Blacc Rose
If someone wanted to know what Hell looked like, all they had to do was look at where Rose lived. Life is hard, and as much as she tried to cover it up, it showed. Lorenzo is an animal, and he makes her want to give up on everything. The only thing holding her together is dancing. Rose is in love with the art of ballet. It is her first love, and there is nothing that would make her give up on it. Even with a bruised face, or cracked ribs, she would never stop escaping into dance and teaching her students. When Yamir walks into her studio, stunning her, she struggles with trying to hold onto her rational mind, telling herself that entertaining Yamir could get her killed. But...he is so enticing, and he makes her feel alive for the first time in a very long time. When things go real bad between her and Lorenzo, Yamir steps in and turns into her savior, but at what cost? Rose gets news that she was not prepared for and isn't sure what to do about it. However, the choice is snatched away from her before she can wrap her mind around it. Will she ever be able to get away from Lorenzo, or will he always be in the corners of her mind, hiding in the shadows and unwilling to let her go?

A very good relatable story!!!
First time reading this author and although I would have like a warning or heads up for possibility of triggering emotions, but even without it, it was good.
Rose was getting to my last nerves and I needed her to become the strong independent black woman needed to give me hope that their is light at the end of the tunnel.
Yamir, was truly bae and even though I felt at times, since he never lived or being part of abuse and abusee/victims, he is a little bit too judgemental and too black or white with no gray in between. But it's all good.
I can't give too much until I am done with the series...

Omg Shanel 🤩🤩
This was 😳 wow! I don’t even have the words!! I loved everything about the story! Rose 🥀 made me so angry through 99.9% of the book! I wanted to jump in and shake her behind!! Yamir/Young was so strong and caring I loved it. Lorenzo...well I just hope he is getting rejected at the pearly gates lol 😂 the ending...whewww I can’t wait for part 2!

It was just ok for me
It was just ok.for me the story dragged then it was all.over the place feeling like it was rushed and it all honesty it shove have been a standalone really isn't a need.for a part 2 but of course now it has to be because its left with an unnecessary cliff hanger

Wasn’t ready
This book needed a warning or something. Because baby I wasn’t ready. This book stressed me all the way out! I understood where she was coming from I did! But she needed to open her mouth. Part of me feels like had she a lot of things could’ve been avoided. Outstanding

Rose behaves like anyone blinded by love. She doesn’t know what real love really means. I love the friendship between her and Shay because she truly cares about her and she keeps it real. I can’t wait to see how things play out. I’m already feeling Young but I just know I could fall in love with him

Feel so bad for Rose as they say it’s layers to an abused relationship and it always easier said than done to tell her to leave….Lorenzo is a lame just like any man who abuses a woman but thank god for Young…he’s patient and attentive..Shane always got some heat

I’m trying to think of the words to say..... this book was definitely a page turner! I’m happy that Yamir wants to stand by Rose, she really needs it! I hope Lorenzo’s crazy butt is out of the picture for good so she can have her happily ever after!

Listen this is a must read. From the beginning to the too be continued. I didn't know if I wanted to laugh, cry or be mad. All i can say is thing definitely happen for a reason. Good job I can't wait for part 2.

Loved it.
I hate that Rose wasn't strong to stand up to Lorenzo. I hated that she waited so long to fight back and stayed in the situation she was in. I was glad Yamir beat the hell out of Lorenzo.

Wow! Don’t leave me hanging
I really enjoyed this book. I have read so many of her books and she did not disappear TRUST. Looking forward to what the heck is happening with Rose and Yasmir. Can’t wait!!!
