Even if you don't believe in Santa you can feel the Christmas magic in these short stories about different people and their Christmas Wish. There is magic in each and every story that I read. I had the pleasure of receiving 5 of the stories in exchange for my honest review.

The first story that I read was Christmas Miracle.
Sophies father was arrested for breaking into houses and stealing jewelry and he kept saying that he was innocent. Sophie tries to help her Mom make ends meet while trying to think of a way to prove her Dad was innocent. Her Christmas wish is to have him home for Christmas with their family.

A great book, love the story line and the cast of characters.

The next book I read was Marrying Molly

Do you believe in witches, fairies and curses. We neither do I but this story will make a believer out of you too. If you answer no, you will after you read this book. If you answer yes then you're in for a treat.

Great book. It makes you laugh, smile and cry. And it will hold your attention til the very end.

The next book in the set that I was asked to read is Saving Maddie.

I must admit I really liked this and thought it was the best one I have read so far until I read the next one. Finn seems like a stubborn woman and a really good police officer. She is working an investigation with her team and decides to take matters into her own hands. Really loved Maddie, Bryan and Finn and think you will too.

The next book is What Dottie wants

Veronica or otherwise now known as Ronnie is a little bit impulsive. Maybe tempermental when it comes to giving her daughter what she wants. Dottie asks for a ballerina doll with bendable legs and Ronnie looks every where for one. She gets really mad when she finds out that they are being advertised but will not be released by the Toy Company until after Christmas. What is she supposed to do, thats all Dottie wants. She send a not so nice letter to Thomas Toys and the now owner of the company comes looking for her to explain why the dolls are not released yet.

The last book I read was Toy Soldier Christmas

Nutmeg and Craig both have had a really rough year and are hoping to have a great Christmas. Nutmeg has survived breast cancer and Craig was injured in the war.

It really is a a cute story about two people who didn't know the other one before Nutmeg came to stay at his parents cabin for a quiet Christmas to recover from the awful year she has had. He knows her brother and ends up being in town and his parents don't know he is.

The magic of the season is shown once more in this delightful story.

This was a great box set!
Here are a few of my favorites.

Dear Sinterklaas – Angela Stevens
A sweet story about a Dutch traditionalist who comes to the US and falls for a leather clad beauty who is attracted to bad boys. Can Daan change Kassandra’s mind about waiting for love instead of having a one-night stand? Angela Stevens brings us a little holiday joy from the Netherlands. A beautiful story.

Finding Love With Dear Santa – Stacy Eaton
What better time of the year for a second chance romance, but Christmas? When Faith’s son writes his letter for Santa, he insists that his mother write one also. Even though she knew that it would end up in the “that will never happen pile”. As Peter is playing Santa he sees the woman that stole his heart years ago. Can he fulfill her wish? This is a sweet story.

A Chocolate-Box Christmas Wish – Josie Riviera
Cora was once bitten, twice shy until the new TV Anchorman rode into to town in his classic Mustang. For Patrick it was love at first sight, but will Cora let the ice around her heart melt enough to love someone. A very sweet Christmas Wish story.

Toy Soldier Christmas – Rachelle Ayala
An old toy Nutcracker sprinkled with a little Nutmeg and what do you get? A true Christmas Fantasy. Christmas is a time to make dreams come true and that is what happens in this story. A very cute story.

Christmas Wishes and You – Alyssa Bailey
A second chance love story. Trevor broke up with Beth ten years ago to pursue his medical career and to let Beth enjoy the college life without him weighing her down. Now ten years later, both in the medical profession, can they pick up where they left off? I just love second chances, especially at Christmas.

Christmas Miracles

From this set, I read “Christmas Miracle 1935” by Rebecca York, “What Dottie Wants” by Susanne Matthews, and “He Has Santa” by Stephanie Queen. I enjoyed this heartwarming stories.

In “Christmas Miracle 1935,” Sophie’s father is accused of stealing. She knows he is innocent, but can she prove it? With Jack’s help, she might find that Christmas miracle. He is falling in love with her, but can he trust her enough to help her free her father? This is a heartwarming story about genuinely kind people. We met Hannah and Matt in “Race for the od” by Rebecca York.

