I love stories with people who are in the WITSEC program, so this book was right up my alley. I liked the characters and the intriguing plot. What a wonderful romantic suspense!
Until she could testify, Maisy Daniels was living in a safe house. Even though the criminal was in jail, he sent hitmen to kill her and the other witnesses. When she was found, she realized her safe house wasn't so safe anymore so she ran for her life (literally). She went to Detective Blaze Winchester for help. Not only had she known him from investigating the murder of her twin, but he was also the father of her unborn child. Keeping her child safe was another reason she had to hide. And Blaze was going to do everything he could to keep both of them safe and alive.
This was a great suspenseful book full of action, intrigue and wonderful characters. I loved the chemistry between Blaze and Maisy. Ohhh, and that HEA was just so perfect!

Maisy Daniels is pregnant and in witness protection. She has vowed to put the man who murdered her sister behind bars. When there is an attack on the safe house, she flees to Detective Blaze Winchester. He is not only a detective, but he is the father of her baby (a baby he does not know about). This is a full-on action packed book from the first pages. The murderous man that killed her sister and others will stop at nothing to kill all of the witnesses. So basically Maisy and Blaze are on the run full-time. This is a good book that will leave you on the edge of your seat as you follow them on the run. You have to admire Maisy because she is bound and determined to testify again Luciano to help put him behind bars. She has some spunk! I always enjoy a good Julie Anne Lindsey mystery. She knows how to pull you in from start to the bang up finish!

I really enjoyed this book.
We meet Maisy who is in witness protection. She is staying in a safe house but something happens that means she has to run. She runs to Blaze, the officer who arrested the murder of her sister. To make things more complicated Maisy is pregnant by Blaze.
Together they must outwit a killer, who will stop at nothing to make sure that his trail does not go ahead. As they spend time together and as the due date for the trail and the bay approaches they must decide do they have a future together, if they can stay safe.
A well paced plot and good characters.

Wonderful and inspiring!
This thrilling story of intriguing drama surrounding the characters was awesome. The author created a incredible story of finding love after a young pregnant woman who is facing unbelievable circumstances and danger. Once again the author gives the readers inspiring adventure and romance.

Excellent story. Maisy is a strong loving character. She refused to give up despite everything that happened and was happening around her. Blaze is protective and supporting of Maisy. Together they were able to overcome numerous adversaries. The Winchester family dynamics is wonderful.

Julie Anne Lindsey has such a talent for writing mysteries. Even knowing who did the crime (because in this book she tells you from the beginning who did it) there is doubt and speculation peppered throughout the length of the story.
