Born the introverted son of a father whose mental illness led to suicide, and a mother who clung to her faith, Levi turned to writing as a therapeutic means of private expression.

At the age of 18, he began to share his work in the form of spoken word poetry. Levi's broad taste in everything from hardcore to hip-hop has resulted in a unique contribution to the genre that seems to both fit and transcend it.

Through blunt lyricism and a captivating audio-visual production, his performances are a wholly immersive experience: an invitation to an audience that might see itself in his stories, and complete them.

Levi continues to write from a place of personal transparency, combining advocacy and artistry for thousands of listeners across the globe who resonate with his work.

It's All Worth Living For — a memoir, of sorts, featuring 10+ years of poetry, prose, journal entries, essays, photography, illustration, handwritten commentary and artwork — is Levi's first published book.

Gosh this book is so good and I wish I could write like this. It has made me laugh, sob, and understand pieces of myself and life that I didn't know about. Levi is also a really cool guy and inspiring. (not to flex but I've met him and he signed my copy) I recommend this to everyone

I’ve loved Levi the Poet for years— and reading this only deepened that love.

First of all, this book is so well made. The formatting, the colour, the development from his early albums until his last- so well thought out and executed. It’s such a well made book.

Second, I truly appreciate just how well Levi can write, and how much thought/theology he incorporates into his writing. His writing has always been dear to me, but reading it without music makes it even richer. His craft is so good that it doesn’t need a soundtrack to back it up. It makes me want to pursue more theology in order to both learn from incredible teaches and be able to weave it into my own writing.

Third, the transparency. We thank God for Christians who write about their struggles. We thank God for Christians who swear when it’s needed. That is all.

Fourth- I loved seeing his thoughts on his own writing. It made the book so personal.
Most books, I only read once and then maybe again a few years later. This book, I will come back to time and time again to soak in the glory of it.

Levi the Poet is a brilliant artist and this book is an ode to the last decade of his work and expression. This book is an excellent addition to anyone’s creative library and lends introspective contemplation to a prayer/meditation session.

Still hope to one day see a fiction book from Levi that will parallel the brilliance of his Correspondence album. Until then, grab this book for your bookshelf.

How to begin to describe the work of art this book is? It is not your typical book of only words typed on pages. The book is creative in every aspect. There are photos, handwritten notes, and pages of journals throughout the book. This is a glimpse into the life of Levi The Poet. As a more casual listener of this spoken word artist, this book allowed me to read his work & the stories that go along with them. I love his honesty. This creative approach to what a book could be is refreshing and inspiring creativity in me. I would highly recommend this book. It is beautiful just to look at but is also valuable to read.

I started listening to Levi the Poet about a decade ago. His stuff got me through some of the best and worst seasons of my life. It was an absolute pleasure to read back through a decade of his poems, reliving the time each poem brought me back to. I love getting to see how some of these poems hit Levi all these years later, and seeing how he's changed over the years. I feel fortunate that I've been able to grow along with his writings and that they're just as relevant today as they were ten years ago. This book is well worth your time.