“All Dottie Wants” is a delightfully heartwarming story about a little girl who wants a doll for Christmas. She might not be able to get that doll in time for Christmas, but could she get something, far more precious than a ballet doll? Ronnie writes a letter to the owner of the doll company. It was a letter that will change her life, and it might possibly right wrongs done in the past.

“He Has Santa” is a touching, second-chance romance. Sometimes, pride and fear get in the way of happiness, and they lead to regrets. However, as Dylan and Junie’s story show, with hope and forgiveness, we can have a second chance. Sometimes, it takes a Christmas miracle.

I loved the stories I read in this set. I found them to be charming and heartwarming. I look forward to reading the rest of the stories.

He Has Santa by Stephanie Queen

What a heartwarming story. There were so many emotions. When hockey player, Dylan, receives a letter addressed to Santa from a child that just lost a father, the letter touches his heart. He wants to help the child and is shocked to see that the letter was sent from an address he knows. Hoping to see June again after six years, Dylan tracks her down and finds that their chemistry is still there with all the sparks. She confirms she sent him the letter and tells Dylan that her child is his as well. Although shocked, Dylan wants to be in his child’s life and be a father. He’s never stopped loving June but keeping this a secret and raising his child with another man makes him furious. He’s not sure if he will ever forgive her. June let her insecurities and a misunderstanding ruin their relationship the first time and knows that Dylan has every right to be so angry with her. She wants him back in her life and if having him only there for their child, she’ll take it. Will they ever have a future together?

Christmas Wishes and You by Alyssa Bailey
WHAT IS IT YOU WANT MORE THAN ANYTHING THIS YEAR?

What a delightful and heartwarming Christmas story that is also a second-chance romance. Two people who were sweethearts but then broke up, each going off to college to pursue their medical degrees and careers. One fateful night, they will reconnect—but before they do, an accident, a stranger, and a wish made and granted.

Beth Silverton will be nearby when a three-vehicle accident takes place. She will start triage wanting for more medical aid to arrive. The elderly gentleman in the first car makes her think of Santa, and he asks her questions as if he knows her. So what is the one wish she would want more than anything?

“Trevor Darrington. Every year. I just want him. It’s silly, really,” she smiled and shrugged, “but there it is.”

“The white-bearded man nodded sagely. “The one who got away. Yes, that would definitely be a gift to cherish. Don’t forget, my dear, Christmas is all about wishes, hope, and love. Allow the unquenchable hope that created your heartfelt wish lead you to healing love.”

Trevor Darrington felt it was the kindest thing to do, give up Beth, allow her to have a life, enjoy college, and be free. But it has been a decision that haunted him. Now, seeing Beth again, the woman he has always loved, he wants her again. But, has ten years ruined their future, or do they have a chance to see if they still have feelings?

“Beth, we were more than lovers, we were friends first. We can go back to the beginning. Start over now that there aren’t any other obligations to come between us. I still dream about you.”

I love the communication, the easy way they still are comfortable with each other, but the knowledge that a decade has passed and that they must work back up to a relationship. What was a childhood, teenage romance now involves two adults who have been apart. Sure, they dated others, but was there ever anyone else that they were in love with?

The story has some mystery, suspense, danger, romance, and passion. Two people realize that even with all the time that has passed, the spark is still there. I liked how Trevor isn’t pushing or controlling but concerned and caring, especially when danger plays a role. He is a man in love and protective of his woman. Sometimes, when you think you will lose what means the most, you realize where your future lies.

“Did your fondest wish come true for Christmas?”

As a fan of Ms. Alyssa Bailey’s writing, I truly enjoyed this lighthearted Christmas tale. It is a wonderful reminder that sometimes, wishes and dreams do come true—never give up.

Dear Sinterklass
By Angela Steven's
Kassandra has a thing for bad boys and a want to be lether gal.  While at her sisters wedding she meets her brother in laws cousin, Daan, a clean cut man.  They spend a few great days together. Daan being from the Netherlands, their time together came to an end.  While taking a gap year Daan decided to head for the states in hopes to find Kassandra. This is a very sweet short Christmas story. I really enjoyed it.

