9. I love, love, love finding a great bargain.
10. Did I mention that I hate whipped cream? It makes my stomach churn to look at it, touch it, smell it, or even think about it. Great––now I'm thinking about it. Ick!

4.5 stars- It's a bit outlandish but in a steamy, fun way for the most part. Evie's stepbrother is the exception. I like how Evie took control of her life. And, if you've read other books in the series, you won't be surprised that Charlotte strikes again. 😄

This was a miss for me. Everything happened so fast I couldn’t connect to the characters or the story. And when Eve said she didn’t want Adam to use a condom because she didn’t care if she got pregnant and wouldn’t go after him for anything…I was done. It felt rushed, unrealistic, and honestly kind of cringe. I finished it and still don’t know what I just read.

Evie has been living and working for her stepbrother Marco as a waitress since her mum was killed, her life is nothing like she had imagined but just when she thinks that things cannot get much worse she discovers Marco’s new plan. He is auctioning off her virginity its then that she realises she needs to get out of dodge and fast, so when she overhears a conversation at the bar where she could earn some money for flirting with a man named Adam it seems that pre-ordained. Only she plans on doing more than flirting with Adam, she wants at least one thing in her life to be in her control but what happens when she realises that Adam means more to her than just a memory will she be able to leave him behind and will she escape the clutches of her stepbrother?

Adam wakes up after another school reunion with his oldest friends, each one is finding love and je is stood waiting on the side lines wondering when his turn will come. He is happy with his life as a martial arts instructor and working at the library he can nurture his inner nerd but when a woman walks through the door whom he is sure came straight from his dreams he decides to take a bite of the forbidden but could one night with the woman of his dreams cost him his life and his heart?

This is the first book I have read by this pair of authors and can hand on my heart says that is will definitely not be my last. I felt a real connections with both of the main characters and their chemistry was seriously off the charts. This was a short and seriously hot read that I recommend highly. 4.3* Read

2.5 ⭐️ This was weird.

I think I need to quit this series. The novellas get more and more outlandish and this one was just odd.

This one was male librarian and mystery girl get it on after she reveals that her stepbrother is trying to sell her virg!nity to the highest bidder. It was in the library during a game of two truths and a lie that begins about 5 seconds into meeting each other. And that's just the half of it. The outlandishness doesn't stop there...

I'm still trying to take it all in because, seriously, what was that?

I think this novella is a modern day take on Adam and Eve.

Well. That’s nothing like I expected a story about a librarian to be. There’s intrigue and suspense and danger along with the spice and books. I was already intrigued by Adam from what I’d seen of him in the previous book, so I was looking forward to finding out more about him in his story. And this blew all of my expectations out of the water. Evie is sweet and feisty and I think she’s going to be a perfect match for Adam.

This is book four in The His First Series and it is Adam and Eve's story. Adam is a male librarian and loves his job so much and now he and his friend Nick has also opened there own karate Dojo studio for kids and it was very successful. Eve went into the library and sees the handsome man at the desk so she tries to look confident when she asks for a certain book but her voice betrays her. Adam and Eve have instant chemistry between them but would it be enough for them to have a chance to be together and a happy ending and will Adam be able to save Eve from Marco her dangerous step-brother. I really enjoyed reading this book and it was so well written that I definitely recommend you read it.

Adam is a hot male librarian. He sees a hot woman come into his library and they hit off. Little does he know his friends convinced her to go along with their plan. Eve is everything Adam wants in a woman. Eve has her own secrets but gives her virtue to Adam. She leaves him but he will find her. I really loved the determination of Adam to find his Eve. It is a wonderful quick read.

This is a short fast paced insta love between Adam and Eve. Their chemistry is off the charts hot and the scenes sizzle. The authors do a great job painting their scenes as they deliver another entertaining book to the series. It's well written ,moves quickly and smoothly and is an enjoyable read.

Another short read in this series. This is Adam and Evie's book. I loved the dual, first person point of view, which is always a deal breaker for me. I am loving this series and each one is better than the last. This was a steamy read. Adam works in the library and Evie walks in one day and they end up playig a game.

This is about Adam and Eve, Adam is a hot librarian. That was something I did not see coming. To have a nerdy hot librarian. Eve has secrets. This is a fun story but do not let the librian fool you this has action and suspense too. This is a quick but cute read. It was very entertaining.

Fighting To Fulfil His Dreams -
Eve’s life is really turbulent, so she is happy to try anything that would help her escape captivity. Adam had been dreaming of his perfect woman for a while, so he is shocked to see her walking toward him at work. One night of mind blowing sex is not enough for Adam, so he is prepared to fight the maniac holding Eve, to get his happily ever after.

It is hot and steamy with hilarious moment and engaging banter, but it will also make you want to punch a wall. You will love reading this short story and you will not be able to put it down. It will entertain your on short journeys.

His First Time: Adam (Hot Shot of Romance Quickies) was a great read by Ann Omasta and Callie Love. Adam is a male librarian but most women see only his love of books. He meets the gorgeous Eve who is tempting to him. Eve tempts him when she walks into his library and takes a bite out of his apple. But she has lied to him and he doesn't know if that is something they can get past. I really enjoyed reading Adam and Eve's story and can't wait to read more by the authors.

I have read all but two of the books in this series so far and I've loved every one of them. They're light, sweet, hot and easy to consume- kind of like literary popcorn. You can easily read Adam's story in a single sitting and you'll probably want to. It offers a willing virgin, a hot librarian and a sleazy step-brother; all the elements needed for a good romance.
It's a stand alone story, but cameos from some of the characters in the previous stories in the series provide a special treat for loyal fans.
His First Time: Adam was just the distraction I was looking for on a grey Saturday afternoon in a grim world.

