I loved him so hard ! He was willing to do anything it took to break down Ally’s walls .
Ally’s was running from her past and couldn’t let Jude or her friends get involved because she didn’t want them to be in danger . I loved that Carly. Aiden, and Jude were willing to break rules and do whatever it took to help her even if she fought them on it .
There were so many LOL moments in this story . I found myself cracking up so many times . Not only with Ally’s quirks but the banter between her and Jude and their antics. I will never look at glitter the same again!
Then there was Jude’s family ! I loved Baka, sweet Aunt Ivana, and OMG the scene where Ally met Julian . Then Jude found out where she knew him from . Oh that was priceless and my favorite scene in the book.
One thing I would have liked to have seen on page was the reunification of Ally and her mom but other than that this story was perfect . I just didn’t want it to end so I’m being a hog.
This whole series was fantastic but I think Jude is my favorite of the boys. It’s hard to decide because they were all awesome .
This is a must read series ! Start with Alpha-hole , then Good Girl, and last but not least, Bad Girl.
Moving to San Diego for a new job, and staying in the company apartment, Ally makes immediate friends with Carly (book 1) and through Aiden, her and Carly's boss, meets Jude. She is smitten, until she learns he is a private detective, then she makes every excuse she can to avoid him. Ally has secrets. She fled her old life to escape a criminal family, and is in fear for her life and that of anyone she cares for.
Jude is smitten by the pink-haired, tattooed, wildly-dressed girl who works for his friend, and he feels the chemistry. When she tries to distance herself, he uses the forced proximity tactic that has just helped Aiden and Austin find their one and onlys, by moving into her - company-owned - apartment with her.
Jude is drool worthy. He is not only gorgeous, intelligent, strong, protective, a family man, etc., he is also persistent and patient. Desiring Ally, he tolerates all of her bad behaviour - which includes saran-wrapping the toilet - in order to uncover her problems AND solve them for her if he can.
I didn't engage with these two at the start as quickly as I did the other two couples, but in the end, Jude won me over to make them my favourites.
Loved it.
Well what can I say Bad Girl is the 3rd and final book in the lovers to enemies room mate trilogy and in my opinion DD Prince saved the best till last. The hero Jude is knicker meltingly hot whilst the hero nine, Ally, is the most frustrating to date! She made me want to reach into my kindle and give her a good sake, but as always DD’s well constructed back stories and detailed inner monologues’s made me want to hug her and tell her everything will be ok at the same time.
I’ve laughed and cried with this book and have enjoyed every second. Give it a go I promise you, you will not be disappointed. I would strongly recommend reading Alpha-hole and Good Girl, the first and second stories in this trilogy, first as DD Prince has a wonderful way of interlinking her stories and you revisit scenes from different perspectives which makes the experience of reading her stories so much richer 🥰
Jude is really a sweetheart!!
I always get so excited when Dee releases a new book because I know she will bring all the right emotions and feel goods. When I tell you this book is a true enemies-to-lovers I lie to you not. Books 1 and 2 have nothing on Ally.😂 She made Jude look like a prince charming with her petty games. This book will make you laugh so hard at the back and forth and I don't if we can call them jokes but the bet and pranks are out of this world. At the end though Jude restlessness to break down her walls paid off and Ally got to see just how stand-up Jude is. With the help of Carly manipulation Jude found of what Ally was running from and he made sure to show her that he would take care of her and could be trusted. You definitely will have the laugh of your life while reading this great book.
I was worried about this book since I struggled with book two of this series. I'm going to put that book down as a one-off because it is the only book by this author that didn't resonate with me because I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
I loved the amount of details this book had and the humor. I liked that Ally tried to be a bad roommate where Jude was concerned but that no matter what she did, Jude stayed persistent in his decision to make Ally his. No matter how crazy Ally got, Jude took it in stride.
I enjoyed watching Ally blossom in this book and that Jude saw her for what she was despite the flamboyant mask she was hiding behind. Great steamy moments sprinkled throughout the story, suspense, and humor made this a great book.
The way that the ending wrapped up the danger aspect of the story was my only gripe, and that was just because it happened so fast. Another great book by one of my favorite authors.
I can't believe this series is over! I have loved every installment. Jude and Ally did not disappoint. Jude is an alphahole extraordinaire trying to protect Ally. He is now my favorite of the series(Sorry Aiden). Ally did try my patience at times but she(and her stupid drunk vagina) also made me laugh out loud many times. I loved Jude's family, his mom, Baka, Aunt Ivana and especially Julian(lolol). I love how well DD entwined the 3 books of the series together. I get very attached to the characters in books and especially the characters in the series. I feel like I know and love them personally. As always DD did not disappoint!
I loved this book. Ally is just so great at being over the top, and yes her constant refusals to spill her secrets were annoying but also completely understandable. I enjoyed the twist at the end. Jude was perfection. I’m beyond in love with that character. I feel like I need more of Jude in other books and of course more of his crazy family. I have my fingers crossed (please please please) that we get books for all of Jude’s brothers and one for Rex (he’s really intriguing). I highly recommend this book if you like possessive alphas that push the limit to get the girl and keep her safe plus a quirky and tough heroine who doesn’t take any crap.
I absolutely love BAD GIRL!! Ally and Jude are freaking great!! I was laughing so much when I read their story. The antics from Ally are hilarious, what she does to Jude is priceless. There was also so much passion, and heat between Jude and Ally, that these two kept me on my feet, and I never wanted to stop reading! I highly recommend this book!!