Finding Love With Dear Santa
by Stacy Eaton
Faith and her 5 year old son  moved from New York  back to Merryland after her mom died. After takes her son to Merryland Santa Depot to see Santa. Not knowing Santa was her childhood friend Peter. Turns out has had a crush on her since 8th grade. Faith being so sad he was doing everything to make her happy. What a sweet story. I am an avid Stacy reader. I love all her books. This one will not disappoint.

A Chocolate Box Christmas Wish
by Josie Riviera
Cora owns a daycare, loves childern. She has bad luck with men. After being taken advantage of by an online dating site she swore off me.  Patrick came to town from North Carolina for an anchorman job. Needed car help and Cora came to his rescue. He had asked Cora out a few times and she declined. He was determined for her to say yes. He needed to find her so he asked around for where she lived. This was a very sweet story. I love finding new to me authors. I will be reading more by Josie Riviera.

Toy Soldier
by Rachelle Ayala

Meg "Nutmeg Brown" a breast cancer survivor just lost her job as a weather girl. So she headed to a small town to he alone to celebrate Christmas.

Craig Brockman a army specialist returned home from Iraq to attend funerals of his fallen buddies. The same bomb which left them dead also took is eye and foot. Upon returning he was asked by his friend, Frank to deliver a gift to his sister, Meg.  Who happens to be staying in one of Craig's families cottages for Christmas. This story took to much of a weird turn for me.

A variety of stories all dealing with Christmas. Something for everyone. Indulge, treat yourself and enjoy! I was fortunate to receive and arc, and as so we had 5 of the stories available to read and review. I have the same 5 as Phyllis Carpenter and it goes to show that everyone has different preferences.

I enjoyed the *Christmas Miracle*, the mystery of it, the time line the small town and yes the romance. I like the fact that Sophie was a strong woman, dealing with the adversity and taking life by the reins.
*Marrying Molly* is a story of a curse that has spanned generations and Mollys determination to break it, there is loss, love, family.
*What Dottie Wants* is truly a relatable issue to parents when Christmas toys are advertised on tv. There is a twist here from earlier years and I loved seeing how they grew and I the hope that is shared.
*Saving Maddie* is a romance with Finn in the Guardia. It brings to light the child trafficking, slavery. It is not dealt with over the top, so the light tummies should be able to read. Finn herself suffered a loss, and this is a story of hope, love and not giving up. The ending was a heart sigh.
I settled into my chair to read *Toy Soldier Christmas* with a strong woman who has been dealt a lot in her life, and with a soldier, wounded coming home. Unfortunately for me the *magic* that transpires in this one just didn't do it for me.

This book is a win for everyone, because even if there is a story that's not on the top of your charts your still getting a lot of bang for your buck, a lot of opportunity for romance and reading a different genre. Thank you for the arc! I freely volunteer my thoughts and opinions.

I haven't read all the books in this anthology yet but I have read He Has Santa by Stephanie Queen and loved it!

When NHL player, Dylan, received a letter to Santa, he was sure there was a mixup at the post office. Until he saw the return address. Could it be from June, the girl who walked away from him years ago? No way. She got married and moved to New York so she couldn't be living at her parent's house. If she is, was it her child who wrote to Santa? Going to the address to get some answers, he found June and realized his feelings for her were as strong as ever. He got the answers he was looking for and even more than he expected. June had sent the letter to him and the child who wrote it was his! His emotions were all over the place. He still loved June but was angry that she kept his daughter from him for six years. He was a great guy who wanted to get to know his child and be in her life so he knew he had to get over his anger. June never stopped loving Dylan. I liked how much June had matured and regretted letting her insecurities get the better of her when she was younger. He had a right to be angry but she hoped he could get over it enough to be part of his daughter's life, if not hers.

This is a wonderful Christmas story. The letter to Santa was heart-breaking but, all in all, it was a feel-good story with a HEA that I highly recommend.