Adam and Eve and the Garden of Books

His First Time: Adam is the fourth book in the His First Time series. This is the story of Adam and Eve, I kid you not. Adam is Fiona's (her and Beau are married) best friend. Sure he had a crush on her for a long time but that has passed since he knows just how much she loves Beau and will never feel that way about him. Adam became a librarian since he loves books and has all his life. But he also opened and owns a specialized karate dojo with a good friend, Nick. He may not be able to bet here much because of his hours at the library but he is still really proud of it. He is lonely and at his school reunion the night before he not only drank too much but it appears he also complained about being lonely.
Evie "Eve" is a young woman who has been dealt some bad cards in life. Her mother was killed by her stepfather, who then went to prison. Since then she has lived with her controlling and perverse stepbrother who runs a bar that she also works at. He basically controls all parts of her life and she just discovered what the really entails. She came across his open laptop where she discovered her virginity was up for auction on some website and as it was already into the six figures she knew that he was going to force her into a deal. But things change for both Adam and Eve over the course of one night.

After having read the previous books in this series I thought I had an idea on what this story would entail. But I was wrong and also quite nicely surprised and very entertained. Who knew just how sexy a night in a library could be? This was a fun read with an interesting story-line and characters. Towards the end things got a bit eye-rolling and rushed but otherwise it was an enjoyable read.

Adam, the sexy male librarian is dumbfounded upon seeing the woman from his dreams (literally) walk into his library and seeking books about sex.

Evie, attempting to learn about sex in order to lose her virginity and spare herself from being auctioned off by her stepbrother, plays a game with Adam of two truths and a lie. While Adam doesn’t believe her truth (she’s a virgin) he plays along and they engage in ‘sexy’ times - upon which Adam learns that was her truth!

Evie leaves abruptly the next morning trying to escape town before her stepbrother locates her. But he finds her and ties her up. Adam comes to her rescue (along with the cops) and they forge a true relationship.

If you like insta-lust, hot characters, and a little fantasy, this is a great way to spend a little more than an hour of your time.

Love in the library
This book is about Adam and Eve. Adam is a librarian, and has a side gig with his friend Nick as a karate instructor with an after school program. Eve is trying to escape her step-brother who is wanting to sell her virginity tot eh highest bidder. He’s a deplorable human being!
Adam and Eve meet in the library where she approaches him, wanting to lose her virginity to him, for a couple of different reasons. How she ends up there so surprisingly was a bit of a mystery – until she revealed it to him. They had some sweet and steamy moments but I found their interactions a bit immature and clumsy. I did however like the ending, and that her step-brother gets what he deserves. I give this book three and a half atoned stars.

After getting totally wasted at his High School reunion, Adam feels he confessed something that he might regret. While getting ready to close up the Library where he works. The woman of his dreams comes walking in. She approaches his and ask for books on SEX not sure why she wants the books so Adam helps her. While showing her the books Eve asks Adam to be her first. Eve did things she wasn't proud of but being with Adam was not one of them. Adam and Eve are meant to be together and Adam will do everything to make sure that will happen. Things happen that Adam has to rescue her from her Step brother who has pretty much kidnapped her. This whole thing has brought the closet together forever.

I wasn’t quite sure what to expect going into this work and knowing it was part of a series but could be read alone made me go for it. There were references to the previous works and it did set up the next in the series. The story was okay, the plot was a little spotty and could have used more backstory. I feel like more could have been done with it, turning it into a full length work instead of an insta love/slam bam bang story. The characters were okay but fell a little flat, which I think expanding on the story would have improved.

I give this a three out of five stars. The plot was splotchy and the characters were flat.

This is a story about Adam, who is a librarian and Is lonely. His friends decide to play a little trick on him by hiring a woman, Eve to flirt with Adam in the library where he works. Eve was going to flirt but she wanted more than to flirt. Adam didn’t know whether he was dreaming or if it was real - it was every man’s fantasy. What would happen when Eva told me the truth? What would Adam to find Eve? This was a story that was more than a little crazy, a little smoking hot, sizzling and very explosive! It is an over-the-top fantasy but it could happen. It makes you want to believe. It was well written and well thought out and the characters were entertaining.

Adam is a young male librarian and Evie walks right into his library and has him hooked as his vision of the ideal woman he'd want to date visually. After an intense and dreamy time together Evie reveals some dark truths leaving Adam reeling especially after everything he was feeling, but knows he has to rescue her from Marco, her step brother with awful intentions in a dark criminal underworld.

It had a beautiful and powerful ending after a very unbelievable, in a good way, flirty and fun start and completely unpredictable middle which kept me hooked reading. The ending too made good note of the importance of women's safety and the importance it has in society in relation to the main characters too, overall it was a great and very packed full of drama story.

Too much too quick

It's fiction so reality, schmality; the story doesn't work because the action overtakes the characters. The character development isn't there so they feel flat and so do their feelings for one another. This leave the scenes that should be hot...not. The characters insta-love is all tell, no show.

Short fiction is difficult because you have a limited amount of pages to pack the punch. A good editor would've pointed out that this storyline isn't a good fit for hit it & quit it emotions and dialogue. It has the elements of a decent action romance novel or even a novella if more character development is done. As is, it's flat and steamless.

Adam is librarian who was lamenting the fact he didn't have a girlfriend at his ten-year high school reunion. A few of his friends were visiting a bar the following day and convinced the bartender to go to the library and flirt with him...so Evie did...but she was staying with her bad-news step-brother who treated her like slave labor for his bar...so when Adam fell into insta-love with Evie, wasn't part of her step-brother's plan...but you will need to read this story to see what happens...I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