Dear Santa: A Christmas Wish is fitting for this very unusual year 2020. As an avid reader, I enjoy reading new authors, while still enjoying selections from familiar authors (Mimi Barbour, Josie Riviera, Mona Risk, Rachelle Ayala, and Dani Haviland.) 18 stories written by talented authors, mostly contemporary but one historical (Christmas Miracle 1935), diverse characters, twist and turn plots, with believable resolutions. At about 6 cents per story, an excellent holiday gift. Looking forward to reading the set. Two stories that I have enjoyed so far.

Alone at Christmas by Mimi Barbour is fitting during this pandemic, as many readers and their families are alone during the holidays. As an avid reader, I know that many authors are choosing not to include Covid19 in their 2020 releases. Mimi Barbour's story is not over bearing but relevant for the times. Instantly fell in love with the characters, as Midwesterner can relate to the blizzard conditions, loved the naughty puppy. Good beginning selection to this boxed set.

Rebecca York is a new author to this avid reader. Christmas Miracle in 1935, while an historical romance, gives hope to people facing hardships during these trying times.

Christmas Miracle 1935 by Rebecca York

Marrying Molly by Patricia RoseMoor

What Dottie Wants by Susan Matthews

Christmas Kiss by the Sea by Traci Hall

Dear Sinterklaas by Angela Stevens
Kassandra Is chasing sex with the stereotypical fervor to go against her upbringing. She ignores her friends and family and is very judgemental and shallow. Daan is a wonderful man but stuck on Kassandra for some reason. I wished he met someone else.

Saving Maddie by Melinda Colt

Finding Love With Dear Santa by Stacy Eaton
Faith returned home after the loss of her husband. The circumstances are shocking and very sad. Peter always liked Faith, but she was with Jeremy since ninth grade. A wonderful read.

He has Santa by Stephanie Queen

A Chocolate-box Christmas Wish by Josie Riviera

Toy Soldier Christmas by Rachelle Ayala

A Plate of Christmas Cookies by Dani Haviland

This wonderful box set has something for everyone. There is a lot of Christmas magic and wishes contained in these pages.
A Chocolate-Box Christmas Wish is a sweet short story. I really liked Cora and Patrick. Their sparking characters are well developed. Cora is a remarkable woman and Patrick is the new news anchor in a neighboring town. Their courtship is complicated and held my interest from the first page. This is a most enjoyable book.
Dalia's Christmas Wish is a short story about a dedicated doctor, Tyler, who always puts the patient first. This causes a lot of havoc in his personal life. Dalia is the very cute daughter of one of Tyler's patients.
Hours of reading pleasure await you in this heartwarming box set.

Many good ones, a few misses.

I never know how to review this type of collection;seems unwieldy to comment on all 18. There are several that I especially liked and one I just couldn't finish. Don't want to be rude as these authors have had challenges along the way this pandemic year as have we all. Still, I expect careful editing and several were too full of typos. And really, you can never be able to write to Santa on stationary:( Shouldn't be hard to get that right - it's stationery, folks. Some were a stretch to stick with the theme, but all in all a nice collection.

So far I have only read "He has Santa" by Stephanie Queen. This is a story about a hockey player who has a daughter that never knew about. It's a sweet story, language is a bit rough for someone not expecting it. Definitely a good addition to a Christmas collection.

I enjoy Stephanie's work and I will be ordering the Holiday Series because so many of my favorite authors have contributed books to this compilation.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas with this festive, romantic series! This collection of stories with warm anyone's heart, but my favorite was Dear Sinterklaas. Kassandra falls hard for the bad boys time and time again, but when Daan shows up in town, she cannot help but wish the charming Dutch hunk will be sitting under her tree on Christmas morning. Grab a hot cocoa and snuggle up under a blanket because Sinterklaas is coming and you'll want to stay up all night reading!

A Chocolate-Box Christmas Wish - Delightful Christmas romance with all the feels. A chance encounter leads to romance and a happily ever after, although there are some bumps along the road of romance. It is also wonderful to catch up with characters from previous Chocolate-Box romances. Excellent story!
